What Did Janet Mean?
I'm sorry for the unpublishing and republishing because the last time I updated it was showing the older text that I had typed in, in this part.
So, it just wouldn't update so I had to do it.
Kiara's P. O. V
What did Janet mean by that?
Yesterday, after the spy session, she indirectly called me a fool for thinking that Jason is a creep.
Offcourse he is a creep! I mean who would know the address of a girl who barely even talks to you?
And it's true. I had not even spoken to him before this. All I knew is that my school has a Jason Wellington, who is a nerd with mediocre cute looks.
But he, he knew more than that about me.
The only other alternative is that he...he likes me. Even though I find that really adorable, a nerd-turned-hottie having a crush on me, I don't really think it's possible.
How can he like me when we haven't even exchanged a hi or noticed each other before, or at least I haven't. It's not possible. Far from it.
So what did Janet mean when she said 'and all you picked up from that is that he's a creep?'
If she was implying that he likes me then it's proved that she's a fool.
But if it's not that, then what is it?
She didn't even take me for costume selection today morning. And who did she take?
Steven.
These two, have something cooking.
Hell, I think everyone around me has something going on, all the bloody time.
Even right now, when I'm staring at her, and I know she's perpously ignoring me, I can tell that something is on her head.
I realised that she will tell me eventually and this is just her getting mentally prepared to do it, so I let it go.
As soon as we reached school, she dashed out of the car and in no time, she disappeared.
I sighed.
I slowly make my way to my first class.
Let's see what this day has in store for me.
*********************
It's finally second last class of the day.
Now, I'm not necessarily a bad student. I take my studies seriously but for me, like every other student, sitting in class for three hours, moving from one lecture to another, is excruciatingly painful.
And now that I'm in the second last lecture, I can't help but feel happy.
It's English and we are waiting for the teacher to arrive. The bell just went off so it's not she is late.
I look up at the door and just then Jason walks in, his bag slung over and his specks hanging on the front of his t-shirt.
Ever since his over night change of avatar he's become a topic of discussion among girls.
How do I know? Well I just get the news, I'm aware like that.
His hair has a nice cut and are set properly, which somehow makes it look soft. Who could have guessed his hair could look so good.
His clothes are his size and make him look good, worth the heart eyes.
But what's not changed is his behaviour. He still seems a little uncomfortable with all the attention that he's suddenly getting.
He looks up and I can see all the girls smiling up at him suggestively.
That makes me want to snap at them.
So suddenly their interested?
But why are you getting so bothered?
My inner conscious asks me and I frown.
It's just not...fair.
Stop lying. You know it's not that.
My inner conscious retorts and I shake my thoughts away when Jason moves towards the empty seat next to me. He looks nervous but he still throws a smile my way.
"Uh-um, may I?" he asks and I smile at him nervousness before nodding.
It's just makes me very happy and I don't even know why.
Just then the teacher walks in and everyone shuffles around before everyone settles down and the teacher clears her throat before talking.
"Today I want you guys to write down an essay on your dreams and why do you dream to do that. Why do you want to take up a certain career? Does it exite you, etc etc. Basically I want you guys to think about yourselves. Immature topic, I know, but it's something you guys often forget to do. So go ahead and do it," she finishes instructing us and sits down.
She is right. I really need to think what I have to do with my life. I always wants to fly a plane, like travel through the skies.
See the world from the top.
I loved travelling for the same reason. I want to see every part of the world. I also want to travel through Europe in an open car.
"So what you thinking huh?" Jason asks me while playing with the pen in his hand.
"I am just thinking about myself, like she said," I say and he nods.
"Got anything yet?"
"Yeah, I just realised how much I'd loved to fly a plane," I answer his question.
"Pilot huh?" he asks with wide eyes and I nod.
"What about you?" I ask him.
"Automobile Engineer," he says with a cute grin, looking proud over his decision. It's my turn to be shocked.
"Woah, that's cool. So why Automobile?" I ask him, really curious.
"I love cars, and I want to create the best one in the world and then take my girl for a long drive," he says in a dreamy haze.
I smile before asking him. "Why do you love cars so much?"
"The adrenaline rush. That's what I love," he explains and I smile at him. I never deemed him to be the kind to have such dreams.
"So you'll take me for a ride in the best car in the world?" I ask with a smile and his expression softens and he looks at me in a heart melting way.
"I'd do anything for you," he says seriously, his eyes staring deep into mine, holding an emotion so intense that I flinch. My smile falters slightly and that's when he snaps out of his gaze.
"Uh-what I meant was that all you have to do is ask, I'll take you," he says with hopeful eyes and I smile, letting the previous moment pass.
"So why do you want to become a pilot huh?" he asks me, wiggling his eyebrows.
"Because I want to see what the world looks like from the top," I answer and smile.
"Woah," he exclaims and smiles as well.
"Anything you want to do before you start college," I ask him and prop my elbows on the table.
"I want to crash into someone's wedding," he speaks as if he is telling me a top secret.
"What about you?" he asks me and turns his chair in my direction.
We are sitting in the back of the class and speaking pretty softly, so the teacher has no idea about our little conversation here. The others are engrossed in their own work.
"I want to travel through any beautiful country in an open car," I confess and his expression changes slightly as if my statement ringed a bell.
"Hmm," he drawles going in deep thought again.
"What you doing this Saturday?" he asks me out of nowhere.
"Nothing," I reply, still a little taken aback by his sudden outburst.
"Keep yourself free," he tells me and smiles.
But before I could question him, the bell goes off and he sprints out of class.
What was this guy up to now?
