I was hanging out with my friend and her cousin yesterday and seriously they're the best.

My friend is literally the Ted to my Bill, Wayne to my Garth, and Chris to my Gordie.

We were hanging up in her cousin's room where he has all these awesome classic rock posters and like 5 guitars and a drum set, and he's playing for us.

Me and my friend (Ilana) are both laying on a beanbag chair just chatting and were all singing most excellent 80s songs and making obscure references nobody will get. Like Bill and Ted.

It's so funny cuz I'll just start singing and then they would join in. We were even all dancing in the living room to Pour Some Sugar On Me and let me tell you, that was incredible and also probably scarring XD

Dudes can I also say how annoying it is when adults are sooooooo shocked that I know good music??!

The other day I was singing Carry On Wayward Son by Kansas. Now, yes, I was introduced to this song through Supernatural, but I don't see why that belittles my enjoyment of the song. People don't seem to get that.

Anyway. I'm singing. And my dad goes "do you even know who sings that song?"
Me: *quick sigh* yes. Kansas.
Dad: do you know anything else they sing?
Me: *eyeroll* *in a very Bill and Ted voice* All We Are Is Dust in the Wind, dude.
Dad: wow. Nice job. I'm impressed.

Mom: ???? How do you know this song??
Me: there are people who don't know this song?

Stepdad: Ohh that's probably where she learned that song from!
Me: actually I knew that song before I even watched Supernatural....

Mom: You like this song?
Me: of course!
Mom: how do you know this song?
Me: I don't ever remember learning it. I just knew it. I don't think there's anyone out there who DOESN'T know this song.
Mom: I just didn't expect you to know an old song. This was around when I was growing up.
Me: So that means I can't have good music taste?

But yeah adults love to try and test me on my 80s facts for some reason and it irks me. That was way off topic.

BUT BACK ON TOPIC I'm gonna have a Keanu Reeves Movie Trash Day with my one friend soon (WHO I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW WAS IN LOVE WITH KEANU REEVES TOO!!!!!!!! AHSENJDJDJJLHLFSJD THIS WAS AWESOME NEWS!!!!!)
