Fangirl Poem
Guys I wrote a poem about being a Fangirl. Check it out dudes. <3
Being a fangirl is the hardest job ever
New series entails your sleep schedule says "never."
As soon as you love somebody, they die
and your friends make jokes when you start to cry.
The actors are married or three worlds away
Single Fictional characters are dead anyway
Shipping is hard cause it never comes true
Your OTP sinks and you don't know what to do
Crossover shows will never be real
But with that season finale, might as well make a deal
But Crowley won't show and The Doctor's not here
Hogwarts is hidden and Sherlock's NOWHERE near.
3 years between seasons, how will you survive,
When NONE of the characters you love are alive?
When everything that you love surely dies
Perhaps now's the time to start liking the bad guys...
It's 3 in the morning, one movie to go,
But cliffhangers mean that you'll never know
Fanfiction is good but never updated
And the available ones are for ships that you hated.
Conventions are expensive, that goes without fail
And merchandise never seems to go on sale.
We watch what will happen when push comes to shove
As these characters teach their own version of love.
It started as a show and became something more
Because one little fandom opened a door
To friendship and heartbreak and all of the tears
And memories lasting all through the years.
The Potter boy taught me it's good to be brave.
And The Doctor showed me how every life should be saved.
Starkid has told me that you're not alone.
And Walking Dead told me your family's your home.
We learned from Sherlock the importance of trust,
And like Dean said to Sammy, I'm proud of us. <3
