Martha takes a deep breath, before entering the sea-blue colored building, titled C.A. Middle School.

All of the students, who had studied in C.A. Elementary School were sent to the C.A. Middle School, after finishing the 5th grade.

Martha had aced in Mathematics and Science and had successfully earned her purple-rimmed glasses.

She was very excited the previous day to join the school. Yet, now, many thoughts gnawed on her insides.

She ignores all the looks given to her by the older kids. She quickly makes her way towards Home Room - 6-iii.

Martha was a little shy as she approached Mark, during lunch break. She was just nervous about her glasses.

"You look pretty," He says, as Martha helps him carry his big tray of lunch to the table. Mark helps Martha in return when she gets her lunch.

They quickly eat their veg burgers, before standing up to explore the school.

The 7th and the 8th graders didn't have lunch, yet, which kept the noise at bay. The 6th graders are on the ground floor, the 7th graders on the first floor and the 8th graders on the second floor.

Outside, the ground is filled with green grass, similar to their Elementary School.

They play for some time on the swing - pushing each other, one after another, before returning to class.

They had just begun Middle School, carefree, innocent and young. They didn't know what life had in store for them.
