I was born when humans and monsters were still ruling Earth, together. It was such a peaceful time. We lived in harmony. Until, the day. The day all monsters will recall in history, something never to be forgotten. It was the day war broke between our two races. I was always very protective of the monsters. When we lost, I was so upset. I was the monsters number one warrior, I tried, and compared to the other monsters I was amazing, and powerful. However in reality, the humans souls were stronger than mine by far, and with so many of them, I never stood a chance. However I fought until the very end. 

When we were locked down in the Underground, I didn't forgive myself for a long time, and truth be told, I don't know if I have yet...

However when we were locked in the Underground, it finally exploded the growing fire in my stomach. I vowed to never let anyone hurt anyone in the Underground. Ever. From then on, we built the Royal Guard. King Asgore's strongest fiercest, warriors. I, was chosen as the leader of the Royal Guard. Of course I trained. Hard. At the very beginning of our new lives in the Underground I trained for about 5 hours a day. I trained, and trained, and trained. Everything from hardcore exercises, to learning to fight even better. I built up my attack and defense. As time went on, I chilled off with all the training. Don't get me wrong, I still used my spears on a daily basis, however I trained so hard in the beginning, there wasn't much I wasn't prepared for. 

Then one day, everything changed. 

I was talking to Papyrus, one of the skeleton brothers. He's one of my closest friends. I love him to death. Especially when he tries to act all cool and tough. Papyrus is a pretty cool dude. We were in Snowdin. Not one of my favorite places to be. It's so fudging cold! Of course this is the one place Sans and Papyrus haaaddd to live. Ugh, those dorks.

Out of nowhere Sans came sprinting towards us. 

"Guys..." He said, out of breath

"Haha, a little out of shape dork?" I teased. 

"No, seriously" Sans said, actually serious sounding. This alarmed me, Sans was never serious. 

"Well what brother?" Papyrus jumped in.

"There's... a..." He sputtered.

"Spit it out!" I said, raising my voice.

"H-human in.. t-the Underground" Sans finished, still tired. My heart stopped. My fire exploded again. I felt a rage of furry swarm over me and completely inhale me in its wrath, I wouldn't be surprised if I was actually bright red. 

"WHERE?!" I yelled, fire practically spitting from my mouth. 

"Oh my gosh" Papyrus said. "I, the Great Papyrus, shall catch them!" 

"Not if I kill them first" I said, my voice a low, menacing tone. Papyrus looked kinda of scared. 

The last time a human fell, well the first human to ever fall, caused Asriel, King Asgore's son to be killed by the humans on the surface. They killed him, because of a fucking accusation. They didn't even know how the human was treated. Chara. Chara. Thinking about it made me even madder. I couldn't wait to bear Sans answer.

"WHERE?!?!" I shouted again. 

"I don't know, I saw them, but wasn't sure what to do." 

"Heh... thanks for saving me the job" With those final words I ran off. I ran to my house. I completely undressed everything I was wearing. I pulled out the hidden corner in my room. It was a pull out. I pulled it out, and sitting there was my armor. It had everything, metal armor, under armor, and of course, my spears. The most important thing however, was already flared up inside me. DETERMINATION. I quickly pulled on my under armor, then my armor, and grabbed my spears. It had been a while sense I had a good fight. Not to mention, I was itching to kill this kid.

I went outside and started my trek. I vowed to scour every inch of the Underground, and wouldn't stop until that humans soul, was mine. I first looked in the waterfalls, sense that's where I live. However I found no luck. I next went to the Hotlands. I dreaded this place the most, especially when I had my armor on. But I was NOT gonna let a little heat stop me. I went to the giant lab. I've never met the person who lives here. I should know them, but I guess it's never come up. Not the biggest of deals though, I think I can live without it. However what I can't live without finding. that. HUMAN! I banged on the lab door. If someone was there, there was no response. 

I went Snowdin. Then, creeping around a corner, I found them. I immediately engaged battle with them. And they didn't run, they were willing to fight. I struck them down with my spears, and lowered their HP quite a lot. They fought back, but I easily dodged their puny attacks. I wasn't sure why, but their souls weren't as strong as I remembered. Maybe it's because they were a kid. Then it hit me. I, was murdering, a kid. They hadn't done anything wrong. They hadn't tried to kill anyone, they were probably more scared than anything. I looked into their eyes, which was a bad decision. They struck back, hard. I still couldn't help but feeling guilt. They were a kid. They looked as if they were about to completely break down into tears. They kept trying to fight back, but I was more aware, and didn't get harmed at all. When they were just about to die, I was going to spare them. 

Then something sparked...

I remembered Chara, and how the humans killed Asriel with no hesitation at all. Asriel was a kid who did no harm. If he got NO mercy, WHY SHOULD THIS KID. With the fire once again flaring, stronger than ever, I lunged and shot the kid, killed them with no mercy given. The human shattered, leaving a blue soul behind. I picked it up. I was struck with an over washing feeling of integrity. I put it in a jar, and carried it, triumphantly I might add, to Asgore. He was overjoyed to see I had... taken care... of the human... 

From then on I took care of the next 2 humans that came around. It became, kind of, my duty, I suppose. Not the easiest thing in the world, but it finally meant I was a warrior again. 

Authors Note: Hey guyss I hope you liked it! My first chapter. Don't worry, this book will be all about Undyne and Alphys (aka the cutest ship ever known in the history of the flipping universe).
