Chapter 22

It had been a while now and Angus could now deal with the fact that his baby was dead. He was actually quite happy at the moment. The little curly hair was on the way home and happily hopped through the garden gate. The rest of the band had moved in with them and now they all lived together. Angus unlocked the door and hopped into the living room, where Malcolm was reading a book.

"Why are you so happy?" He asked without looking up.

"I have something to show you!" Angus squeaked like a school girl.

"Mh." Malcolm growled. "What?"

"Look at me finally!" Wailed Angus.

"It's exciting right now." Malcolm muttered, and read on. Angus pulled the book away from him and put it on the table. Malcolm looked hurt.

"Look what I have!" Angus happily held up two tickets.

"What's that?" Malcolm asked, taking the tickets from him. "Those are tickets to a Rolling Stones concert?" Malcolm asked, eyes wide. Angus and Malcolm were both big fans of the English rock band.

"Yes!" Angus shrieked excitedly. "The tickets for Sydney were sold out, but there were still some for London! So I bought it!"

"London!?" Malcolm asked in shock. "How the hell do you imagine that?"

"Well, you and I are going to London and see the concert there." Said Angus, beaming. Malcolm smiled a little.

"That was a really great idea, Angus. But you're 15 and I'm 17. How are we supposed to fly to London on our own? We need at least one adult for it. So ... " He handed the tickets back to Angus and looked at him sadly. "How about you ask Cliff or Phil if they would fly with you?" Angus looked at him in shock.

"But ... but Mal. We always wanted to see THE ROLLING STONES." Malcolm smiled.

"Yes. But as I said. We can't fly alone and since you paid for the tickets you'll probably have to fly with someone else. I'm sorry, Ang." Malcolm sounded extremely sad.

"Then ... then I'll give the tickets back." Angus said quietly. "I don't want to go there without you. I know you always wanted to go to a concert from them and ... I know you would be sad if I went there alone and leave you here." Malcolm smiled.

"It's okay, Ang. Fly to London and see it."

"No, Mal!" Wailed Angus. "I want you to come with me!" The front door opened again and Bon came in. He took off his shoes and walked over to them.

"What's going on here, guys?" He asked.

"I ..." Angus started to cry. "I wanted to go to a concert in London with Mal, but we need an adult. But I ... I only have two tickets." Bon looked at him encouragingly.

"Which concert, Ang?"

"Rolling Stones." Angus whispered in disappointment. Bon started laughing. "Why are you laughing?" Asked Angus, a little angry. Bon pulled a wrinkled ticket out of his pocket.

"Because of that. My sister just gave this to me. She's sick and can't fly because of it." Angus looked at the ticket and began to grin.

"What's going on?" Asked Malcolm.

"That's a bloody Rolling Stones ticket!" Angus shrieked happily. "So are we three flying?" Bon looked at Malcolm with a grin. Malcolm smiled.

"Yes, we three will fly there." Bon grinned.

"Yay!" Angus screamed and danced around a little. Malcolm giggled. Bon sat down on the sofa next to Malcolm.

"We have to plan all of this." Said the older Young. "Accommodation, how we get there, how we come back and so on."

"So. We book a flight to London. It won't be that difficult. I can arrange that in a travel agency tomorrow." Said Bon.

"We're NOT flying with British Airways!" Angus shouted immediately.

"Why?" Malcolm chuckled.

"Otherwise we'll just be late!"

"Then we need a place to stay overnight." Said the singer. "Do you know anyone in London?"

"Mh. No. But our grandparents live in Scotland." Malcolm said. "It's 7 hours from London to Glasgow."

"Isn't that a bit much?" Asked Bon, raising an eyebrow.

"When the concert is over, we don't care, right? And when we fly home, we can leave straight from Glasgow." Bon nodded.

"OK. So we don't have to pay the beds. How long do we stay there?"

"Around Christmas?" Asked Angus. "The flights during Christmas are usually fully booked and I want to see my grandparents." Bon nodded.

"OK. But ... then we have to rent a rental car that is waiting at the airport in London. We leave the suitcases in the car and go to the concert and if we drive seven hours we'll arrive sometime in the night, but that doesn't matter." The siblings nodded.

"How long will we be on the plane?" Asked Angus.

"One day." Malcolm said with a sigh. "With a stopover."

"Oh man." Angus wailed.

"No matter. The concert is in how many days? Three? That would be Friday." Said the guitarist. Bon und Angus nodded. "Well then we have to fly off on Thursday so that we can be there on Friday. And at Grandpa and Grandma's house we arrive more or less on Saturday morning. And Sunday is Christmas. Everything fits exactly." The three grinned. Bon and Malcolm went to book the flight and Angus happily packed his suitcase.
