                         MATCH DAY

The stadium started filling two hours prior to the match. Even though the Indian team had already qualified for the semis, the fans were still excited to see their favourite cricketer playing. The crowd was full of enthusiasm. A lot of people were seeing their first cricket match. The atmosphere was lively, and people were chanting different slogans in support of team India. Everyone was waiting to see their men in blue in action. Nia and Anya were there too, partly because they are huge cricket fans and partly because of their favourite ship, ISHMAN.

Players were stretching on the ground and completing their warm-up routines. They were relaxed, but not over confident about the match. In addition to their warm-ups, they engaged in playful banter. Rohit teased Virat about a prank he had pulled on him, while Virat tried not to tamper with Gill's balls. Ishan and Yuzi teased Hardik, and Rahul and Bumrah engaged in a serious debate about what is better Rasam or Sambhar.

In the stand, Anya was recording everything while Nia had her group chat on to give information about every minute detail, especially about the interaction between Shubman and Ishan, be it their stolen glances or shared laughter.

The match began with India batting first, and the crowd erupted with cheers as Rohit and Shubman took to the field. They both completed their half centuries by making 61 and 51 runs, respectively.

Meanwhile, Anya and Nia's cheers echoed through the stadium, their enthusiasm infectious as they cheered for their favourite players.

Virat also scored 51 runs, completing his half century, both Ishan and KL completed their centuries by making 128 and 102 runs, respectively.

With Team India's shared effort, they were able to put a total of 410 runs on the scoreboard.

During the break , Nia and Anya decided to explore the stadium, hoping to catch a glimpse of their beloved cricketers up close. As they wandered through the corridors, and saw a slightly ajar door.

Curiosity getting the better of them, they pushed the door open and found themselves in a secluded corridor. It was almost empty, except for some staff members who paid no heed to Anya and Nia as they were busy with their tasks. They both decided to retreat from there, and as they were about to return to the stand,they heard some voices.

Ishan was leaning against the table, responding to messages from both his manager and family. To His manager because Ishan had upcoming events he needed to attend, and to his family  because it was main Diwali Day.

Meanwhile, Shubman, in a playful mood, was giving a soliloquy that Ishan paid no attention to. To get his attention, Shubman decided to shower Ishan's face with kisses. He started by kissing his forehead, eyebrows then moved on to his left cheek, then tip of his nose and then his right cheek.

As Nia and Anya followed the voice, they found themselves standing in front of a door that was slightly open, as they were peeking in. They saw Shubman giving a peck on Ishan's lips. Nia and Anya froze in shock, their eyes widening in disbelief.

Ishan glanced up to find two sets of wide, shocked eyes meeting his own. As his eyes widened in response, Shubman noticed the change in Ishan's expression and turned to look at the door, Now his own expression mirroring Ishan's.

"It's not what it looks like, we can explain," panic was evident in Shubman's voice.

Both fangirls tried to form a sentence but failed, They were unable to believe what they had just witnessed firsthand.

A moment passed, with both parties remaining silent, the shippers, too stunned to speak, and the couple, too flushed and embarrassed to utter a word.

"Are you two dating?" Anya asked, recovering from her initial shock.

Both Ishan and Shubman were unsure whether to reveal the truth about their relationship or not. But When they  noticed the gleam in their eyes, they decided to tell  the truth.

"Yes," Ishan replied, somewhat hesitantly.

Anya and Nia gasped and looked at each other. As this new revelation registered in their brains, they both squealed with happiness.

Meanwhile, Ishan and Shubman were dumbstruck by their reaction.

"So, does this mean our ship has sailed?" Anya teased, winking playfully.

Ishan grinned, his nerves easing in the face of their lighthearted response. "Looks like it."

"Oh my freaking god, I can't believe you two are actually dating!" exclaimed Nia, unable to contain her excitement.

"We were manifesting this, and now it's actually happening!" exclaimed Anya in a high-pitched voice.

"What do you mean?" asked Shubman.

"It means we are your shippers, and we literally wanted you two to date. In fact, we were deluding ourselves into believing that you two are dating already, but that's not a delusion anymore." Said Anya.

"How could you two not know about your shippers' existence? You both liked so many Ishman reels!" asked Nia.

"Oh that.....We thought you guys are just shipping us as best friends and all those couple-y reels are there just to tease us" confessed ishan.

"No, we genuinely ship you two" Nia's voice was full of admiration.

"Please don't tell anyone," Shubman pleaded.

"Oh, come on. As if we're going to tell them that you two are dating, and people are going to believe it," Nia retorted.

"We didn't expect you to be this excited about knowing that we are dating," Ishan remarked.

"You've got to be kidding me. We even joked about kidnapping you both and then conducting your marriage" Anya added with a chuckle.

Ishan and Shubman relaxed, knowing that these two weren't here to judge them and not going to reveal their secret.

"How long have you been dating?" asked Anya.

"For more than three months," replied Ishan.

"No wayyy," exclaimed Nia and Anya simultaneously.

Ishan and Shubman shared a laugh, relieved to have the support of their fans and admirers. All four of them chatted for a while, and the awkwardness was long gone, making it seem as if these four were long-lost friends reuniting after years.

"Can we get pictures with both of you?" Nia asked hopefully.

"Yeah, sure," they responded.

After they were done clicking, Anya chimed in, "I want a picture of you two together." Ishan and Shubman stood side by side obeying her.

"No, no," Nia shook her head, then proceeded to place Shubman's hand on Ishan's shoulder and Ishan's hand on Shubman's waist. "Now it's perfect," Nia said, impressed by her work.

Both Shubman and Ishan blushed at Nia's boldness.

The break was about to end, so they expressed gratitude to Nia and Anya for their support and understanding. They truly appreciated having such incredible fans.

"You two are so Wattpad coded," Anya remarked, sending heart eyes to both of them.

"Wattpad?" Shubman inquired, not knowing the reference.

Before Anya could respond, Nia quickly covered Anya's mouth. "Um, she means you two look absolutely adorable together," Nia explained as she pulled Anya along with her.

The match continued with India dominating the opponent team. Even  Virat were given a chance to bowl. And to everyone's surprise, Virat managed to take a wicket with his unexpected bowling skills, sending the stadium into a frenzy.

As the night wore on, amidst laughter and celebration, Ishan and Shubman couldn't help but feel grateful for the unexpected turn of events.
