Mullai tries to wash herself to get rid of the dirt ..she badly wants Luke warm water..but it is a tedious process as there is no heater and they need to depend on gas heating..she can't wait ..she is shivering

so without second thoughts uses the cold water to wash herself.It was painstaking, her shivering seemed to worsen..she was in a mess.

She also had to wash her soiled clothes..she washed them as well.

Dhanam came to mullai, handed over her clothes and went back in.

Mullai could neither talk nor stand...she literally wanted to just change and retire to bed

She mustered all the energy she could, to grab the washed clothes and came out after changing.

She could barely walk and shivering did not seem to cease. She threw her clothes on the liner to them dry and moved forward to get in.

All the while, she hanged on to her breathe with the only thought that she could retire to bed immediately

Meanwhile kathir came out of their room after a change to the hallway and
Dhanam started her leftover conversation

He didn't want to narrate it to dhanam..he knows she will panick and that might disturb the peace at home.

He knows he needs to discuss this with his brother Moorthy and Jeeva the next day without the family getting involved in this.

And more importantly he did the right thing by informing the police station, he knew someone in the station.

So he informed them on the whole happening and that he will bring the chain to their custody the next day so that the debtor can pay the debt and collect it in their custody.. Otherwise they ll lodge an FIR and the debtor will be at stake..from there the issue was handed over to the police to deal with.

He did this quickly after he changed his clothes.

Kathir had this thought before pulling his chain. He was clear headed and knew what to do to have things going in the right way.

He also knows his brother Moorthy may not be happy with his act of bringing his chain as it might lead to problems if the debtor complaints. So with his forethought he sorted it upfront and he can now tell Moorthy and convince him.

He kept looking for mullai..he wanted to know if she is alright..it has been quite sometime she went to the backyard...

Dhanam noticed this and told him

Ey Enna pakara...ava innum varalena... Vandhuruva da...pinaadi thane poiruka...ava enna kuzhandhaya...

Dhanam smiled at her own wit, kathir didn't seem to have even heard it...

He looked a little worried and something bothered him...he was persistently looking for her.

Dhanam was confused on kathir being indifferent..

At that very moment, they heard some noise from the backyard...

They both rushed to the backyard and found her in a half collapsed state near the door ..outside..leaning on the wall

She was in complete shivers and was leaning with her saree folded around her...in a half collapsed state, her eyes were not lively..it seemed droopy.

The metal bucket she carried rolled off her hand and cried out loud to let kathir know she needed help.

Both were shocked to see her in that state.

Dhanam: mullai ..Enna aachu...achacho ipdi nadungudhey..

She pulled her up and helped her walk to their room.

Kathir was wound deep inside, he found himself in a quasi state and wasn't quite in this world...he followed them back to the room.

Mullai was burning up with high temperature. Dhanam gave her the medicines and made her lie in the bed.

After she settled a bit, Dhanam advised kathir to take good care of her over the night and left.

She left behind a much worried Kathir.😣😮
