This is written for a February month contest and it's about love... I have written a love poem in Kenning style, a riddle kind of poem. And, happily I have won special honorable mention for this month contest!

What is love? a Love poem was written in sonnet format without using the word Love...

A feel of utmost affection

To that of a simple pleasure

Ranging from various emotion

Felt not only while being in leisure

Feelings are to give

As it increases one's value

Gets filtered each time like in a sieve

Is there any more thing we can do?

Tenderness coercing through

All over the veins of the people

Catches the right one as they throw

Nothing is declared feeble

A strong powerful strength in the world

Can't be traded, as everyone gets turned

Let love live (for a peaceful world) is written in couplet format...

Colors of life

There is this beautiful strife

Lots of ups and downs

People still crowns

Connected to one another

With love rather than any other

Unity of love is something we crave

It ends only when we grave

Love holds such a powerful bond

Between the people with beautiful fond

Let's just ignore the grudge

It does nothing but pushes us to the edge

Revenge can lead us to the self havoc

Swinging our lives just like a hammock

Mold your life with just love

It's like a wand changing life to wow

A never-ending swirl of emotion

Vast like an ocean

See the goodness in everyone

Even if it means giving chances to one

Nothing is important than being kind

As it soothes our soul just like a wind

Love is all everyone craves for

It increases as we just outpour

Poem - 3 (Here, I introduce a new poetry format called as Kenning poem. It's like a riddle kind of poem where we use compound words in place of a simple word. We use either a noun or a verb to get the meaning to be specific.)

Falling in love

Heart - races
Mind - boggles
Stomach - churns
Breath - quickens
Lips - quivers
Starry - eyes
Soul - touches
Calmness - around
Anticipation - peaks
He - smiles
Finally in love!

I am happy that I came to know about this form of poetry. Actually, this poetry form is very interesting and can be even used for the riddle.
