I just got back from this concert. It was great!

My dad really likes Styx, and so we went to see them tonight at a local concert series. Blue Oyster Cult played before them, but we, unfortunately, missed their performance. I would have loved to see them.

They played Renegades and Blue Collar Man, which I was stoked about. Yes, I know they're hit songs, but that's not the only thing I know by them. I just happen to take a liking to it.

I saw my friend Haleyna and talked for a bit before parting outside of a Starbucks on the street the stage was set up on. Then I walked in and saw my friends Juliana and Alexis! I hung out with them for the rest of the show. They were so fun to hang out with, I haven't seen them basically all summer which sucks but hey, it can't be helped.

During the show we walked to the McDonalds also on this street and got fries and a cheeseburger. It was so fun. Then we jammed to the band until they were done, and they had to leave with Alexis' mom. I said goodbye to them and went back to my parents.

My parents and I walked up to the merchandise tent and saw they had a CD and DVD box set signed by the vocalist of Styx. We bought it and got a complimentary magnet. It was such a great night.
