So a music friend of mine, who has been in the music business for my age times three or four years, was raving about me on the stage at my local Italian Festival. He's such a kind man.

I was like "I'll sing something if I have a guitar." And so he asked his friends that we're going on stage next if I could do a song, and they said sure!

I didn't play until they were done with their set, and that was when almost everyone had left. Only a few people remained. Nonetheless, I got up on stage, asked people to please stay and listen for one more song, and played.

I played my original, Forget, because I couldn't think of anything I knew off hand. It went well though, and people really liked it. I had a great applause after I finished, despite not many people being there. I had mentioned my upcoming gig date and time for my band, and a few people said they'd try to come to it because they loved my voice.

It was a good night. I ate a brownie that I got from the festival when I got home. (:
