"Loch, Demigoddess of Halo'Waev" (a translated version of this chapter's title) is a Riversoul healer who was blessed with Halo'Waev's sacred healing powers, and thus also makes her the Riversoul goddess' only 'daughter' at this time. Loch is a gentle spirit who would never hesitate to heal your wounds, no matter how small, and with her extensive knowledge ranging from medicines to healing spells and even to the history of Harbnaezul, Loch is an intelligent being willing to share what she knows, if asked.

Loch, besides being ultimately docile and gentle unless truly necessary, is wise, intelligent (as explained,) attentive, selfless, modest, and restrained. Her brother, a ship captain and merchant named Brine, loves her deeply, and would not hesitate to shed blood for her, if someone were to come against her for any reason; despite this, however, he has been teaching the Arch-healer to be able to defend herself, lest she be caught unawares.

Loch loves to sunbathe, make medicines, read, swim deep in the Rivermend Sea, paying her respects to and speaking to Halo'Waev, spending time with Brine, and training herself to be a better wielder of Halo'Waev's sacred powers.
