"My parents want to see-"

"I know what you said but, what do they want with me?"

He brushed his hair out of his face before he sighed.

"Since you got in the news, I don't think we can go to Harrison High school anymore," He hastily explained.

"What?"

"I was supposed to be signed by the paparazzi. They shouldn't have even known where my house was but someone must have told them," Jax clicked his tongue.

"Then what school am I suppose to go to?"

"With me, to Oak West Academy."

"Are you fucking crazy?" I snapped. "I can't leave town!"

"Oak West Academy is like the school full of self-centered rich kids," I said. "No offense."

Jax kept quiet.

"Besides, that school is too far away from my house."

"That's why my parents wanted to talk to you," Jax interrupts. "Your parents are already there so don't be surprised when you see them."

"Wait," I said holding up a hand in suspicion. "So your parents are gonna talk about what?"

He sighs. "Staying with me until the paparazzi dies down which won't take until a month until its over."

I blinked at him before I laughed. "That's a good one!"

"Me staying with a jackass like you?" I bark out a laugh.

I clenched my stomach as I fell back on the luxurious, cozy seats laughing hard.

"This is serious shortcake."

I stopped laughing and quickly sat up, quirking my eyebrows at him. "Whoa. Whoa. Whoa"

"Hold on one flipping hippo motherfucking minute." I made my scrunch no- no face. "You think I forgot about what you said to me yesterday?"

I glared at him. "I know my parents won't say yes."

I continued. " But if they don't I'm turning down the offer because I can't stay with you nor be around you."

"So you can fucking suck Deez nuts for all I care," I blabber.

"Didn't know females had nuts."

"I do."

"No wonder you act like a man," He retorts.

I grabbed the collar of his shirt and pulled him closer to me. "What did you say?"

"Example number one," Jax says proving his point.

"I would have to let you know I took karate and boxing." I seethed narrowing my eyes up his level." I'm not afraid to kick your ass."

He just blinked at me. "Am I supposed to be scared or something?"

"Ugh," I say frustrated.

I let go of his collar before I sat back down in my seat. "Drive faster please and thank you!" I said crossing my arms, in aggravation.

Before you know it I was back where part of my headaches had started.

Jax house.

"Stop Jax."

"Stop kicking your legs," He pleads.

"I don't want you to touch me," My attempts to protest doesn't have any effect to Jax whatsoever.

So, I accidentally kicked him in his face.

"Fuck," He groans.

He turned away from me and I got out of the limo and the man who I guess was his bodyguard stood in between me and him.

I immediately regretted doing that. I didn't mean to kick him in the face.

He turned around and there was a cut a little above his eyebrows. It was bleeding a lot.

"I'm-"

He walks past me and walked towards the mansion.

"That was rude."

The bodyguard 'tsk' in response.

"You got something to say?" I huff.

I stepped toward him and he flinched. "N- No."

'Hm.'

The bodyguard and I walked close to Jax leaving our argument behind.

I slowly turn round to get a full glimpse of the outside of the mansion.

I gaped at the large mansion that set beyond the sidewalk, towering over me as if it was attempting to intimidate me.

The cream coating of the paint shined as the sun beat down on it, causing me to have to squint. Uniquely twisted fencing kept the house enclosed, neatly trimmed hedges surrounded the house. The roof was peaked, slanting down at an angle. The windows had royal purple curtains hanging on the other side of them, drawn so that the sunlight could stream through.

As I stepped onto the sidewalk, I noticed a marble fountain sitting towards the right side of the lawn. It had an angel holding a flower was perched on top, looking up towards the sky. Water spurted from its other hand, which lay gently out in front of it as if waiting for someone to take it in return. The water fell gently towards the crystal blue pool beneath it, causing ripples to form and wave out until they were no more.

"This is amazing."

"Try not to say anything," Jax sighs.

I turned around and couched into the crook of my elbow. "What do you mean?"

"Just don't say anything." He begs. 'Okay?"

"Just tell me what you want to say and I'll say it."

I shake my head. "Since when did I listen to you?"

"I'm serious." He clears his throat. "I don't want you talking to my parents nonetheless."

"Whatever," I said unbothered.

I walked away from them and they followed behind me. I opened the door leading inside the mansion.

"Brother," I heard a manly voice say. "Your-"

"What happened to you?" The handsome guy crossed his arms.

My mom turned around and crossed her arms and proceeded to glare at me. "Vanessa what did you do to him?" My mom says accusingly.

"Well," I trailed off. "I accidentally kicked him in his face."

"That's my girl," My dad said proudly.

My mom nudged him in his stomach. "I mean you shouldn't have done that." My dad groaned.

"I'm sorry," My mom apologizes. "She's usually a good girl-," She pauses. "Sometimes."

"She'll be no trouble with you," My mom kept her voice pleasant.

"Mom. Dad," I began. "You didn't already agree with me staying with them, did you?"

"Yes. We did," My mom said.

"Mom!" I protested. "You know what Alec did to me, don't you?"

"And why I hate guys so much!" I clenched my fists in anger.

"Vanessa. Don't forget who you're talking to," She kept her voice pleasant, but it still held an edge, razor sharp, threatening tone.

"We already agreed on it Vanessa and you'll have to deal with what we choose," My dad said shakily. "You'll be going to Oak West Academy, not for a month but, until the school year is over."

"This is fu-"

"What was that?" My mom cuts me off.

"Fudging stupid," I said correcting myself.

"Your daughter has remarkable grades and good looks," The handsome guy said flirtatiously.

"A-Are you trying to flirt with me," I beckoned.

"My apologies," He said. "What I mean was stunning looks." He continues. "She'll fit right in at Oak West Academy, I'm sure my parents wouldn't mind her staying with us."

"Thank you again," My mom said. "But don't forget If you don't bring my baby back, I'll kick your ass."

"Oh, Uh. Sorry," My dad says. "My wife is just cranky today."

"Pft. As. If," She replied.

"But I'm serious as well." My dad gruffs. "If I find out that one of you guys touch, dream, think, or look at her, I'll be your Freddy Krueger."

"Got it, son?" My dad said vainly.

"Of course Mr. Blake." He replies. "Don't worry about packing her things."

"Well be going now," My mom urges.

"Great," I said grumpily. "My life just keeps getting better and better."

"I love you so much Vanessa," My mom said as she embraced me in a comforting hug. "Call me every second of the day."

"Mom," I rolled my eyes.

"I'm sorry." She says. "I'm just gonna miss you so much."

"I'll miss you too mom."

"Miss. Blake, follow me please," The bodyguard said.

"Bye mom," I said releasing her.

"Bye sweetheart."

It was my dad's turn next." I'm gonna miss you, baby." He ruffled my hair and I smiled.

"I'm gonna miss you too dad," I said. "I love you."

My dad sniffs. "I love you too."

"Dad," Once again rolled my eyes. "Are you crying."

"Its sweat from my eyes."

"Sure, dad."

"Bye pumpkin."

"Bye, dad."

They left leaving me alone with the two boys. "I miss them already," I whined.

"There's no need to cry," He says.

"Where the hell is mom and dad Grey?" Jax urges.

"Brother dearest, you already know how they are," He starts. "They went to a meeting at last minute."

He shifts his attention to me. "How did it feel like to lose your virginity?"

"Excuse-"

"We didn't have sex together dumb ass," Jax intrudes.

"Shame on you," He tsk. "I'm going to go now."

"And way to be a pansy and get hit by a girl."

Jax punched Grey in his jaw and I gasped. Grey didn't fall on the ground but he spat blood from his mouth.

That gotta hurt.

Jax made his hair a bit messy as he let out a frustrated sigh as Grey left.

"So this is brotherly love?" I said trying to clear the tension.

He tries to leave. "Wait, what am I suppose to do?"

"Since when did you listen to me?"

"I'm bored you jackass."

"Just get ready." He trails off. "Just go down the left hall and go in any room. There should be girl clothes for you."

"Were leaving to go to the airport in a bit."

I walked around until I found a room where he directed. I walked into the closet where it had all the clothes you can imagine, starting from dresses to skirts to hats.

"This is supposed to be a closet?"

"This is the size of two time my bedroom,"I awed. "Maybe I should take out my braids for today."

I brush my hair smooth, pulling some to the front, draping it over my chest. Running a comb through my bangs so they look perfect.

Most of the stuff in the walk-in closet is filled with skirts and dresses so there weren't any options for tomboy-ish attire.

Where're the pants? Oh, I forgot.

"Rich kids don't wear jeans, they wear tight, sparkly dresses and stuff their ass to make it look big," I said in an overly exaggerated, cheerful tone.

"I'm just gonna wear a skirt or tights, I guess."

I searched and searched until I found the perfect outfit. A yellow ruffle layer blouse and knit leggings.

After a while, Jax and I got in the car and proceeded to drive to the airport.

It was silent and boring the only thing that could be heard is the traffic.

"You're not talking," says Jax. "Shocker."

"I just don't wanna leave my friends and my brother," I said timidly. "I-I can't believe I have to leave."

"And it's all your fault."

"Are you done with your delusional rant?" He pauses. "Just shut the hell up, okay?"

"Since when did I ever listen to you?"

I'm gonna make this ride a living hell.

I immediately started singing one of Drake's songs loudly and proudly.

"Did you notice that car behind us has been following us for a while?" Jax says suspiciously.

Dammit. He didn't flip out.

I looked at the rearview mirror to see what Jax was talking about and he was right. We saw the car since we got stuck in the traffic jam earlier.

"Tag me."

"What?" Jax replies weirdly.

"Move your ass," I hissed.

"What're you talking about?"

"Just switch seats," I rolled my eyes.

He glanced at me before he looked back on the road. "I'm not moving."

"Fine."

I climbed over and sat in between his legs.

"What the hell are you doing?" Jax bellowed.

"Ever heard of the need for speed?"

"Yeah. Racing game."

"Well, we're about to leave this sucker in the dust like I leave Freddy when he's playing the cop dust," I said as I glared at the black car. I couldn't see the person who was in the car but I could tell there were multiple people.

"Do you know how to drive?"

"Do you trust me?" I asked.

His hands staying on the steering wheel before he let go and I put my hands on it. "Oh, yeah."

"And I don't know how to drive by the way," Before he could say anything, I stomped my foot down on the gas pedal- and his foot- swerving from lane to lane.

"Slow down."

"I'm having to much fun!" I glanced at the rearview mirror and the black car was catching up to us.

"Turn right," Jax directed.

"What?"

His hands went on mine and my heart skipped a beat from the satisfaction of him touching me with his soft hands. He swerved around a car and made a big turn around a group of people on the right. It was like he was experienced at this.

I looked at the mirror again. The black car was right behind us, I squinted my eyes and looked at the person who was driving.

All I had seen was green eyes before Jax sped up, losing them.

"Talk about going too fast," I smirked.

Don't thing perverted. Don't think perverted.

"Just be quiet shortcake."

He swerved left and the tires screeched as he went around the corner. He sped forward and he turned the corner but he pulled in a dead end. "Fan-fucking-taskic."

I rolled my eyes as I stared at the wall in front of us. Jax pulled back and I ignored his hardness.

He gripped the steering wheel as we heard the engine coming closer from the black car.

"Hold the stick shift and put it in reverse when I say so," Jax deemed.

I clenched the stick shift. "This is the only time I'm listening to you."

"You listened to me more than once shortcake."

"I think its best if you shut the hell up before you won't be able to reproduce," I fumed.

The engine roaring was coming closer. "Just breath in and out."

"In and out," I said trying to calm myself down.

"Oh my strawberries," I looked straight ahead trying not to burst into laughter. "Cue the negative thoughts."

"Just be quiet," Jax demanded.

The engine was roaring loudly and any second we'd be trapped in this alley with who knows what?

"Jax," I warned him as I heard the engine.

"Wait for it," He said as he clenched the steering wheel and his foot getting ready to crash down on the gas pedal.

"Jax."

"Wait for it."

I bit my lips nervously as I looked at him in the mirror. He was looking at the mirror at the same time, he blue eyes were focused on me.

His eyes glistening in amusement and something else that I couldn't recognize. My heart was racing and ringing in my ears from the fact that he was watching me got me excited.

I noticed he didn't clean up the blood from his cut from earlier, it was still bleeding and some of the blood was dry. I snapped out of his gaze when I heard the engine.

"Jax!"

"Now."

I quickly pulled the stick shift 'R' and Jax smashed his foot down on the gas pedal. The car whipped out of the alleyway and I looked at the windshield because I know whoever was there was looking back at me.

Jax put the car back into drive before he pulled away and I blinked in astonishment as I looked at him in the rearview mirror.

I got up from my position and headed back over to my seat. After a while, we ended up at our destination.

"Ma'dame, Sir," The Russian man said.

"You have a wonderful Russian accent," I said.

His cheeks turned a faint pink. "T-Thank you Ma'dame."

"No one ever said something like zat to me," He responded.

"There's a first time for everything," I said politely." You sound like you would be an amazing Mafia boss."

"Zat is funny," He laughs. "Zhe iz wonderful."

Jax whispered something in the pilot's ear in Italian.

That's how he read that file. Speaking of that file, he never told me about what it said.

"Yes, Zir," The pilot replied while Jax walked off.

"Hey!" I shouted. "Jax! Where are you going?"

"Ma'dame. I'm sorry but you must go ahead inside ze plane." He directed. "He will go on after you."

"Alright."

I really want to ask him now.

I quickly took a seat on the plane waiting for Jax to show up. Not to mention that I got me a plate full of food.

"Excuse me miss I don't think you can eat all the Nutella and strawberries," The flight attended said.

Just then the flight attended turned her attention from me and said something that I couldn't completely pronounce.

"Mr. Delaurentis."

I turned around and Jax eyebrows furrowed from what the flight attended called him.

"Just and only call me Sir or Jax Hunter," He said coldly and bitterly.

"My apologies, sir." She said humbly. "I shall go now."

"So," I said quietly. "Delaurentis huh?"

"Same goes for you," He says sternly.

"My apologies master," I said in a high pitched tone as I curtsied.

"Don't call me that."

"You like it," I said pointing a finger at him. "That's really dirty."

The plane started to take flight and I started to stare out the window, watching my hometown get further and further away, watching all my friends go further and further away. Everything is going further and further away.

"Well," I trailed off. "To Oak West, we go."

The plane ride wasn't as long as regular planes. It only took us an hour and thirty minutes to get to Oak West. I was in a private jet.

Usually, on regular planes, it was about three hours and forty-five minutes.

I was rather impressed.

"Welcome to Oak West."
