Vlad TV Interview

It was a sunny day in Downtown LA, which was the norm. Bright, sunny clear blue skies with fluffy white clouds dancing around in the California sky. Beautiful tall, green palm trees swayed in the slight breeze above the busy streets of Los Angeles as cameras flashed in different directions with people screaming at the top of their lungs:

"Oh...Ice Cube and Rih look over here!"

"They are the perfect couple and Y'all so fucking dope!"

"Damn homie! Can't wait to see your movie tomorrow!"

Cube climbed out of the white escalade that gleamed brightly under the luminous skies.

[Wassup Big Homie Cube]

"Much Love man", Cube acknowledge the screaming fans as their security paved way for them to walk into the business building.

Dressed in a black button-down Dickies shirt, Black Levi 504 Jeans and a pair of crisp black and white converses while being topped off with a Raiders snapback, Cube was relaxed and ready for this interview.

"You good baby?", Cube questioned Rih as he held his hand out to help her out the truck.

Rih nodded as she adjusted her Balenciaga oversized frames on her face.

[ Well...Hello Gorgeous Rih]

"Yeah baby. I'm good. Thank you", she cracked a small smile as she placed her palm into Cube's.

Sporting a black see-through top with true religion shorts and a pair of chunky high heel Jeffery Campbell's shoes, Rih was ready for paparazzi all while being, cool, sexy yet edgy. 25 years of marriage and counting was real relationship goals of Rih and Cube. They literally came from nothing to something together.

A'Rihana Jackson who is a known for her high-fashion line, Galore has taken not only Los Angeles and her home town, New York City by storm but other fashion capitols such as London, United Kingdom, and Milan. Rih also has a fragrance line, Lala by Rih in remembrance of her best friend and sister, Shayla Wright which has become one of the best-selling fragrances of the year; as voted by Elle and Seventeen Magazine. She has stood by her Hip-Hop, film director and actor Icon husband also known as Ice Cube.

Once entering the building together hold hands, they were both greeted by the receptionist who led them to the interview space. It was a busy month for Rih and Cube. They have been running around preparing for the premier of Straight Outta Compton. From interviews, appearances in New York on Good Morning America and special guests on the Breakfast Club, they were finally wrapping it up and ending with an interview by Vlad the day before their movie premier.

"Wassup man?", Vlad cheesed as he dapped Cube up and patting his back. "Hello A'Rihana", he smiled as he reached to give her a hug.

[ The nosy man himself : VLad TV * his interviews be good af tho ]

"Just call me Rih boo", Rih giggled as she pulled back from their embrace.

"I know you guys had to walk through all the commotion y'all caused out there", Vlad smiled as he walked in front of Rih and Cube towards the seating area where they would be filming.

"Yeah. I didn't even know that many people were going to be out there" Rih said as she took her frames off her face and placing them in her bag.

"You guys want to get any refreshments before we start or do you guys want to jump right into it", Vlad questioned as his eyes diverted back and forth between the couple.

Rih looked at Cube before doing a double take at the table. The long white table held breakfast entrees, croissants, fruit platters, pop tarts, orange juices as well as apple juices and steaming hot breakfast sandwiches and a Keurig that had assorted flavors ready to be brewed.

"I mean..." Rih said with a slight smile. "I could use a few of those croissants and that pecan roll over there"

Cube shook his head and grinned. "Go head with yo greedy ass"

Rih happily walked off towards the table with her iPhone Rose Gold 6Plus in her hand. "Good cause Jr calling me so I'ma talk to him before we do this interview" she replied calling back to Cube.

"Guess we'll just wait for the misses", Vlad Smiled as he plopped down on the red chair that sat adjacent from the window where the sun shined through.

•The Interview Part 1 •

Vlad: "Okay, So I'm here with Ice Cube of one the most iconic names in hip-hop and film history and his high fashion designer wife, A'Rihana "Rih" Jackson. How y'all feeling today?"

Rih: * looks at Cube* "I guess we straight, right bae?"

Cube: *Rubbing Rih's hand softly* "Yeah, we good feeling good out here in LA. You know?"

Vlad: *Nodding behind camera* "True, true it's good to have you guys here today. Too bad we couldn't get the whole N.W.A Posse in here today. Speaking of N.W.A; where's Eazy?"

Rih: "Eazy couldn't make it. He's at his daughter E'mani cheerleading meet at her school"

Vlad: "Oh really? What school is she attending now?"

Rih: "She followed in her mother's footsteps and she attends UCLA and taking up a science major" * Smiles brightly*

Vlad: "Now, I know Eazy and you guys must be really proud of her"

Cube: "Oh, you already know. That's my niece/god daughter. I'm damned proud of her and I know her mother would be too"

Vlad: "Yeah man, but jumping right into things your movie drops tomorrow. How it feels to have a biopic on you? You were a part of the world's most dangerous group"

Cube: "Man, I'm real excited and I can't wait for the world to get a glimpse inside of me and the homies journey. All the shit we been through growing up as a black male in the streets of south central to the whole rap group thing. It was a process, a long ass process damn *laughs* but it was worth it. You'll see tomorrow"

Vlad: "I've actually got to see some clips at a prescreening right before coming here to do the interview."

Cube: *Raises eyebrow* "How is that?"

Vlad: "I ran into Dre yesterday and he gave me a little pass to see some of the clips. I wish it was the whole movie but you will definitely see me at the premier tomorrow to witness all of it."

Rih: *Rolls eyes and laughs* "Fucking Dre. Always doing something like damn sit-down bro"

Cube: *Nods head and chuckles * "I mean, since you see some parts, whatchu thinking?"

Vlad: * Excited* "From what I seen man, it was like really fucking awesome. I-I feel how authentic and raw it is like It had me feeling like I was back in the eighties and I was hearing straight outta Compton for the first time again. It really took me back man.

Cube: "That was the feeling we tried to deliver you know and truthfully that shit that went on back then still goes on today, which is really fucked up. The whole police brutality, racism. All that shit man, still happening today."

Vlad: "Right, yeah yeah definitely. So, going back to when everyone first linked up. *smiles* what was that like?"

Rih: * Smacks forehead* "Oh God"

Cube: * Laughing and looking at Rih* "You wanna tell the story cause you know if I tell it- "

Rih: "Nah nah nah, I'll tell it cause you be so damn extra man * giggles and sits up straight* Alright, so you know we ended up in Cali at Shayla's cousin house, Kim and she was telling us about a house party and whatever so we ended up going and it was me and Shayla first time being out there and when I say their whole image was DIFFERENT" *starts laughing*

Vlad: "Like how? Like I am interested to get your view on what was different bout the Cali image"

Rih: "Like, you know I'm from Queens New York so this was the eighties and where I'm from they were rocking the Kangol hats, the big Cuban link chains, the medallions, Adidas track suits, four finger rings. Then I get to Cali and I see fucking raider gear, big ass flannel plaid shirts, and them damn Jerri curls * Busts out laughing* like they had the pants...the umm Dickie Pants with that hard ass crease in it like, I thought all these niggas out here was related."

*Cube and Vlad Laughing*

Cube: "C'mon *waves Rih off* that shit was fly. You trippin girl. Aint nothing like having a new LA Sox and Raider hat on ya head that had the fresh new Jerri Curls with the curl activator drippin"

Rih:" That shit was wack baby. I'm sorry"

Cube: "I got you though *Winks* You must of liked something about me"

Rih: "BOY! Whatever "*Laughs* but anyway we get to the party and that was the first time I met Dre. He was DJing and like literally soon as I walked in I was being fucking grabbed by some boy and it was so crazy like I remember 2 Live Crew being scratched up in the background and it was so lit in there, everyone dancing and shit so I didn't give a fuck who I was dancing with at that point. So, when the song was over. I see this lil light skinned, Jerri curl joint with a pout on his face like * Looks at Cube * What you pouting for? you just got some ass rubbed all on you."

Vlad: "You was mad that the dance was over?" * Laughing and looking at Cube*

Cube: "Hell Yeah! I was mad as hell like I just grabbed a nice little tender with the lil fluffy dancing all on me!"

Vlad: *Laughing* "You got a point."

Cube: "Yo that's what you have to do, grab her. Not let her sit on the wall or let some other mark dance with something I wanted."

Vlad: "So, I know that you guys tied the knot April 26,1992"

Cube: "Yeah, yeah that's right."

Vlad: "And you two got four kids together. And your oldest O'shea Jr is playing a younger you in the biopic"

Cube: "Yeah it's amazing to see my son play a younger me, even though his mother was against it at first * looks at Rih*

Rih: "I just didn't want my son exposed to this lifestyle so quick. Yeah, he is an adult now but he's always going to be my baby and I aint want all them lil chicken head hood boogers all on my baby like my hands still work * Cracks Knuckles and laugh* but all jokes aside, I'm glad that he did play his father because he captured the true essence of what his dad was like back then, you know?'

Vlad: I totally understand cause Hollywood will chew you up and spit you out kind of shit"

Rih: "Exactly * nudges Cube* See he gets me baby"

Cube: "Mmhm"

Vlad: "But Rih I wanna ask you a little bit of questions you know. Umm this past March has marked 20 years that your best friend, also Eazy's wife Shayla has been gone. From uh, passing away from complications of birth and dying with the Aids virus"

Cube looked at Rih who suddenly shifted in her seat and nodded. She pressed her lips together and inhaled deeply while reaching for Cube hand and holding it tightly. She knew that these questions were coming, but to think about it makes her still a little emotional.

Vlad: I'm sorry, do you need a minute"

Cube: "Baby. You good? If you need a minute we can stop"

Rih: * Nods head* "I'm good. But umm, Shayla yeah its marked 20years since she departed from us. We had a candle lighting for her and a memorial cook out for her at Eazy's parents house in Compton"

Vlad: "Yeah. I had seen Eazy earlier that day like he had on a t-shirt with their pictures and you know the whole R.I.P thing. I actually met their daughter too, it's really funny to see how she looks like the both."

Rih: "Yeah, Eric's big ass nose and ears which she grew into nicely and everything else is Shayla's" * Laughing a little*

Vlad: "I mean she's a pretty young lady and I know Shayla would be proud. I remember meeting her one time up In New York. She was by the Jamaica Coliseum with I think Eazy's mom. I didn't know that his mom would leave Cali"

Rih: *Blinking quickly * "Yeah, she and Eazy mom decided they wanted to have a girl's weekend but I couldn't come cause I just had O'shea Jr and umm...Yeah, Shayla she was my best friend. Like, blood couldn't have made us any closer."

There was a brief silence. Rih then took out a pack of tissues from her purse and began dabbing her eyes gently. She was thankful that she wore waterproof mascara today. Her lips trembled as she caught her tears with her napkin.

Rih: *Stands up and walks away * Excuse me for a second, I thought I could do this...

But be mindful, there will be chapters in this book involving the cast of Straight Outta Compton but it will mainly focus on Interviews by your favorite characters.

This book is a little unorthodoxed so bare with me. I dont normally write my books in third person view or interview so dont fry my ass LOL Work with me here okay?

Lastly, I WANT YOU SUPPORTERS TO EITHER PM ME OR WRITE IN THE COMMENTS SOME QUESTIONS OR "WHAT IF" SCENARIOS TO HELP ME WITH MY BOOK. I WANT YALL TO ENGAGE.
