Chapter Nine, Storms brewing
"What about Scorpious if it's a boy?" Draco asked as he ran one hand soothing through Honor's hair the other holding her on her stomach as they cuddled on the sofa. Honor laughed scrunching up her nose. "I don't think so Draco. I don't want our son to be named after an insect even if it is a constellation."
"What do you think then?" Draco asked not at all disgruntled she didn't like the name. "Hmm. What about Jasper Lucas Potter-Malfoy and Amara Lillian Potter-Malfoy?" Honor asked. "Or Grayson Riley Potter-Malfoy and Charlene Meadow Potter-Malfoy? Though Jasper and Amara are favourite." Honor hinted with a smirk on her face and her eyes glinting mischievously.
"Oh, is it now?" Draco asked trying to hold back his smile.
"Hmm Hmm." Honor agreed grinning shamelessly.
"Well then. It's a good thing that I like them as well isn't it?" Draco asked kissing her temple.
"Really?" Honor asked curiously.
"Really my love." Draco agreed. "When have you ever known me to agree to something I didn't want to." Honor had to agree to that Draco has never done anything he didn't want to do.
"So, have you two decided on names yet?" Blaise asked that Saturday afternoon where he, Theo, Luna and Neville had decided to spend the day with their friends in their private quarters instead of going to Hogsmede. They were all currently crowded around the coffee table that had been laden down by butterbeer, Honeydukes sweets, exploding snap and Wizards chess. Dobby had told Sirius and Remus what he'd heard and they'd requested Honor and Draco to stay in their rooms while they try and sort it out so they had sent Dobby to Hogsmede for the drinks and sweets when their friends had arrived.
"Maybe." Honor smirked as she ate a chocolate frog. Blaise, Theo and Neville groaned. "Honor!" Blaise complained as she and Luna giggled, Luna once again knowing before anyone else. "They're lovely names Honor." Luna giggled.
"Draco?" Theo fried his friend instead but only groaned when he just smiled at them. "Fine. Fine." Honor giggled. "We've decided on Jasper Luca Potter-Malfoy and Amara Lillian Potter-Malfoy. And we'd like you all to be Godparents." She smiled shocking their friends.
Draco and her had discussed it last night after they went to bed. They wanted to make sure their children had a good support network in case anything happened to them with the upcoming war. They didn't want their children to grow up the way their mother had. "Really?" Neville asked a tad overwhelmed.
"Of course Nev." Honor smiled. "You're my God-brother and you and Luna are my best friends, family as well as Blaise and Theo now and there is no one else we want or trust to raise our children if anything happened to us."
"We'd love to Honor." Theo agreed with the rest of their friends nodding in agreement. "But nothing is going to happen to you, either of you. We'll make sure of that."
"We appreciate that Theo but we don't know what Dumbledore is planning and we don't know how fathers talk with the Dark Lord will go either. We just want to be prepared." Draco sighs as he held Honor closer to him, he didn't want to think about losing his fiancée the love of his life it was too painful. "Right. Enough of this depressing talk." Blaise said as he handed out more Butterbeer and chocolate frogs. "I think I was winning at Exploding snap Potter."
"Err, I don't think so Zabini. I think you'll find I was." Honor disagreed as she relaxed slightly and continued their game.
Draco sent his best friend a thankful look as he saw the tension drain out of her by the minute. He knew the stress was not good for her or the babies but it was troubling not knowing what their outcome would be. But he knew they'd figure it out eventually given the support they had from their own family and friends. They'd soon stop the two mad-men in their lives and hopefully soon.

Dumbledore paced up and down in his office throwing his trinkets across the room. His planes were unwavering palms that had been heard in the making. No, he wouldn't let it come to that not at all. He had to get his pawn back on his side. It was vital and he'd do whatever he could to make it happen. He stopped his pacing as a devilish plan came to mind, one that would surely work. "Yes, that might just work." Dumbledore mused to himself a malicious gleam in his eyes a grin forming on his weathered face. "I'll have to be careful. But yes that's just the thing I need to get things back where I need them to."
