"She has a child, Rohit. She has a fucking child. That's not possible." Virat hissed. He couldn't believe this had happened.

To him. To them.

"Virat, she told it to you. What more do you need to believe it? She's married and she has a child." Rohit told him making Virat shake his head.

"I need to talk to her. I don't care how..I need to." Virat mumbled.

He had to explain himself. He had to do something. For four years he had been thinking that one day, he will explain her everything. That couldn't be sabotaged now.

"And what are you gonna say huh? Are you gonna say sorry Eira. I'm still in love with you?" Rohit questioned. He was frustrated with his friend too. How dumb was Virat being? What was the point of going after a girl that had moved on already? Couldn't he just forget her?

Was that so damn hard?

"No, I'm just gonna tell her why I did what I had to do." Virat replied and poured himself a glass of whiskey.

Rohit chuckled and gave a sarcastic response. "And she'll say it's alright and you'll be bestfriends."

Virat took a deep breath and gulped down the whiskey down his throat. He looked at Rohit and then looked down again.

"Rohit. Look, when I saw her..for a minute it felt like I had gotten my life back. That the light that was missing is back again. I have to see her again."

He told him, trying to explain his side of the story. Without Eira, he felt like he was just surviving. Not living. And it was crazy, to feel that way.

He hated the men who would just change because of a girl or remain hung up over past love, and yet here he was, he never even realised that he had became one of them.

Rohit clasped Virat's shoulder.

"Virat, you've already done enough damage." He told him.

"I've been damaged too, Rohit. Why do people forget that?"

"Because she's not the one who broke up through a fucking letter." Rohit burst out.

Their conversation was suddenly turning into an argument.

"You think I'm not guilty?" Virat shot back.

"Ofcourse you are. I know how much you love her Virat, but you need to let it fucking go."

Rohit said, trying to put some semse into Virat. Ritika then came towards them, sitting on the couch.

"Virat, Rohit is right. She's moved on, you should too." She suggested softly. Her tone was polite and sensible.

"What if I can't? I haven't moved on in four years, how will I move on now?" Virat questioned her back.

"Maybe you need some closure, Virat. Let me give it to you. She got married to Faris three years ago, and she even has a child now. Do you think she'll leave it all for you?"

And here it was. Another person reminding Virat that she was married. Heck, he knew she was married. He knew it when he went to the reception and asked about their suite, he knew it when Eira opened the door in the most casual attire, he knew it when Eira said she had a child. He knew all of that, but why was it so hard to admit that to himself?

"Maybe she won't, but I have to try. I have to atleast talk to her..maybe I'll get that closure you keep talking about."

Virat mumbled.

"She won't ever agree to meeting you, I don't know her and yet I can assure this." Ritika waited for Virat to answer after her response. He finally spoke up.

"As far as I know her, she will come to meet me. She just needs a good persuasion. We just have to find out what that could be."

On the other side, Faris had just entered the suite, it took him a long time to finish the meeting. It was almost three, Eira had gotten dressed up, she had changed and gotten Hani ready too.

After Virat left the suite, Eira had decided that if she stayed in the room any longer, she would keep over thinking every thing that had happened. So she had taken out Hani for breakfast to a nearest cafe. She hadn't had the time to explore Mumbai alot, but she found the food really amazing. It had the same spice in it as their food back in Lahore.

She had a desi breakfast. A really heavy meal that is. After the breakfast she had roamed around in the nearest mall, it had been a good day.

Even if the start reminded her of the past. If she didn't think if affected her, it wouldn't affect her, she had thought.

When Eira came back home, she was tired and so was Hani. So she had put him down for a nap.

Faris' facial expressions were hard and rigid, potraying anger. His eyes were distant and cold. He looked at Eira and then moved his eyes around for his son.

"Where's Hani?" He questioned, without looking at him.

"I put him down for a nap just now," She answered and sensing Faris' bad mood, she asked him, "You okay?"

"Are you okay?" Faris shot back instead.

"Yeah, why shouldn't I be?" Eira questioned with a frown. What crawled up his ass today?

"Oh I don't know maybe because you met your ex fiance yesterday and didn't tell me about it." Faris said, in a cold tone.

He didn't like that Eira had hidden it from him. When you hide the truth, it means there was a reason behind it.

Faris didn't want to find that reason.

"Faris, it was nothing." Eira shrugged it off.

"Nothing? Then why did you act so shaken up yesterday Eira? You couldn't breathe." Faris accused her.

God, she should have told him.

"Because I got overwhelmed Faris-"

"I don't even care about him affecting you, I know what you feel. I just don't understand why you lied to me about it." He tried to remain understanding about it but it's hard to do that when you're a possessive person in general.

"Technically, I told you half the truth." Eira said with a small weird smile.

"Don't twist it Eira. You lied and then used me for sex to forget him?"

Faris growled angrily this time. He felt used. And he didn't like it one bit.

"What? No! It's not like that." She exclaimed.

"It is like that." He yelled.

If he was angry about this so much, what would he do when he found out Virat came here in the morning?

Eira did not want to find out.

"You know damn well I never lie to you." Eira said, there were a few tears in her eyes.

"And yet you lied to me about him for the first time. Really shows how much control he still has over you."

With that, Faris walked out of the room once again.
