Kate's POV

    I slowly opened my left eye to basically be blinded with a bright white room. I squinted my eyes shut before I even considered opening them. I slowly opened my eyes and looked around the conference room. And this time it was filled with people. I slowly looked around every person I looked at, another jolt of fear struck my body. Joker, Penguin, Killer Croc, Harley Quinn, Ivy, My Mother...My Father, and even those poor guards I had seen the first time I was here. I was about to start yelling random crap along the lines of:

"You made a big fucking mistake of bringing here you GARDENING TOOLS!!!"

    But when I tried to yell, all that came out were some muffled grunts. I Struggled a bit to see that my arms and legs were tightly secured with scratchy ropes, and my mouth was concealed in a gag. I glared at everyone of them mentally flipping them all off.

"Miss me sweet cheeks" I heard my Father coo from the other end of the table.

    A mixture of angry grunts escaped the probably dirty cloth that was probably used on many other people. I immediately shivered at the thought. Everyone around me started laughing at me, and my Father folded his hands down in his lap signaling for them to stop.

"Thought you could escape?" He raised his eyebrow at me.

"Not surprised, she is with the bats" Ivy shrugged.

    I rolled my eyes at sat back in my 'chair' trying to tune them out as much as possible My Father on the other hand was not satisfied with what I was doing. He raised his hand a bit and pointed towards me, as if he wanted me to do something. I felt the gag around my mouth loosen, and I took that chance to spit on the nearest person I could right away. That unfortunate person happened to be Penguin sitting to my right..

"Why you ungrateful little-" He started smacking my shin with his purple and black umbrella.

I cringed my face a little before mumbling something under my breath.

"Walking Big Mac" I quietly mumbled.

The person sitting to my left was Joker, and he nodded his head in agreement.

"Can't argue against that!" He chuckled.

    I sighed and leaned back in my chair waiting for the 'big bad' man himself to speak to me. I was tired of what he was doing.

"We need you for the plan to work", started my Father.

"What plan?! I demand to know!", I demanded.

"Well, you see, we are going to force you to betray the Batsy, so that when we go to take over the world, we won't have any setbacks or distractions.", He explained.

I furrowed my eyebrows in frustration.

"You'll never get away with it!", I confirm. I had faith in Damian, Batman, Tim, Jason, Dick, and Shae. They would never think that I would be doing this on my own terms.

    My father whispered something to Joker, and with that, he left the room. Once he came back, he was carrying some sort of gas mask and tank. He set it down next to me and motioned for my father.

"What the hell are you doing?!", I asked hesitantly.

"We are going to erase your memory of this conversation!", chuckled the Joker.

"Well then If I will forget this conversation then I won't regret this!" I smirked.

They all raised their eyebrows in question.

"F*CK YOU ALL!!!!" I hollered at the top of my lungs.

They all shrugged, and Joker got closer to me with the gas mask.

Oh No...

*Damian's POV*

    I sat in my room, thinking of all the possibilities of where Kate could be. She was probably in danger, in need of help. Not that she was weak, just that whoever took her had to be strong, or else they would have never gotten away.

C'mon Damian, THINK!, I thought. Suddenly, it hit me.

    I flew out of my room and sprinted down the stairs. I looked on the couch, nothing. I looked in the kitchen, nothing. Finally I looked in her room. There Shae was, sitting on her bed jamming out to what I thought were Pop Hits, and typing away on her computer. I knocked on the already opened door. Her head shot in my direction and she immediately pulled out her headphones.

"Hey Damian! What do you need?", Shae asked concerned. I never went into her room unless it was an emergency. Suddenly, Dick walked out of her bathroom, buttoning his pants. He looked up.

"WOAH!", He shouted running back in, probably trying to conceal his embarrassment.

"Grayson, get back in here.", I demanded.

He stepped timidly out of the bathroom, trying to conceal his red face with his hands.

"I think I might know where Kate is, but I need Shae's help.", I started. She immediately took her attention off Dick and gave it to me.

"What do you need?", she asked with worry.

"I think her Father took her. I think her father took her back to where she was with you, when he was going to 'sacrifice' you and what not. Since you have experience with this... layer... I'm going to need you to tag along.", I explained. Shae nodded her head and walked to her closet to get her new stealth suit. 

    I had requested Alfred to make her one because I knew that she would be needing it. She grabbed it and went back to her bed and started to take off her shirt, but stopped when she remembered that it wasn't just Dick who was in the room.

"OOPS! Sorry!", She apologized and trudged into the bathroom after smiling at Dick. After she closed the bathroom door, I decided to tease him.

"OOOO Grayson! Looks like somebody's hunting the whales!", I chuckle.

"Oh shut up!", he hid his, yet again, red face. "You have to admit though, she's a great girl!"

"What was that?", Shae said opening the door and revealing her new apparel. The suit was skin tight, yet stretchy to allow movement. I looked over at Grayson to see he was... well... gazing at her. I punched his arm. It took him a few seconds to snap out of his trance.

He blinked his eyes a few times . "Sorry...", he cowered.

Shae walked over to him and hugged him tightly.

"Don't worry about me. I'll be back soon... I hope.", She sighed.

"Actually, I was thinking Nightwing could come too! You know... the more backup we have, the merrier!", I reassured. He lit up like a Christmas tree.

After we were all changed, we headed out to 'the layer'. I hope that Kate wasn't hurt already.
