Sanskar was shocked.  Laksh's words were more like a statement than a question.  A "how" escaped him.

Laksh kinda got a picture of what's happening.

Lak: So is it something like you love her,  even though the relationship is fake? 

Sanskar nodes.

San: I...  I don't know.. When and how.. It just happened.  We both were literally fed up with the proposals we used to get.    Both of us were not looking for any kind relationship.  That's when this clicked us. Why can't we fake it?  We are friends,  we know everything.  So we will tell others that we are in love.  So none will hit on us. But then it changed for me.  Even though fake,  when they started addressing Ragini as my love,  my subconscious mind started accepting it.  Then I started to feel for her in real...  I...  I tried to control,  but...  But tell me how did you find it? 

Lak: it's not some mystery that I had to find it. Your eyes said it all.

Sanskar was even more shocked.

San: The,  then does Rags too...

He gulped.

Lak: Dude I am not a mind reader.  But I guess not,  if not it's high time she questions you.

LakSan laugh!! 

Laksh couldn't help but feel good.  Even though Sanskar loves her she doesn't.  His heart was getting excited.

Lak: So are you planning to propose her? 

Laksh felt some kind of a pain in the heart. But he ignored it. 

San: I don't know.. I am confused. I don't think I can handle her rejection.  Also if she rejects. I will not just lose my love,  but my friend too. Her friendship is so important for me, I don't want to lose it.  But I also know, if I back off due to fear of rejection,  I would lose her even before trying.  I am totally confused.  I wanted to share it with one of you.  But I was scared.

Laksh patted his back.  He was in a dilemma.  One part of him want Ragini to reject Sanskar,  but other parts want her to accept her.  He needs both of them and their happiness. 

Lak: As of now,  let things go as it's going.  Once you feel you can't hold it anymore,  propose her.  There will come such a point where you can't hold your feelings anymore.  You proposing Ragini will be a turning point.  Either you gain her forever or...

Sanskar startled.  He doesn't want to miss her at all.  But Laksh is right. 

San: I guess you are right. 

Laksh smiles.  Sanskar continued taking down notes.

Laksh's mind and heart were dwelling.

Heart " slow claps for you fool. You want Sanskar to propose her. Then what about you idiot? Don't you love her? "

Mind " Dare you to question my feelings for her.  I love her and you know it."

Heart" That's why you want him to propose and you are not doing it! "

Mind" Who said I won't propose? I would only if he rejects her! "

Heart " what,  why do you want to do so? "

Mind " Sanskar too loves her and he is always a better option for her than me.  He is much better a person.  But then whom to love,  it's her decision. If she feels for him,  then she will accept him and if she doesn't she won't.  If she does, I love her enough to let her go.  And if not,  I will try to gain her."

Heart " So you will propose her? "

Mind "Only if she rejects Sanskar. "

Heart "fine".

Laksh sighs.  The went on.

Next day:

Laksh woke up a bit more happily.  His heart was rejoicing over the fact that Ragini doesn't love Sanskar.  Till yesterday he backed off thinking she is someone else's.  But now he knows it's not true.  He now wants to impress her and gain her.

College :

Class:

Laksh was having a hard time to control himself from not staring at Ragini.  He sighs.  Laksh was not able to take down notes.

"Stupid idiot fool,  today if you don't take your notes,  what excuse you will give your friends to take their notes. So stop all these non-sense and concentrate on board. Huh!"

Laksh scolded himself and started concentrating again. 

Later when Ragsan started to practice Laksh left for library and Mauhaan went along with Ragsan. 

Sanchi has made friendship with Sanskar now and she too never misses any of his practise sessions. 

Things went like this.  Now it's only 4 days left for the first level of competition.  It was the last day of practice for Ragsan and they wanted their throat to rest and not have any trouble during the performance. 

After lunch:

Lak: OK,  see you all later I will be

Rag: In the library.

Ragini completed the sentence for Laksh. She was fuming.

Laksh sighs.

Lak: Ragini,  please I have found some exciting books over there

Rag: huh, I know how exciting books can be!! 

Lak: of course you don't,  that's why you are saying this! 

Rag: oh,  I forgot,  for you, books have become your love!! 

Lak: WHAT!! 

Rag: huh,  what's there to get shocked!  I said the truth only.  You run after books like Romeo.  And there at the Library, your Juliets are waiting for you! 

Laksh blinked his eyes. 

Lak: It's useless talking to you.  I will be back.  You guys carry on.

Rag: You are not going alone.  I am coming.  I really want to see how exciting your Juliets are!!

She held Laksh's hand and started taking him to the library.

San: Rags our practice! 

Rag: (turning back)  You do solo today! 

Sanskar sighs!
