It's Saturday and I am back with the next update😀😀😀!!!

"BUT THAT ONE NIGHT, THAT ONE NIGHT CHANGED THE RELATIONSHIP THAT I & DEV SHARED FOREVER"

As soon as Misha said that a fear gripped Sonakshi's heart as questions began to cloud her mind. Were Dev & Misha only friends? Was there more than what was meeting the eye? What happened that night that Misha was talking about? A lump formed in Sonakshi's throat while Misha kept silent for a few moments and then spoke again.

"I remember the events of that night crystal clearly even today, it's as if all that had happened just yesterday" she said as Sonakshi looked on waiting for Misha to continue.

"It was my childhood friend Shrishti's birthday. Though I am not a much of a party person but Shristhi was adamant on celebrating her birthday along with me and her boyfriend Deep. I could not deny her as after my parents she was the only person whom I could call as family and I did not want to disappoint her. So that evening after work we three had decided to head out to a pub. It was around 9 in the evening when we reached there. Shrishti and Deep headed to the dance floor while I was sitting in a corner sipping my drink, suddenly my vision fell on the Bar counter" said Misha as her thoughts went back to that day......

As Misha's eyes fell bar counter a scene unfolded before her. She could she a man slumped on the Bar counter while a girl & another man probably the manager of the pub were trying to wake him up, her eyes went back to the man who seemed unaware of the efforts made by both to get him back in his senses, though she could not see the man's face based on the body structure she felt she had seen the man before. She got and headed towards them, as she reached them she heard.

"Dev, Dev please get up, It's getting late" said the girl while at the same time the Manager tried as well "Dev Sir, Dev Sir..." as she heard them for a minute Misha was surprised, was the person her boss Dev or was it someone else.

"Excuse me, is there a problem?" asked Misha as she reached them while the manager and the girl turned towards him.

"Actually Ma'am, he's sozzled and not in his senses so we are trying to wake him up" said the manager as Misha looked at who the person was, as soon as she saw his face she was stunned into silence because right in front of her was none than her boss, DEV DIXIT.

"Dev Sir" she said as the manager and the girl looked at her surprised.

"You know him?" asked the girl as Misha looked at her and said "Yes, he is my Boss, DEV DIXIT. But how do you know him?" she asked back as in the past six months ever since she had started working at Ishwari Communications never had she seen the girl.

"Actually, I do not know him, I just met him this evening here and he offered me a drink. But then he himself got drunk. Hey, can you do me a favour I need to rush so please help him reach his place" said the girl as Misha nodded in agreement, she could not leave her boss in such a state.

"Thank god Ma'am, You have come else like every time we would have had to call Ranveer Sir and he would be really angry with us" said the manager as Misha once again looked surprised.

"What do you mean to say?" she asked as the manager replied.

"Actually, Dev Sir almost comes here but there are few days when he gets totally drunk like today and on days like this we call Ranveer Sir and he gets very angry that we allowed him to get totally sloshed but then we cannot stop Dev sir as well he gets really angry and then it gets difficult to manage him" said the manager in a flow as Misha was left stunned listening to him while her thoughts went back to past six months, Dev came to the office irregularly. Sometimes he would come couple of times in week and sometimes he would be away for days together, was this the reason for his irregularity as just then someone tapped on her shoulder.

"What's the matter Mish, why are you standing here?" asked Srishti who had returned from the dance floor with Deep behind her.

"Actually Srishti, he's my boss and has completely passed out. We will need to help him. I am so sorry that I am spoiling your birthday" said Misha

"Mish, Dare you say sorry. Its Ok yar. But do you where he stays?" asked Srishti as Misha slapped her head, she had no idea where Dev stayed. She took her phone and tried calling Tina and Ranveer but while Tina had not picked the call Ranveer's phone was unreachable.

"Both are unreachable. Lets to one thing, we will take him to my house" said Misha as Deep asked

"Misha, Are you sure about it?" he asked as Misha replied in affirmation.

They paid the bill and the trio headed out, it was raining heavily due to which they were drenched as they made their way towards the car. They reached Misha's place in half an hour, once at Misha's place they placed Dev on the sofa. Srishti and Deep insisted on staying with Misha as they were not sure of Misha alone with Dev in such a state, but Misha was already feeling guilty for spoiling her best friend's birthday and forced them to leave as she convinced them that she could handle Dev.

"As they left I had gone to change my wet clothes as well making sure that Dev was asleep. After freshening up when I came back to check on Dev. I saw him shivering, it's then I realized that he was still in his wet clothes and I had left the window open due to which cold wind was blowing inside. Closing the window, I moved towards Dev and heard him babbling something in his sleep, as I neared him to listen what I heard left me speechless......" said Misha and paused as Sonakshi's breathe hitched for a moment as she waited impatiently for Misha to continue.

While Sonakshi was getting a glimpse of Dev's past the sisters were trying to do the same. They were standing outside a flat waiting for the door to open, after a few seconds the door opened as they were greeted by the person who was with Dev throughout his professional career and in the last seven years in his personal life as well, it was none other than Tina.

"Arey, Tum dono aa gayi. Andar aao" said Tina as she welcomed Riya and Nikki inside the house while at the same time someone got up from the sofa and asked.

"Kaun hai Tina?" asked the person and turned around to look but was left stunned to see the people standing with Tina as anger surged through him.

"Tum, Tum dono yahan kya kar rahi ho?" asked the person who was none other than Ranveer, while the sisters were shocked to see his anger. Riya had called up Tina and requested her to meet along with Ranveer as she was not sure if Ranveer would agree to meet them and seeing the scenario in front of them her doubts were coming true.

"Ranveer, tum aisey kyun baat kar rahey ho. Ye Dev sir ke beheney hai" said Tina trying to calm Ranveer down

"Beheney??" said Ranveer sarcastically as Riya and Nikki sighed disappointedly, they understood what Ranveer what he was trying to say

"Ranveer, please calm down. Ek baar unki baat toh sun lo" said Tina as Ranveer turned away from them clearly indicating that he did not want to speak to them.

"Ranveer Bhaiya, Humey pata hai ki aap gussa hai. Lekin please humari baat suniye ek baar" said Nikki as there was no reaction from Ranveer, Tina decided to take the control of the situation.

"Riya, Nikki Tum log baitho aur batao kyun milna chahti thi tum humsey" she said as the sisters settled down while Ranveer clenched his fists clearly not happy.

"Tina, Hum yahan bhaiya ke baarey main jaan ney aaye hai. Unkey pichley....." said Riya but before she could continue Ranveer interrupted.

"Kaafi jaldi yaad gayi tumhey apney Bhaiya ki..." he said sarcasm dripping from his voice

"Ranveer please, Unhey bolney toh do" said Tina in a pleading tone, she could understand his anger but she also knew right now they had to deal with the situation patiently

"Nahi Tina, Main sach main jaanna chahta hoon ki inhey itney saalon baad Dev ki yaad kaisey aa gayi. Itney saal jab wo akele tadapta raha, apney aap main ghut ta raha, jab usey apney parivaar ki sabsey zyada zaroorat thi tab kahan thi ye. Aaj jab Dev hum sab ko chodd ke chala gaya tab inhey apney bhai ki yaad aayi" he said sarcasm and anger clearly visible in his tone as Tina looked at the sisters sadly, she knew that Ranveer's anger was not misplaced yet she also knew the sisters had the right to know about their brother.

"Ranveer Bhaiya, Hum jaantey hai ki hum sab se bohot badi galti hui hai. Jiss bhai ne bachpan se humey Pita ka pyar diya, humesha humey support kiya, humey kabhi kisi cheez ki kami mehsoos nahi honey di humney unhey hi unkey burey waqt main akela chodd diya. Humey pata hai ki humsey galti hui hai. Please humey maaf kar dijiye" said Riya in a pleading tone as Ranveer softened a bit seeing that they at least regretted and were guilty about what they had done.

"Maafi mujhsey nahi, Maafi tum logon ko Dev se maangni chahiye. Lekin afsos, tum logon ne der kar di Riya ye realize karney main kyunki ab toh Dev hum sabki zindagi se humesha humesha ke liye chala gaya hai" he said in a defeated tone.

"Ranveer Bhaiya, Please aisa matt boliye. Hum poori koshish karenge bhaiya ko dhoond ney ki. Lekin iskey liye humey ye jaan na hoga ki pichley saat saalon main bhaiya ki zindagi main kya hua, wo kahan jaatey they, kya kartey they. Aap log unki zindagi main wapas kaisey aaye. Misha kaisey aayi. Humey sab jaan na hai taaki hum ye pata laga sakey wo iss waqt kahan jaa saktey hain" said Riya as Nikki and Tina nodded while Ranveer was quiet, he was unsure if Dev's past would be of any help in knowing about where he would be currently

"Riya, Tum logon ko Dev sir ke past ke baarey main jaanna hai na? Theek hai hum bata tey hai ki pichley saat saalon main unki zindagi main kya hua" said Tina as Riya and Nikki nodded while Ranveer gestured her to continue.

While the sister were about to peek into Dev's past Sonakshi was still waiting for Misha to continue, seeing her silent Sonakshi asked "Misha, Please tell what happened after that. What did Dev say?" as Misha looked back at her and spoke, her thoughts going back to that night.

As Misha neared Dev she heard him say "PLEASE DON'T GO SONA, PLEASE DON'T GO SONAKSHI, PLEASE SONA DON'T GO...." as Misha was left speechless.

Dev was remembering his estranged wife. She could understand that as she had read about her in the articles which were published during their break-up. Dev was jabbering continuously when Misha realized that he was still shivering because of the wet clothes and the cold environment, she tried waking him up but was unsuccessful, she touched his forehead when she realized that he had caught fever as she panicked.

She tried to wake Dev up once again but he was speaking incoherently, he tried to open his eyes but was unable to do so, he saw the blurred vision of a girl near her but his mind processed that it was Sonakshi and the next moment before Misha could realize Dev pulled her on to him and hugged her tightly as Misha found it impossible to come out of his hold.

It was late next morning when Dev got up, his head was throbbing in pain but the next moment as he saw around he was shocked for he realized that he was not in his house, he looked around trying to absorb the surroundings when a gust of wind blowing from the window hit him and it was then that he realized that his torso was naked and he wore just a track pant as fear gripped him, he felt something was wrong just as the door opened and a person walked in which left Dev flabbergasted for it was Misha.

"Misha, Tum? Main yahan kaisey aaya" he asked as she stood quietly while Dev's fear kept increasing

"MISHA, PLEASE TELL SOMETHING. HOW DID I END UP HERE? AND...AND WHAT HAPPENED LAST NIGHT?"

Done, How was it??. Frankly, I am nervous as this is the part of the story which quite a few of the readers have been waiting for, so I do not whether I am able to do justice to their expectations or not.
