I am here with the next update, my sincere apologies for not posting this on the weekend but I was caught up with my work.

"The winds were blowing hard as the rains lashed the surface of the earth, it seemed like nature had decided to lash out in fury and destroy everything that came in its path, the cacophony of the birds coupled with the rustling of the trees created an eerie atmosphere as people ran for cover to save themselves, but amidst all the chaos there was someone standing right in the middle of the road staring into oblivion, nothing seemed to affect her, neither the raging winds nor the heavy rains could make her move from her place nor could it destroy the last remaining hope in her heart, the hope of meeting her love again, the hope of never letting him go & the hope of making memories of a lifetime with him. Everyone was screaming at her to move but she seemed oblivious to the surroundings as she stood there while the rains drenched her but suddenly something caught her eye, at a distance she saw the silhouette of a person with his arms stretched, it seemed to her that the person was waiting for her and like a magnet it attracted her towards it. She started moving towards the shadow, but as she neared it the shadow seemed to move away from her. She started running towards it, but the faster she ran, faster the shadow moved away from her. After what seemed like an eternity the shadow stopped as she moved forward and it was then that she saw his face for the first time, one look at him brought an unbridled joy in her heart for it was person she was yearning for all these days, the person for whom she was ready to wait for a lifetime but seeing him standing in front of her right now made her feel as if she was re-born. All these days she was just a living dead, a body without a soul but right now it felt that life was being pumped back into her. But something about his eyes seemed to jolt her, they seemed distant but then a serene and a peaceful smile adorned his lips. Thoughts began to cloud her mind, was this it? Was it the moment she has been waiting for all this time? Was he real or was it just her imagination? Was it a mirage? She moved her hand to feel him but the very next moment he disappeared into thin air...................."

"Deeevvv........" screamed Sonakshi as she got up from her sleep, she was breathing heavily as sweat beads formed on her face, she looked around and that's when the realization dawned upon her, it was a dream, no in fact it was a nightmare. She dug her face between her folded knees as tears made way from her eyes as she started sobbing loudly.

"Sonaaa, Kya hua?" it was Asha who spoke loudly as she entered her daughter's room hearing her scream just as Sonakshi lifted her tear stained face to look at her and that was it for Asha. She ran towards her and engulfing her into a motherly hug she tried to calm her down.

"Shaant ho jaa Sona, please shaant hoja" she spoke as Sonakshi's sobs grew louder as Asha tightened her hug

"Wo Chala gaya Maa, wo chala gaya. Humesha ke liye, mujhey chodkey chala gaya wo" said Sonakshi as Asha's heart sank, she knew her daughter was devastated with the happenings of the previous night.

"Shaant ho jaa Sona aur mujhey bata ki kya hua? Tu chilayi kyun? Koi bura sapna dekha kya?" she asked as Sonakshi nodded in affirmation, as tears dropped from her eyes unabashed.

"Shaant ho Jaa Sona, Dekh tu hi aisey himmat har jayegi toh bachon ko kaun sambhalega" said Asha as Sonakshi looked at her.

"Maa, Unhey nahi pata naa? Wo bilkul toot jayenge Maa. Soha ne itney saal baad apney Papa ka pyar paya tha aur Golu, golu to Dev ko apna Superman maanta hai. Dev ne ussey apney bachey ki tarah pala hai Maa, wo seh nahi payega. Kyun chaley Gaya Maa wo. Who udaas tha, gussa tha lekin aisey kyun chaley gaya wo" she spoke hurriedly as Asha gripped her hand tightly to calm her down

"Sona, ye waqt inn sab baton ka nahi hai. Humey yeh sochna hai ki aagey kya karna hai humey aur bachon se ye baat toh hum zyada din chupa bhi nahi payenge" Asha said calmly, trying to make her daughter realise that it was time for taking some decisions rather than crying over the spilt milk

"Haan Maa, aap sahi keh rahi hai. Hum bachon se ye baat zyada din nahi chupa saktey. Humey Dev ko jald se jald dhoondna hoga. Main ussey dhoondongi, wapas laungi main ussey" said Sona as Asha nodded her head in assurance.

"Waisey, Bachhey kahan hai Maa. Unkey samney hum ye sab baatein nahi kar sakte" said Sonakshi as Asha replied "Abhi toh mainey unhey Saurabh ke saath bahar bheja hai taaki wo inn sab se door rahey" as Sonakshi agreed to it.

"Waisey Sona, Tuney kuch socha hai? Kaisey dhoondegi Dev ko" asked Asha as Sonakshi sighed in disappointment

"Mujhey nahi pata Maa, lekin kahin se toh Shurwat karni hogi. Aur shayad iss waqt ek hi insaan hai jo humari madad kar sakta hai" said Sonakshi

"Misha?" replied Asha "Haan" said Sonakshi.

"Mujhey Dev ke pichley saat saalon ke baarey main jaan naa padega Maa. Wo kahan jaata tha, kya karta tha aur sab kuch. Shayad iss sey ye pata chal sakey ki wo iss waqt kahan jaa sakta hai" said Sonakshi in hope as Asha nodded in affirmation.

"Main Tayar hokey Misha se milney jaati hoon Maa, aap bachon ko sambhal lena" she said as Asha replied "Ye bhi koi bolney waali baat hai Sona" as both smiled slightly for the first time since the fateful evening yesterday.

"Sona Beta, Kahan Jaa rahi ho?" asked Bijoy as Sonakshi descended the steps

"Kuch kaam hai Baba" she replied coldly which did not go unnoticed by both Asha and Bijoy. While Asha knew the reason for her coldness towards Bijoy but Bijoy thought it was due to the events of the last night.

"Kya Kaam Beta aur aaj toh Sunday hai?" he said in surprise as slowly irritation built up in Sonakshi which Asha was quick to sense seeing her expressions

"Bijoy, Hoga uska kuch kaam. Ab sab kuch tumhey batakey thodey naa karegi wo" said Asha trying to control the situation before it went out of hand.

"Asha, aisa kyun bol rahi ho tum. Arey meri beti mujhsey thodey naa chhupayegi ki kahan jaa rahi hai wo, hai naa Sona?" said Bijoy looking at Sonakshi with a smile and that ended all her patience.

"Kya jaana na chahtey hai aap Baba, Ki main kahan jaa rahi hoon. Toh suniye main Misha ke paas jaa rahi hoon Dev ke baarey main pata laganey ke liye. Aur kuch jaan na hai aapko?" she snapped back at him in anger, she was trying hard not to lose her control but could not.

Seeing Sonakshi raise her voice Bijoy was shocked, it was the first time that his daughter had shouted on him, recovering from the jolt he said "Kya hua Sona Beta, Tum chilla kyun rahi ho? Aur uss Dev ko dhundney kyun jaa rahi ho tum. Waisey accha hi hua ki wo Dev humari zindagi chala gaya. Ab tumhey bhi aagey badhna chahiye"

Sonakshi by now lost all her patience and self-control "Haan Baba, sach kaha aapney accha hua ki wo chala gaya. Accha hua ki Soha ne apney Papa ka pyar jo ussey itney saalo baad mila tha usey kho diya, Achha hua ki Golu ne apney pita saman Bigcha ko kho diya, ek Maa ne apne bete ko kho diya, ek behen ne apne bhai ko kho diya aur main ne apne pyar ko kho diya. Aap ko toh party mana ni chahiye. Aap jeet gaye Baba, Aap jeet gaye. Aap Ego jeet gaya aur shayad mera bhi" said Sonakshi as she slumped down crying uncontrollably, as Asha went and held her trying to calm her down while Bijoy stood stunned seeing his daughter's outburst, never in his wildest dream he thought she would accuse him but that was what had precisely happened as words failed him.

"Sona Beta, Wo main...." He said as he moved towards her, but Asha raised her hand gesturing him to not move an inch as she spoke "Bijoy, Agar tum apni beti ka dard nahi samajh saktey toh kam se kam usey aur dukh toh mat pohon chao" as Bijoy looked gobsmacked at her

"Ye tum kya keh rahi ho Asha. Main apni beti ka dard samajh nahi sakta?" he replied back at her

"Haan Bijoy, sahi keh rahi hoon main. Tum apne Gussey aur Ego main itney andhey ho chukey ho ki tumhey apni beti ka dard dikhayi nahi de raha. Tumhey ye dikh raha hai ki Dev chala gaya, lekin uss ney aisa faisla kyun liya wo tumhey dikh nahi raha. Uskey jaaney se Sona par kya beet rahi hai tumhey wo nahi dikh raha. Tumhey ye nahi dikh raha ki Soha par kya guzregi jab usey pata chalega ki Uskey Papa humesha ke liye ussey chodkey chaley gaye" she said as once again Bijoy was tongue-tied.

"Tum kehna kya chahti ho Asha, ki Dev ne meri wajah se aisa faisla liya?" Bijoy replied as Asha sighed disappointedly, this was not the Bijoy she knew. Yes, he was short-tempered but never was he blind-eyed to someone's pain let alone his own daughter but today it seemed to her that he was not ready to see it.

"Main aisa kuch nahi keh rahi hoon Bijoy. Lekin haan main iss baat sey mana bhi nahi karungi ki shayad Dev ke aisa faisla lene ke peechey kahin na kahin hum sab bhi zimmedar hai, jiss tarah tumney baar baar usey ye ehsaas dilaya ki uski Sona ya phir Soha ko koi zaroorat nahi hai, kya tumhey nahi lagta ki usspey inn sab baton ka kitna asar hua hoga? Tumhey lagta hai ki tum as a father humesha sahi faisla lete ho, lekin kya ye sach hai Bijoy?" asked Asha as Bijoy was rendered speechless once again, Asha was saying the same which Misha had said yesterday, but he ignored Misha as she was an outsider but now his better half was accusing her of not being a good father.

"Ye tum kya keh rahi ho Asha? Tum ye kehna chahti ho ki main accha father nahi hoon? Jabki Dev ne khud mujhey ek accha Father kaha hai" replied Bijoy as Asha sighed as all this time Sonakshi was sitting morosely on the floor.

"Yaad hai Bijoy jab tum hospital main they tab bhi tumney mujh sey ye sawal kiya tha, lekin tab main ney kuch nahi bola lekin shayad aaj mujhey tumhey bolna padega. Tum ek acchey father ho Bijoy but you are not the best. As a father tumney bhi galtiyan ki hai, lekin tumhey pata hai problem kya hai Bijoy, problem ye hai ki tum kabhi apni galtiyon ko maan nan ahi chahtey. Tum keh reh ho ki Dev tumhey achha father kaha hai jo sahi hai, lekin tum ney ye nahi dekha ki uss ney tumhey sirf apni beti ke liye ek accha father kaha hai" she said as Bijoy looked at her in confusion, on one hand Asha was telling that he was a good father but then she denied it at the same time

"Matlab, Main kuch samjha nahi Asha" he replied perplexed

"Tumney apney dono bachon main fark kiya hai Bijoy, haan tumney Sona ka saath diya humesha uss key faislon main lekin kya Saurabh ko tumsey wo support mila. Tum humesha usey taaney dete rahey, use less kehte rahey, haan ye alag baat hai ki uss ney kabhi tum sey kuch kaha nahi lekin kya usey bura nahi lagta hoga. Tumney humesha Dev ko Soha ke saamney neecha dikhaya lekin as a father kya tumhey accha lagta agar koi Sona ke saamney tumhey neecha dikhaye. Aur aaj tum Sona aur Soha dono ki khusiyan jiss sey judi hai uss sey dekh nahi paa rahey ho. Toh batao Bijoy kya as a father tumney humesha sahi faisley liye? Kya tumney koi galtiyan nahi ki?" she finished as Bijoy looked at her stunned, she had accused him of differentiating between his kids. Words failed him as he tried to respond but before that Sonakshi spoke as she got up.

"Bass Maa, aur kuch matt boliye. Mujhey aur kuch nahi sunn na. Baba, bataiye aap kya chahtey hai. Aap chahtey hai na ki main Dev ko nahi dhoondo toh phir theekh hai main usey nahi dhoondti. Aur kya chahtey hai aap, ki main kisi se shaadi kar loon, zindagi main move on kar loon. Toh Theek hai bataiye mujhey kiss sey shaadi karni hai. Main ready hoon and don't worry Dev ne ye aur aasan kar diya hai mere liye" she said as both looked at her in confusion.

"Matlab, tu kehna kya chahti hai Sona?" asked Asha as Sonakshi replied

"DEV NE MUJHEY DIVORCE PAPERS BHEJEY HAI MAA"

Done, How was it??. Frankly, this is the most nervous I have ever been while posting any part of any of my story as I do not know how this part and the future story will be received.
