June March was having terrible back pain, her head was killing her from where she had slept completely uncomfortably, her body pressed into the side of JJ as he snored. She fought to open her eyes, the moonlight beating down on them from over head as she finally caught a glimpse of something, June's eyes falling on JJs peacefully oblivious face.

She had given an unfair amount of thought to the game from the a few hours before, her stomach hurting along with her head as she tried to wrap her head around what had happened. Not only had she kissed John B, JJ had made her feel a hell of a lot better about Kie, but at the same time, she didn't like him knowing that she could be jealous of her.

She pushed those thoughts away, choosing the take the time to admire JJ, who had literally proposed to her, something she still couldn't wrap her head around. The fact that they were going to get married made her stomach turn on its own.

She was well aware that they were too young, and this was too soon, everything had happened so fast since she had started talking to JJ. But the experiences that they had went through together, June's death...there was no time to waste.

Although June wanted to do it right, she wanted to wear her mother's dress and walk down an aisle and have her dad give her away. June's smile dropped as she thought of her family, wondering if she was likely to see them anytime soon or if they were really completely missing now. She wondered if her parents were looking for her, part of her hoped they didn't care. She didn't want them to hurt any more than they already did. She scolded herself for how she had treated them since she had gotten home, but she couldn't blame herself too much given all the shit that was going on.

"June...what time is it?" JJ groaned into her stomach, June looking down at his sleepy face. She ran a hand through his blonde hair, narrowing her eyes at him and looking up at the sky. She covered her face with her hand, running it over and then sending a hand through her hair.

"We'll according to the suns position in the sky, I'd say it's about 2 am." June said, JJs eyes opening at her words. His mouth dropped open in awe, the boy sitting up, his arms on either side of her waist as he shook his head.

"You can read the sun?" He asked, pure shock on his face. June tried her hardest to keep a straight face, failing miserably as a smile broke across her lips, a giggle sounding from her mouth.

"No JJ I have no idea what time it is. And you cant...you cant read the sun." June laughed out, JJs face falling as he listened to her. He gave her a frustrated and disbelieving face, leaning forwards and wrapping his arms tightly around her waist. He pushed his face into her chest, hugging her as tight as possible and letting out a deep and contented breath.

A thought occurred to him, JJs smile broadening as her fingertips ran up and down his back. He pulled back, June letting out a whine as she furrowed her eyebrows, wondering why he was no longer holding her.

"We should go do something..." JJ led off, June's face immediately brightening as she realized what he was implying. She laughed out loud, JJs face dropping at her laugh.

"Okay JJ. Yes. Where are you thinking? Against the palm tree? In the sand? Sounds like an amazing time." June laughed some more, watching as JJs expression continued to change. He rolled his eyes, pressing forwards and pressing a kiss to her lips. June stopped laughing, her hands immediately going to his face as she enjoyed the feeling. JJs lips turned up in a smile as he continued to kiss his future wife. Something he still couldn't quite wrap his head around...the fact that she had said yes.

"Oh I know what we should do. We should go swimming." June said, pulling back from the kiss and squeezing JJs cheeks. He shrugged his shoulders, his mind going elsewhere as he wondered where the others were.  June pushed JJ off, standing from her spot and dusting herself off. She did a big stretch, her arms lifting over her head as  she let out a  short groan. JJ was quick to get up, the lovesick boy wrapping his arms around her waist from behind, pressing a kiss to the crook of her neck. June jumped, a giggle leaving her lips as she lifted her hand to his hair. She turned in his arms, her smile never faltering as she pressed a kiss to the corner of his mouth. She pulled out of his arms, JJ blinking away his wonder and awe before following after her.

"I wanna hold your hand." JJ said, catching up to her and looking down at her. June soon realized that  hand holding was not something that the two of them did often, and was something that she always used to do with Zach.  June's lips turned up at his suggestion, the girl reaching out and grabbing his hand. She intertwined their fingers, enjoying the feeling of his hand fitting perfectly with hers. She lifted their hands, pressing a kiss to the back of JJs hand and stopping his breathing for a moment.

The two of them walked in comfortable silence for a few minutes, June and JJ unable to stop smiling, due to the fact that they were in each other's presence. They reached the shore eventually, June pulling her hand from JJs and earning a whine from the boy.  She let out a chuckle, her hands dropping to the hem of her shirt as she gave him a raised eyebrow.  June looked around, realizing there was no one else around them, the coast was clear.

June pulled her shirt off, JJs eyes widening as he realized she wasn't wearing a bra. He immediately stopped whining, his mouth dropping open as June took a few steps closer to him.

"Let's take a swim." She said, JJ not even hesitating to pull his shirt off. He gave her an awestruck smile, his eyes dropping to her hands as she started to pull her shorts off. He was quick to assist her, June soon completely naked  standing on the beach. The cool air nipped at her skin, goosebumps rising on her as JJ  reached for her. But she was quick to shake her head, the girl running away from him and into the warm water.

JJ watched from the shore, his eyes wide as he realized how much he loved this. He pulled his own shorts off, looking around frantically to make sure no one saw him as he started to get all giddy inside. He fist pumped the air as she had her back turned, the boy running towards the water as well.

He made his way to where June was standing, the water hardly covering her chest, her eyes turned out to the water and the moon.

"Damn you're beautiful." JJ said, his smile gone as he truly meant what he said. June turned her head to look at him, a smile coming across her lips as she felt the butterflies flutter around her stomach. She turned her body, wrapping her arms around JJs neck and pressing a kiss to his lips.  She pulled back a moment later, the two of them just admiring each other as a thought occurred to June.

"Whose idea was spin the bottle?" June asked, furrowing her eyebrows as JJ ran his hands against her skin under the water. He laughed slightly,  shaking his head and grabbing her thighs. He lifted her, the girl wrapping her legs around his waist as she tightened her arms around his neck.

"It was mine and John Bs and I was pretty sure that it was gonna work in my favor. I mean I guess it worked in John Bs favor because he got to kiss you but I didn't get to kiss you so I was pretty bummed but then again—also, how was that kiss with John B? You know the game is kind of a peck kind of situation, like you're not supposed to keep kissing so I was a little thrown off when you two kinda—is he a good kisser or som-"

"JJ! JJ. What are you talking about? Of course he's a good kisser." June joked, her stomach twisting at her words, the girl unable to hold her laugh in at the look on JJs face. He immediately turned his head to the side, June throwing her head back in laughter as he stopped talking, his lips tightened into a thin straight line. "I'm just kidding, J. Lighten up." June said, pressing forwards and dropping a flurry of kisses onto his shoulder and collarbone. JJ couldn't fight back the smile on his face, his eyebrows raising as he pulled back and looked at her. June was playing a dangerous game now, her lips being on him making him feel some type of way.

"Don't look at me like that." June said, furrowing her eyebrows as she felt her smile widen. JJ only stared harder, June's stomach turning at the look in his eyes as she turned her head away. She looked at the moon, trying to calm her heartbeat as she realized where his hands were resting on her body.

"Wait so who's a better kisser? Me or John B?" JJ asked a few moments later, a look of genuine curiosity on his face. June rolled her eyes again, JJs lips turning up at the corners as she pulled out of his grip, her feet connecting back with the sand beneath her.

"Alright we're done swimming." June said, shaking her head as she started to make her way back towards their clothes.

"John B! Really?" JJ said, following behind her with a look of disbelief on his face. He grabbed her by the wrist, pulling her back and immediately pressing a kiss to her lips. She accepted it, JJ trying to prove that he was in fact, better than John B.

"I was gonna say you. But thanks for that." June said, patting JJs cheek as she continued to walk away from him. He once again reached out for her, grabbing her by the waist and lifting her, the girl letting out a squeal as he threw her into the water.  He laughed as she came out of the water looking like a sea monster, his eyes soon widening as he saw the murderous look on her face.

This time he didn't even speak, instead running and swimming abc to shore as quickly as he could, the girl following after him as fast as she could. He already had his clothes pulled on by the time she got to shore, the boy running off with his shirt in hand as he tried not to get killed. June stood in the water for a moment, sending one last look out towards the open ocean before looking back at the shore.  Her lips turned up as she looked at JJ Maybank again, realizing this was the only place she ever wanted to be. With him.

"Sorry baby! That's what you get!"
