"What's your name?" The officer at the front desk asked, looking down at me with a raised eyebrow. I shifted in my stance, looking around to see Sean still standing next to me, as if I was a child that he had to take care of while I was lost.

"(Y/N) (L/N)..." I trailed off, I was scared to think I had to be here, filling out a police report just for myself, so maybe my parents could find me. Jack look down at me in surprise, I haven't told him my name just yet, so this was the first he's heard about it.

"That should be all the information we need, do you have a place to stay?" The man asked, looking up from his papers about me and took a breath. "If not, we can provide you with a place to stay, but you will be charged later once you find your-"

"(Y/N) will be staying with me." Jack interrupted the man before he could say anything else. I looked up to him, wondering what he was doing and why he was doing this to a stranger that just asked him for directions on the street. Jack winked back as if to say everything was fine.

"Do you know this man?" The man glanced to Jack, than back to me.

"Yes, he a... second cousin of mine." I lied right through my teeth and nodded to the man. I don't know why I was lying to him, but I was. I looked to my "second cousin" to see him smiling back down at me, I raised an eyebrow in my confusion.

The man nodded and looked back to his paperwork and coughed, trying to lighten up the subject, that didn't help at all. "We will do our best to find your parents, and we are sorry this happened to you." He shook his head as if to say what a shame.

My bullshit meter went off the charts, I knew he was lying and didn't really care much, but that was really fucked up. "Thank you again." I smiled and nodded as I turned away from the desk and walked out the front door, Jack following me close behind. "What the hell are you doing?" I asked, getting very curious on why he's taking me into his home.

"I'll help you okay?" Jack smiled to me, he was trying to be nice at the very least. I took a breath and sighed out, trying to wrap my head around this thing. "Don't worry, I just want to help you, that is all." Jack smiled even wider at me.

"Y-Yeah... so, uh, where's you're house... if your letting me stay in it?" I asked, looking away from him shyly, I was going to start stumbling on my own words very soon if I did this. "And thank you for letting me do so..." I smiled.

"I'll take you there, until then, it's your home too... just relax and don't worry, you'll find your parents so enough." He chuckled, leading the way to his home, I followed by his side.
