I pushed opened the door and stepped inside, rubbing my hands together from the cold weather outside, I slept on a park's bench for one night, and I want to say, I never hope to ever do that again in my life.
Jack came walking up to me with a worried look on his face, he pulled me in for a kiss and wrapped his arms around my waist.
What? I was only gone for one night, he had his girlfriend anyways. I pushed away from him and stared.
"What's wrong?" I asked, looking around for anything out of place, but didn't, so I gazed back to him.
"You weren't responding to any of the skype calls or messages I was sending to you..." He looked concern.
"Sean, are you okay?" I wasn't used to seeing him act like this, I'm not sure if I liked him like this.
"I kicked my girlfriend out saying that we needed to know eachother better before I could do anything with her, I didn't want you to sleep outside for the night, I'm sorry..." Jack pressed his lips onto mine again.
Shaking my head, I showed that I was confused. "But she's your girlfriend, she's more important than-"
"No she's not!" Jack barked at me, making me take a step back away from him. "You're important to me."
"Sean... what do you mean?" I questioned, looking down at his body, noticing how he looked like he had a rough night alone.
"Nothing... forget that I said anything..." Jack rolled his eyes and pulled away from me in a rude matter.
"Where's your girlfriend?" I asked. "She doesn't live here and she sounded like she was staying here for the night."
"Probably in some hotel room, I don't care." Jack shrugged and made his way towards the kitchen.
"She's your girlfriend, you can't just say that to someone you love." I bit my lip in awkwardness.
I liked him, and I saw trying to help solve whatever he was doing to himself with his other, it was a really bad feeling to know that he wasn't dating me, but her.
"I don't love her, okay? I might like her, but she's annoying after a while, always taking about me and saying how much she loves me... I've had to lie to her beautiful face and say "I love you too" so many times." Jack ran his hand through his hair. "I'm losing fate that she's the one."
I couldn't help him, I don't know what to do in this situation, helping was something needed, but can't.
"Maybe she isn't the one?" I blurred out, wishing I haven't, I blushed and tried to hid them with my hands.
"What? She's beautiful, and stunning, has an amazing talent just drawing things... I'm lucky." Jack shrugged.
"Instead of what she is, why don't you try, what is it that you think of her?" I asked, getting closer to him.
"She's... annoying and brags about me..." Jack leaned against the wall to support his weight on it. "I seem like the best thing to happen to her, and I want to be normal..."
"You don't need to date some girl to be happy, it's how you live your life that makes you happy or not."
"I like a girl who's adorable in maid's dress and knows me more than anyone..." He looked at me. "I would date her, but she's too young..."Was that supposed to be me? He has admitted those thing before to me, I started to blush more.
"I want to, but she seems like a whole other level from me." He chuckled at me, getting to his feet again. "Maybe one day I can?"
I smiled and gave a thumbs up. "I think she'll like the idea when she get older, until then, she's has to deal with her age until then." I giggled.
