Days passed by and it was finally the day of the wedding.

"Won't Sara attend our marriage ceremony?" Alex asked Hanna on the phone.

"She's not yet done with her project in California. I don't know when she'll return, but I will send her photos." She replied coldly.

"Alright then. We will meet in the church. Bye."

It was time for the couple to unite. The guests, family and friends sat impatiently, waiting for the bride to arrive. Alex, the groom was already there, standing in front beside the Father. He wore a pitch black suit with a red tie. His hair was well combed and wore the golden watch of his deceased grandfather on his special day. Alex looked very charming and shy.

Finally the bride made her entry. Everyone turned around and gasped when they saw the beautiful bride. Hanna wore an elegant, white wedding gown of pure silk decorated with pearls around the border of her sleeves and the base of the dress and around the waist it consisted of a white floral embroidery. She also had a beautiful glimmering bouquet between her soft hands. The bridal dress was just too amazing. Hanna looked stunning. She started to walk down the hall leaving every guests mouth opened. She was followed by 3 charming bridesmaid dressed in long purple mermaid gowns.

Alex fell in love with her again.

Just as Hanna reached in the middle of the church, she stopped. Her facial expression changed. Her smile faded. She looked afraid. The bridesmaid told her to continue to go forward but Hanna refused. Her fear increased and she started shouting.
"Get me out of this place."

She tried to run but the bridesmaids grabbed her and tried to calm her but she became furious and pushed them all. The bridesmaids were heavily injured. Alex talked to Hanna but she pushed him too. Hanna acted as if she was in distress. None dared to get near her. She was being very aggressive. The guests were all horrified. Jenna Rose suddenly walked to Hanna, grabbed her arm and took her out of the church. Silence reigned the atmosphere. Everyone was traumatized. The bridesmaids were sent to the hospital.

After some minutes, Hanna entered. She walked near Alex and stood firmly in front of everyone and apologized : "I am sorry for all the inconveniences. Please no need to worry. I was just a little bit stressed."

She then turned to Alex: "I am ready father. Start the procession."

Alex noticed a strange sparkle in the eyes of Hanna. He knew that something was wrong-but what? Hanna was being too weird since they met , her best friend Sara who meant the world to her was not present in the wedding ceremony and now his mother was nowhere to be seen in the church. Why did his mom took Hanna out? What did they both talked about? Alex was lost in all those confusions when he heard the father stating: You are now husband and wife!
But neither did he remember when he declared the words "I do", nor did he remember whether he made any allegiance or promises to his wife. He did not raise any questions as he saw all the guests and family cheering. It was only then that Jenna appeared and announced that dinner will be served as from 7 pm at the Rose's residence.

After the ceremony, a delicious dinner was served to the guests and after all the guests left, the whole family gathered together. The women started gossiping, the elderly males drank and were playing cards and the children were playing around and running to and fro.

Pieces of cake of distributed among the family. Hanna also received her share but the cake was to be eaten with a fork. Hanna had the fork in her hands, she started to play with it. She kept her eye on that fork only. Alex stared at her but she did not mind. Jenna Rose snatched the fork from her and replaced it with a spoon. She whispered something into Hanna's ear and the latter start eating her dessert.

Everyone was joyful. The cousins of Alex were talking to Hanna. The bride did not talk too much. Alex's cousins thought that she was tired so they took her to her new room, which means her husband's room.

Soon after, Alex came in the room. Her wife was relaxing on the bed. He thought of talking to her but as soon as he sat next to her, Hanna muttered in a low voice: " Can you bring me some water?"
Alex nodded and headed to the kitchen. He noticed that Hanna was weak. She sounded as if she was intoxicated. Maybe she drank after the party - Alex thought.

When he came back with the glass of water, Hanna was asleep. He sat next to her and stared at her for a long time. Hanna appeared too weak. The way she was sleeping seemed like she was dead but she was actually breathing.

When Alex got up, he heard a noise. He turned around and saw Hanna, still in sleep, scratching behind the ear. He went nearer and examined the back side of her ear. He noticed a very small green dot. What was that?- he wondered. He took it out and looked at it closely but suddenly he drifted to sleep.

As he was sleeping, he rested his hands on his chest and the green dot got stuck on his shirt.
