"Seungwoo is quitting school?"

"Yes I heard he is going abroad to complete his education."

"And Daniel too! He is leaving school!"

"Who told you that?"

"Someone from another section. She saw Daniel taking all his documents from the school."

Students got new things to gossip. A group of girls was excited as they talked about it. It was interesting and entertaining. Meera was just done with everyone. She was never bothered by other people's opinion. She was solely worried about Daniel. She wanted him to at least complete the year but he refused saying I am already failing. I will fail this class and become your junior. She decided to drop the topic. He was already working at the Sushi place and then at the garage in the night. On top of that he was looking for another part time. The loan sharks had taken his small old washing machine along with the small fridge.

"Hey Meera." One of the gossip girls, Eunha came and sat on Taedong's seat. She had a curious expression and Meera knew what she was going to ask.

"Do you know the boys left the school? Mm?" Her honey laced voice was hurting the girl's ears. Meera just smiled to avoid the question but Eunha didn't get he clue. "Did he really go abroad? Seungwoo?" She continued to ask her questions till Taedong came. "Get up from my seat." Eunha gulped and quickly moved away. Taedong is not known for his patience and dealing with his harsh words was the last thing anyone wanted in the morning.

"Always the Center of attention." The boy commented looking at Meera. He then sat on his seat and slept. Meera did what she had to. Ignore him. She had bigger worries for now.

"Jaehwan." Meera called for her best friend. He lazily looked at her. "No. I'm not free after school. I need to clean the music instruments in the music room." He clearly said with a bored expression. Meera pouted. "But you-"

"No I never said. We have been going to that sushi place for over a week. I am tired of Japanese food now. Please Meera. I can take no more." He begged with puppy eyes.

Meera had been going to Daniel's workplace with Jaehwan after school. But now the boy was tired to go to that place. "Fine. I'll go by myself." She huffed angrily and began studying. For a minute Jaehwan looked at her. He didn't want her to be angry with him. But then when he realised that she was back to normal, he turned around and slept on the desk.

After the class ended for the day, Meera and Jaehwan were keeping their books in the locker when Joy approached them. And once again things went in slow motion. Joy stood near her locker and raised her head. She then moved her head sideways with her hair moving in waves accordingly. The guys in the hallway stared at her dreamily while the girls crushed the soda cans in their fists. It was like some imaginary pink flowers were around her radiating her beauty.

"Yah idiot! Stop drooling!" Somi lightly smacked Jaehwan's shoulder from behind. He got flustered and wiped the drool with his shirt sleeves. Meera chuckled at his behaviour but smiled reassuringly letting him know that it's okay. But he ended up pouting.

"Okay so I'm going. Take care." Meera bud goodbye to Jaehwan before leaving to meet Daniel. "Hm. Bye."

He lazily walked to the music room to clean he supplies. It wasn't a punishment. He volunteered to do it. He walked inside the music room and started cleaning the supplies. But when his hands touched the guitar, he couldn't stop himself. Only his parents and Meera knew that he was interested in music. He loved playing guitar and had one at home. He considered it as a hobby but deep down he knew that it was more than that. He was just afraid to let people know about this. They always saw him as some stupid guy or an idiot. That was his image in their minds. Sure, he was a bit clumsy but that didn't mean that he couldn't woo people. He had his own charms. And people were yet to see it.

His fingers began stroking the strings of the guitar as a familiar tune filled the room. He closed his eyes and let his fingers do their magic on the wood piece.

"This is the end
Hold your breath and count to ten.."

Everything turned peaceful and serene. His voice was indeed melodious, magical, magnificent and all the other beautiful heavy words that one can ever use. Meera could never understand why he was so afraid of letting people know about it. It could change their perception and let them see him in a different light. All he needed was one perfect timing for it.

"Let the sky fall
When it crumbles
We will stand tall
Face it all together"

"Thank you Minhyun sunbae." Hae Ra bowed as her senior waved his hand going in the opposite direction. She sighed in relief. For some time she had been looking for a part time. And now, with Minhyun's help, she got one. The job was of a photocopier. All she has to do is sit near the photocopy machine and help people with it. Or maybe do some extra and miscellaneous activities for them. It was in some institute or a coaching centre. They needed an extra hand and Minhyun recommended her. She was glad that she asked him.

She walked back to her class to arrange it. It was her day to do so. The days were divided on the basis of roll numbers. After doing the needful, when she was walking down the empty hallway, she heard something. Or rather someone. Her feet moved on their own to desired direction and the voice became louder and clearer. She stood at the gates of the music room and saw the shadow of a male student who was probably sitting and singing. She rested her back against the wall and listened to the singing.

To say that she liked it would be an understatement.

It was music which helped her cope up with her life. Recently things became difficult for her. And listening to music is way to escape from the harsh reality she was living in. That's the reason she adores Minhyun. She saw him playing piano for school events and she was totally mesmerised by his skills.  But now, this voice was something else. More comforting and filled with warmth.

"...at skyfall." She heard the sound of a loud sigh. Seconds later she heard footsteps of the person inside. Before that stranger could see her, she ran away from there. If she hasn't heard that voice before in school events where people perform to showcase their talent, then that student preferred to hide it for some reason. That's what she believed.

Jaehwan walked to the gates to see someone. He could feel as if someone was listening to him. So he sighed and kept the guitar aside to check. But there was no one.

"Maybe I'm just over thinking."

Meera was walking to the sushi place. It was a bit away from the market and that's the reason why they had less customers. The food was on point but the location was a problem. The couple who owned the place couldn't find a place in the market because of their budget.

While walking she came across a family, foreigners to be exact. They were going towards the market. When she passed by them she heard the little saying something to his parents. "I am hungry. I want food!" He stomped his foot cutely. Meera could tell form their accent that they were Australians. His father crouched down to look at him. "We're going for lunch. Just wait." He was patient with his son. The mother smiled at the duo as she held her daughter in her arms. Another family was with them, probably relatives. The other family consists of parents and their daughter who seemed to be older than the boy.

Meera thought of something. She went to the family and bowed to which they acknowledged by bowing their head a little. "There is a Japanese eating place at the corner. The food is really good." She suggested them to eat at the Sushi place. The boy got excited and held his father's shirt. "Please. I'm so tired from all the walking." He begged. "The service is fast too!" Meera added to persuade them. The families agreed to her and asked her to lead the way.

Daniel was a little shocked. He was packing Sushi for a customer when Meera entered the place with some foreigners. She herself guided them to the long tables. She then excused herself and went to the counter. After placing her bag there, she wore an extra apron and picked up the cloth. She cleaned their table and served them water.

"Meera? Who are they?" Daniel asked confused. He packed the Sushi and thanked the customer. "Who what? They are your customers! They were hungry so I brought them here." She said and looked for the menu below the counters. The couple came out of the kitchen when they heard loud chatting noises. They looked at the foreigners and then at Meera. "They are just hungry." She said and went to the customers. She explained them the menu since it was Korean.

Daniel could do nothing but admire her. He just stared at her as she took their orders and talked to them. She didn't have to do any of those things. But still she did. For him. She was ready to clean the table and work for free. Just for him.

"Here is the order." Meera gave the slip to the lady owner. She smiled with gratitude and went inside with her husband to cook the dishes.

"What are you thinking?" She asked while resting herself on the counter like Daniel. "About Jaehwan. Where is he?" Though it was to tease her, he was a tad bit curious about the boy's whereabouts. "He had some work in school."

Around ten minutes later the couple came out of the kitchen with dishes in their hands. Daniel and Meera helped them and placed the dishes on the table.

"Do you have coke?" The girl asked in her accent. "We can arrange it for you." Meera said with a smile and then took out some money from her purse. "Go get some coke for her." She said to Daniel.

"I have money! Keep it." He didn't want to use her money for this. It didn't feel right. Just because it didn't matter to her, he couldn't do it.

"Stop acting like a baby and go!" She turned him around by holding and pushing his arm. He was protesting but she pushed his shoulders from the back like a toy train and then gently pushed his body to move him outside the outlet. "Run Daniel. Use that body for something." She playfully teased and leaned on he doorway.

Daniel smirked. "I can use my body in some other way tomorrow night. And you'll be screaming my name. Prepare yourself." His smirked again.

Meera blushed badly. She lowered her head as her hair covered her hair to hide her flushed face. She quickly went inside avoiding any kind of eye contact with him. Daniel laughed seeing her reaction. She seemed so innocent at times he like these. But only he knows how wild she can be. He was the only one who was blessed enough to see her like that.

When Daniel came, he saw Meera cleaning the table. The little boy dropped some noodles on the table while trying to feed his sister. Meera quickly took a cloth and began cleaning the table. She picked the noodles and then used a wet cloth to clean it. Somehow Daniel didn't like it. He didn't want her to clean tables like that. He felt burdened by her act.

"You came." Meera said and took the coke from his hand to serve the girl. "I'll do it." He stopped her and served the girl herself. Something about his expressions told Meera that he was not in a good mood. So she let him do it.

After the foreigners left, the couple who owned the place thanked Meera. They know that she is Daniel's girlfriend and comes at times with people. She once brought her father there since he likes Japanese food.

"Tell me." She said while picking up her bag. Daniel was walking her to the bus stop.

"I didn't like it.. when you were cleaning tables." He lowered his head. He was disappointed in himself. Meera sighed. She halted her steps and made Daniel do the same. She turned to turned to him and held his nape.

"Daniel. I do that because I want to. I don't mind doing it. I am happy that I'm of some help to you. You had to quit street fighting because of me. And now you're in more trouble with the loan sharks. I just couldn't sit and let you worry all alone."

Her fingers gently caressed his nape to calm his tensed nerves. He sighed and looked in her eyes. "I know. Sometimes I can't help but feel that way. I want to treat you like a queen. But I just..." he couldn't complete his sentence.

"Daniel. You don't have to. I'm happy as long as I'm with you." She said with sincerity. Daniel nodded at her words.

"I love you." He said before dropping his lips on hers and encircling his arms around her waist to pull her body closer. He nibbled on her lips and then stroked it with his tongue. Meera moaned his name in pleasure.

"Love you too Daniel."
