Everything was all too quick to comprehend. They were all inside an alley with TOP and Daniel fighting in a corner of the alley while Seungri had Meera pinned against one of the walls there. Seungri knew about Daniel's history and brought the group's best fighter, TOP with him. He was aware of the fact that he won't be able to take him down all by himself. He smirked seeing the things going his way.

Daniel tried to punch TOP but the man was good enough to block most of them. He spared a few seconds to glance at Meera only to have his eyes widened. His blood boil seeing Seungri mishandling his pregnant girlfriend. With all the anger he moved back a little to lift his leg and kick his opponent. TOP stumbled back because of the impact. It gave Daniel enough time to run to Meera and push away Seungri, only to stand in front of her protectively.

"Leave."

That's all he said when his eyes met Seungri's mocking ones. Meera held her stomach with one hand and Daniel's arm with the other. Tears streamed down her cheeks as she tried to control her sobs. She didn't want to be weak but the horror was too much for her to handle. She looked out of the alley trying to look for some help but there was none, no soul in sight and it made her heart tremble. I have to be strong. She kept chanting it in her mind. She wanted to be strong for Daniel and their baby.

"You're making it difficult for yourself Daniel. Give us your girlfriend and we'll write off your debt."

The words only made Daniel's blood boil. He clenched his bruised fists by his sides ready to attack it they come any closer.

"Keep her out of this. She has nothing to do with it. Just give me a month and I'll return everything. I promise." Daniel tried to sound believable. He was trying to buy some time to get Meera out of there.

Seungri laughed. It was an evil laughter which brought chills down the couple's spine. Soon his laugher died down replaced by a scoff. Meera could feel goosebumps on her skin. Even his laugh was as dangerous as him.

"You really think that you would be able to pay us back. You will have a baby in a month and with another mouth to feed you want us to believe your lies. Bullshit!" Seungri spat afterwards. He was done with Daniel's excuses. He didn't even return the half of his debts but he was ready to make a family like that. "Pay your debts before you go around making babies with your girlfriend. You don't want them to live without a father now, do you?"

Daniel gulped when he saw TOP approaching him slowly. In a blink of an eye he was pushed against the wall. Meera's breath hitched. Her scream got stuck in her throat when Seungri harshly gripped her hand and pulled her forward. Things were too fast to comprehend.

"You! come with me!"

Meera turned back to look at Daniel who was fighting with TOP. "Daniel!" The boy immediately looked at his crying girlfriend with her hand on her belly to protect their child while the other was in Seungri's hands as he pulled her to him. Everything turned into a slow motion for him. He could hear her calling his name but no sound reached his ears. He knew he had to do something.

Fighter Daniel was back.

Daniel's nose flared in anger as he punched TOP with all his might. Not just one but he punched him over and over again till he could sit up no more. Daniel had enough. His inner fighter was surfacing back to protect the people he love the most in the world. He let out a groan before standing up properly and kicked him in the guts. It was the same when he beat up Seongwoo that time. He saw all red and beat up TOP as much as he could. His groans and shallow breaths were the last of his concerns. He stopped seeing no movement from TOP. His nose was bleeding as he stayed motionless on the dirty ground.

His fists were clenched on his sides as he turned around to see Seungri stop his movements.

"Let. Her. Go."

Daniel said each and every word slowly and sternly. Seungri looked at his friend who was lying on the floor. Fear slowly crept up his heart. He hesitantly let go of her hand and Meera immediately stepped aside to the wall. She saw how Daniel looked at the other man. His clenched knuckles had blood smudged on them. Her eyes widened and she covered her mouth to stop herself from screaming. Her eyes fell on the dead body near Daniel's legs. A nail had pierced through the dead man's arm making her nauseous.

She never saw that murderous look on Daniel. She then looked at Seungri who looked as if he was ready to run away from there. But Daniel knew better. He quickly picked up a small rod and threw it at him when he turned around to leave. Seungri fell down from the impact as Daniel walked to him. Meera knew something bad was going to happen if she didn't step in. A part of her was scared to even approach Daniel but seeing the way he stepped towards the fallen man, she had to push back that feeling.

"Daniel.." she softly said but he didn't hear her. She took a step forward to him and called him again. Daniel had his eyes set on Seungri's trembling form.

"D-Daniel.. let's t-talk..hmm?" Daniel smirked before kicking his thighs making him scream in pain. It wasn't enough for him. So he picked up that rod again to beat him with it. Before it could hit the man, he stopped.

"I'm sorry! I'll talk to Jiyong! You don't have to pay anything! Everything is settled!"

Seeing him halt his steps Seungri thought that he got out of it. But boy he thought wrong. Daniel hit him in a blink of an eye. With each and every hit he groaned to put in more strength. "How dare you touch her?!" He had tears in his eyes as he hit him. His vision blurred but his movements didn't lose its momentum. He didn't see the blood coming out of his mouth, he didn't see the trembling of his body cease, he didn't see any of it.

Till someone held his arm from the side.

"Daniel stop! You killed him!"

The words didn't hit him. He still had the rod tight in his grip as he made sure that he man lying on the floor will not move an inch, ever. Meera tried to push his hand away from there so that he won't hit the dead man any more.

"DANIEL!" She moved back with tears streaming down her cheeks when she saw how his hands stopped mid air. The rod dropped from his now trembling hands as his pupils shook. Meera slowly stepped towards him seeing that he was scared of himself. The way he looked at his own bloody hands screamed fear.

She gently touched his arm but he moved back. "Daniel please-" her words were stuck in her throat when she heard police sirens. Her eyes widened in horror realising that the sirens were getting louder. She immediately held his forearm. "We should leave first!" She tried to pull him to her but he didn't move a step. He was too in shock to hear the loud noise ringing in his ears. He turned around to look at TOP's lifeless body and then looked in front to see Seungri's body in a pool of blood. His hands started trembling more. He then held his hand while Meera desperately wanted to leave the scene. She was torn. She wanted them to leave but also wanted to help Daniel.

"Daniel! Look at me!"

She tried to hold his hands but he simply moved back. Meera wasn't giving up either. She stepped towards him and held his cheeks. "Baby please. Please..." Her voice was soft and desperate. It was then she could hear the screeching of tires. Her eyes widened and she started pulling Daniel by his sleeve. "We have to leave Daniel! Now!" The man nodded rapidly. Meera's body was in pain with all the things that happened and the things which were happening at the moment.

But before they could actually leave two police cars stopped right at the opening of the alley. The couple stood frozen when the officers quickly got out of the car. "Hands behind the head!" One of the officer commanded and the couple slowly raised their empty arms to the back of their heads. A lady officer reached them and nodded back at her colleagues in confirmation that the 'suspects' didn't have any harmful object.

"What the.." the tallest of the officer, Officer Lou looked at Seungri's body while the lady officer's eyes scanned TOP's bloody body.

The shorter of the two officers stepped towards the couple before showing his badge. "I'm officer StVan..." then he looked Daniel in the eye, "you are under arrest for murdering two people." He then looked around before asking his taller colleague to handcuff Daniel while the lady officer helped Meera.

"No! He didn't do anything! Who told you that?!" Meera shouted at the men in blue. Her eyes were red because of all the crying. She desperately grabbed Daniel's arm to stop him from leaving.

"Mam please. We don't want to hurt you." The lady officer tried to hold her back but she wasn't ready to listen. "Why are the fuck are you taking him when he didn't do anything wrong?! Leave him!" Her grip on his arm tightened. "Daniel please! Tell them that you didn't do anything. You were just trying to protect me! Tell them!"

Daniel couldn't utter a single word. He couldn't control his own body. Everything in his mind was a blur. He saw the pain in her eyes as he was being taken away. He then closed his eyes hoping that this way he won't be able to see the pain and desperation in her eyes. "Daniel! Please! Officers! He was just protecting me!" She wanted to do everything in her power to stop Daniel. She didn't care if there were people watching her. She walked with pain in her belly while banging her hands on the window of the car.

"C-can you please make sure that she r-reaches home safely?" Daniel asked for a favour from the lady officer.

"That won't be needed."

Mr. Han, their landlord was there with four more people who came out of their house hearing the commotion. The old man immediately came to Meera's side to help her as the cars drove aware.

"DANIEL!"

"Oh my."

The land lord's mother sat next to Meera while stroking her hair. The man's wife prepared a tea for her so that she could calm down from the shock.

"Don't worry. We will go to the police station tomorrow and see what we can do." Meera could only nod. What more she could do? She was blankly staring at the tea as the older people looked at her with pity. She is so young and had to suffer so much at this age.

"Why don't you sleep here with me tonight? I will be by your side." The granny suggested to which Meera nodded. The thought of being without Daniel scared her. She looked down and broke down into more tears. She naturally rested her head on the granny's shoulder as she hugged her from the side.

"Oh Meera. Don't worry. Everything will be fine."
