Your POV:
I woke up and...cleaned myself off. After earlier events. Markus was sitting in a chair. Seemingly thinking.

"What's on your mind Leader of Deviants?" I asked playfully.

"Word is going a round that the deviant hunter is on his way to come and attempt to kill me...."

"That in itself is horrible and in sensing a but,"

"But according to some Tracis that came in earlier on...he may be on the verge of turning deviant himself. If I can convert him then maybe we have a chance if not...(Y/n) the next move is in your hands." He said looking at me.

"If you mean ruling Jericho then I think you meant to talk with North she's better fit-"

"She's too violent her methods involve war. We need to keep pushing foward with what we have been doing pacifism has gotten us too far and I trust North out on the field as a soldier but as a leader she would send us back to square one. That's why you must lead them if I die. By the next move I mean...whatever you have to do in that moment. Even if....you have to... kill him to save me..do what you see fit."

"Markus that is a hell of a lot of pressure..." I say backing up into a wall holding my stomach.

He cupped my cheeks. "You taught me love and kindness way before I knew what feelings were. You and Carl showed me that I could be my own person....You showed me how to be human...I know that you can do this." He said before kissing my lips.

"Markus....I. Can't. lose you." I sob.

"I'm not saying you will. I just want you to be prepared for the worse case scenario."

"If you're saying I taught you everything you know.Then you know not to speak negatively as if its gonna happen. Never..ever. Speak like that again." I say wiping my tears.

"It's just in case.."

"It's negative thinking....I refuse to think that way." I say crying into his chest.

"I know.." He whispered.

"Hate to break up the sentimental moment but 3 newcomers just walked in. One asking for Markus," Rafael said.

"Send them up," Markus said before kissing me. "I remember to keep my head high...but to be realistic about the situation. Because that's what I have to do. Be prepared for every possible outcome even the bad ones. I need you to be that way for me." He says quietly.

"I'll try..." I whisper.

He let me go and a familiar voice called out.

"Are you Markus?"

I turned around. "Kara?" I asked.

"(Y/n).." She said.

"What are you doing here?  I thought you  would have been gone by now," I said hugging her.

"Another human helped us get here for passports." Kara said.

"Is Alice OK?" I asked.

"Running a fever,"

"I will go check on her," I said running out of the room.

Markus's POV:

"I am assuming you and (Y/n) know each other," I say smiling

"She let me take refuge at her house a couple of days ago...I'm with a little girl and another android... There's a bus leaving for the border and less than 2 hours and we need passports,"

"No, Detroit's under curfew," I say. "They're rounding up Androids and sending them to camps Maybe you should...stay here a while." I advise.

"Maybe you're right," Kara said softly. "We better stay here until things calm down,"

"One of our people used to work in the state department. he has electronic passports he can easily modify. I'll have him give them to you. (Y/n) will help you get settled in for the night." I told her.

"Thank you," She said quietly before turning to leave

"Your welcome," I say.

(Y/n) walked in. "Deviant hunter is in the building Markus. Lucy pointed him out." She said panicking.

"Relax.." I tell her. "Leave him to me, blend with the others stay close. You will know when you're needed. Go," I said calmly.

She hesitantly listened.

Your Pov:

I walled over to Kara and Alice.

"So you finally know?" I asked Kara. She nodded.

"I was beginning to think I would have to tell you myself. But Luther stopped me." I sad smiling. I looked over at the deviant hunter only for a second. He seemed to be looking directly at me. "Excuse me, I have business to take care of," I say walking away. Before I could make my way to him Simon called me.

I went upstairs and walked over to him.

"What is it?" I asked.

"We're having a meeting. Markus told me to get you." Simon told me. I followed him to the bottom floor of the boat where Jericho used to be. Everything was silent until Josh spoke as he paced back and forth.

"We're short on blue blood and biocomponents. Our wounded is shutting down and there's no thing we can do!!" He said upset.

"President Warren is saying we're a threat to national security and we need to be exterminated." Simon said sadly.

"Humans are conducting raids in bigger cities and they're taking androids to destroy them!" North exclaimed.

"It's a disaster, they're slaughtering our people!" Simon yelled.

"It's our fault... none of this would have happened if we just stayed quiet!!" Josh argued.
I huffed before putting my fingers to my lips and whistled. "Now you listen to me Josh and listen close. We may have base a lot of mistakes along the way. But starting this revolution in itself was not a mistake!" I yell.
"Markus told me when he first came here any android that was lucky enough to live here was most likely to stand in the shadows powered down to conserve juice. Waiting. And waiting for what?! Having is faith good but hope and pray all you want for a miracle. But it ain't gonna happen till you go out and work for it! Did you think they were just gonna hand you freedom and rights on a silver platter after a protest? No!! Did you see what they did to those African Americans when Martin Luther King marched with them? They used tear gas and then bombed a church that killed children. Don't you see a fucking pattern in history?! Humanity has a habit of shooting itself in the foot if you hadn't noticed.But don't ever say the blood, sweet and tears that went into this movement was a mistake!" I yell before calming down. "Because in the black people got there freedom and you will too." I say panting. "Now I'm pretty sure that Markus has something to say...I'm gonna distance myself. Because I need a drink but I can't find one so meditation is second best," I say quietly before sitting on the sidelines with my arm's crossed.

"I did what I could for all of us." Markus said quietly. "We just wanna be free!" He said

"Ouch, felt that heat.." I muttered.

"What's the pont of being free if no one is alive?" Josh asked

"I just did a whole rant on this and he can't seems through his thick synthetic skull." I said banging my head against the wall. "This always happens I speak the truth and everybody ignores me like I'm a fucking ghost." I say to myself.

"Humans enslaved us! I'll never regret standing up against that!" Markus yelled.

"Y'all are seriously wasting precious time arguing. Forgetting the real enemy.What really really need to focus on is what's our next move." I said facepalming

"We can't forget who our real enemies are. We can't fight amongst ourselves." Simon said.

"I just said that." I muttered to myself. "I'm done talking to y'all. In fact I like this wall better." I mutter.

"He's right, All that matters is what we do next," North said.

"Said that too, They are all just taking my words and twisting them into their own. Unbelievable." I say to the wall.

"Markus?" North said.

"I'm gonna need help on this." Markus said before turning to me.

"-it's like I'm Ellen when she edits herself into movie scenes for fun but they make it like they are actually responding to her...how did they do that?"  I said looking at the wall.

"Ahem," Markus said.

I looked over to realize everyone was looking at me. "Oh so now you wanna acknowledge human. When I got something to say I'm invisible but when ya need somethimg I'm famous,"

"(Y/n)..." Markus said in a warning tone.

"Fine of course I will help. I don't got an option. Last chance for talking then after this...We're doing this Mocking jay Prt.2. Style.  I will be Haymitch. Markus will be Katniss and North will Gale. Simon hmm...Prim Josh..definitely Effie." I joked no one laughed. "Fine. I'll be Effie and Haymitch."

"Well...that's our plan. Talking one last time," Markus said.

"Can we go now? I feel my stress level going through the roof." I say

"Meeting adjourned." Markus said.

Markus's POV:

"Any news on the Hunter?" I asked (Y/n) as we walked into our room.

"He was staring at me. Earlier before you summoned me. I was doing to approaching him-"

"Why?!" I questioned.

"Because he was staring at me. I wanted to know if everything was OK. I need to at least act like he isn't a hunter." She said.

"After our previous march the world knows you're with us. Who know a what else that could have found out at this point they'll could have found out we're dating and they'd use you against me." I said.

"Markus for them to peice that together they would have to have an inside man. How could they find that out based off my first appearance. I'm basically like Lafayette from Hamilton the musical when he did Guns and Ships. I came outta nowhere and shook the crowd." She exaggerated.

"Still be careful and stick close to...Rafael.." I hesitated.

"Did you appoint him to be my bodyguard?"

"He is now...so go please." I say.

She sighed. "Fine," She said walking away. I grabbed her hand.

"You're forgetting something." I say with a smile.

"Oh right," She said turning towards me. She leaned in and so did I and she kissed my cheek. I frowned and she giggled.

"That was very misleading Doctor." I say.

"That was the point." She teased.

I grabbed her by the waist and kissed her passionately. "Now you're free to go," I said after I pulled away.

"Yes,Sir." She said in a flirtatious tone before leaving the room.

I sat down on the couch and let my thoughts consume me again. 

This is all so very risky but...it's the only way.

North came in.

"Markus there is something I need to tell you that I couldn't say in front of the group." She said.

"What is it?" I asked looking at her.

"Today a deviant arrived in Jericho and he  told me that he stole a truck transporting radioactive colbolt...he sad that he had abandoned the truck somewhere in Detroit  and rigged it to explode...I convinced him not to do it and to give me the detonator," she said revealing it to me.

I stood up looking at it.

A dirty bomb

"We can't lose this war Markus," She said shaking her head. "If humans overcome us..our people will disappear forever. This may be our only chance to survive if things go wrong."

I took it from her and put it in my pocket. "Send (Y/n) up here please," I said sitting and holding my head in my hands.

(Y/n) came in. "North told me everything..." She said sitting beside me.

"This goes against everything I've been preaching to them (Y/n)...but I'm starting to feel like it's the only way now. They are sending my people off to camps and slaughtering them like animals or shooting them right on the spot like it's hunting season." I said crying she pulled me into a hug.

"You did the right thing. You are right in your actions. You tried to be peaceful... Now they are backing you onto a corner and it seems like its time to fight back. It just might be time to go to war..."

"I've been saying that if I have to die for this cause I will....but I don't want to." I confess. "(Y/n)...I don't want to die." I says quietly.

"Markus...there is something I need to tell you.." She sighed. "You know the tale of RA9?" She questioned.

"Yes...they say he was the first of us to awaken. But no one knows what he looked like or whatever happened to him..."

"It's not a tale and RA9...is looking at me right now.."
