Your POV:

The next morning we were packed and ready to go.

"Ready to go?" Markus asked.

I honestly didn't want to go home. I wanted us to be like this forever.

"No." I sighed.

"I understand," Markus said smiling as he pulled me into him by my waist. "This was a very good mini vacation."

"The best mini vacation."  I say before kissing him.

"Alright Ms.Kamski we should go if we plan on getting home before 12 tomorrow morning."

I hummed before nodding.  I let him go and grab a bag. We leave for the airport then get in the Jet.

"When you want to start planning?" Markus asked.

"I believe it would be good to plan after we tell everyone. Let's tell them through a video call though. We have a meeting on wednesday so we don't have time to visit them all and tell them." I say.

Markus nodded. "Good plan."

We finally got home. I still longed to stay in France forever but we still had work to do.

"How do you feel?" Markus asked as we put our things away.

I wrapped my arms around his waist and looked him in the eyes. "Mmm chiamiamo il jet privato e torniamo in Francia finché siamo ancora in grado. nessuno se ne accorgerà." I mutter smiling.

( let's call the private jet back and fly to Paris while we still can no one will notice)

"È allettante quanto la tua offerta. temo di non poterlo permettere."

( as tempting as your offer is I'm afraid I can't allow it.)

I pout and he chuckles at my childishly expression before kissing my forehead.

"Come on let's tell everyone the big news." Markus said taking me to the living room where we had set up the lap top on the coffee table.
We sat in the couch and got everything set before getting in a video call with Elijah, Rafael,Vee and the gang.

"Why the hell are there so many people in this damn video call?" Rafael questioned.

"For simplicity sake. We have something to tell you all." I say smiling.

"You're engaged." Elijah said bluntly.

"What?!" Vee and Rafael exclaimed.

"First off it was our job to say it!  Second of all...how the tell could you tell!? My ring wasn't even in the frame!!"

"Markus asked for my blessing on our parents' behalf. I agreed though I had told him it might be a little too early for marriage." Elijah said.

My heart began to warm up more than it already was. I looked over at Markus.

"I believed it would be important that your eldest brother didn't despise the idea of me being with you forever." He said. I smiled at him.

"Fuck that! Ya'll are getting married?!" Rafael questioned.

"Yes we haven't covered all the specifics yet and you are all the first to know. So please don't tell anyone." I plead.

"We won't say a word." Connor promises with his everlasting charismatic smile.

"I'm gonna be the maid of honor! That spot has been claimed!!!!" Vee claimed.

I smiled. "Of course that spot is all yours I couldn't think of a better Maid of honor. Though I need some bridesmaids..." I mention.

"I'm sure some androids from the sanctuary wouldn't mind taking those spots if we went to go ask." Markus says with his hand on my back.

"Hopefully so..speaking of the sanctuary how are things over there Connor?" I asked.

"As I promised the both of you I would jeep everything in order and I am. We have more androids coming in seeking help and we help them." Connor says.

"Today Simon and I found a landlord willing to let androids into his apartment complex." Josh said smiling.

I smiled excitedly. "That is amazing! That's perfect!"

"Please send him our thanks." Markus said.

"We will," Simon said smiling.

"Can we get back to the wedding though!?" Vee asked.

"They haven't even planned anything yet Vee." Elijah said.

"But wait where is the wedding gonna be held in Washington DC or Detroit?" Vee asked.

"We haven't decided yet." I chuckle.

"Well when you do know let me know Rafa and I will fly down and I'll help!" She says excitedly.

"We will notify everyone as soon as we possibly can." Markus said.

"Congratulations on the engagement. You make a very strong and beautiful couple." Connor says smiling.

"Thank you Connor and once again thank you for watching over everyone while we aren't there." Markus said gratefully.

"It is the least I could do after-"

"Connor it's in the past and it's not your fault." I say to him.

"Well I am tired so I am going to go to sleep if you don't mind." Elijah sighed.

"We should all get going." I say.

"Congrats mom and Markus aka dad!" Vee says.

"Man this is gonna be weird for me."  Rafael muttered. "Do I have to call you that?" He questioned.

"Hell no!" I said.

"OK good." He said relieved.

"Congrats you two." Simon and Josh said.

"Thank guys..bye!" I say smiling.

We ended the call.
