I woke up in my pajamas:

I didn't even remember changing. But then again I don't remember ever buying these pajamas.
I got up and went outside of the room.

"Merry Christmas!" Vee said.

I gave her a sleepy smile. "Merry Christmas. Where's-"

"The best brother in the whole wide world? Don't flatter me I'm right here." Elijah said before drinking his coffee.

"I wasn't planning on it. But where is Markus?"

"He went to go get someone a certain gift. mean while he said to start without him." Elijah said.

"Well obviously leave Markus's gift for last. But Let's start with the Canada lass herself Vee Kamski!" I say smiling.

She sat down near the tree gathering all the gifts in front of her.

"First gift is from Uncle Kamski," Vee said smiling. I took out my phone and took pictures as she  opened the box.

"A kimono!?" She exclaimed excitedly.

Elijah smiled proudly. "I had it shipped from japan earlier this month.

"Even though you can buy one at a prop store somewhere near by." I muttered.

"Like your gifts are any better." Elijah challenged.

"See I got you more than one gift." I say smiling.

"The price of that Kimono is most likely the total cost if all your gifts combined."

"Excuse me are you seriously calling me cheap?" I say insulted.

"Well I'm not calling you a big spender." Elijah smirked.

You wanna bet?" I teased.

"Yes actually let's make Christmas interesting." He smirked.

"Seriously a bet?" Vee questioned.

"We used to bet on a lot of things trust me our gambling habits have decreased." I chuckled drily. "Just open your gifts from Markus and I," I say excitedly.

She picked up a big rectangular box. "It's kinda...heavy." She said unwrapping the paper to reveal the white rectangle box.

I smirked as she took the lid off and I watched the look on her face as if she just opened the gates of heaven herself.
"Are you crazy!? This is almost a thousand dollars worth of lip kits!" She exclaimed smiling.

"I wasn't sure which ones you wanted so I almost brought out the whole online store though some of them were sold out."

She got up and hugged me so tightly."Thank you soo much mommy! I've been trying to get them but everytime I go to the online store they were too much or sold out!"

"Nng once again...too tight." I groaned

"I didn't mess up your stitches did i!?" She exclaimed quickly letting go."

"No my stitches are dissipating. But you just have to be careful because they hurt when you squeeze too tight." I say smiling. "But I'm glad you like your new collection. Open your other gifts!" I say smiling.

"How much was all that? 350? Plus taxes?" Elijah asked.

"I'm not revealing the price until everything is opened." I say smiling.

Vee quickly went to the other gift. "Everything is in a box I never know what to expect!!" Vee said excitedly unwrapping the present. "Mom...where in the hell did you get this?! This is a limited edition gucci bag!! They stopped making these like 30 years ago!!"

"Let's just say I know a certain Star...Jeffree Star before he passed he gave this to me for my birthday but I had no use for it."

Kamski rolled his eyes. "Hand me downs don't count," He muttered.

"You never said that plus that bag as you can tell is in mint condition." I flaunt.

"So give me total price.." Elijah sighed annoyed.

"All those lip kits are 872.00$ in total and that bag in Jeffree's words...a couple hundred thousand no big deal." I say playfully.

"How much do I owe you?" Elijaj sighed.

"630 but I don't want it directly...put it into charity. Specifically the one Markus and I are trying to jumpstart soon...In fact...you should be the first donor." I said smiling.

"I can't remember the last time I won a bet against you." Elijah mutters.

"The third bet we ever made when I was 16." I recall quickly.

Soon the front door opens. I turned to see Markus and of course I smile.

"Good Morning Kamski family." he said.

"Morning Markus." Elijah and Vee said in unison.

Markus then walked towards me.  "Love,"

I smiled. "Hi there," i said before giving him a kiss. "Merry Christmas,"

"Merry Christmas,"

"Thank you for my gift it's very soft." I say smiling.

"You were complaining about not having enough long sleeved pajamas so I got more."

"Hey Love birds you are in the room with two others present keep the pda to a low please." Elijah pleaded.

"Speaking of which I actually have someone who you might wanna see." Markus said smiling. I raised an eyebrow.
"You can come in," He says to someone behind me when I turned around I couldn't believe it.

"Rafa?!" I questioned.

He gave me a big smile. "C'mon...did you really think I would die? Who else is gonna protect your stubborn ass and  put up with your lame nerdy jokes?" He chuckled.

"Words hurt you asshole," I say playfully punching him before hugging him tightly. I couldn't help but let the tears of joy flow like nile. "How the hell are you even alive!?" I questioned.

"I called Mr.Kamski and he told me that if I could I should get somewh
ere hidden until his friend comes. But then the military got to me first luckily Elijah's friend came by and knocked them out and got me outta there then fixed me up." He said.

"I'm so glad you're ok," I say hugging him.

"Glad to be ok and be able to walk the streets without fear...for the most part atleast."

I looked at Markus. "Nobody hassled you right Markus?" I questioned.

"No one would dare." Markus said with a small smile.

"Good...it is the wrong day even do that," I say sighing in relief. "But Rafa I want you to  meet my brother whom you already talked to in the phone.-"

"Elijah Kamski. You're not as boring as everyone makes you out to be." Rafael said shaking his hand.

"I have the youngling to thank for the live like personality."

"That drag aside- here is my daughter Vee."

Vee got up and shook Rafael's hand.

"I remember Vee very well. You talked a lot about her and your journey on Europe." Rafael reminded me. "It is very nice to finally meet  you Vee."

"...Likewise and..Merry Christmas." She said before biting her lip.

My eyebrows shot up as I looked between the two of them. They are still holding hands. "Uh.." I say before breaking their elongated handshake by slapping there hands. "Handshake should be no longer than 10 seconds ya'll were borderlining a full minute." I say squinting my eyes at the suspiciously.

"Can we please open gifts?" Elijah asked.

"Yess Elijah open yours." I say excitedly.

"If you're feeling well enough we have to go  the refuge." Markus said to me.

"I feel well enough to get to work as soon as possible." I admit.

"After break of course." Markus said.

"Right," i say nodding.

So Christmas day went by full of joy and laughter as it should have. But it was when we were all sitting around the fire watching the Home Alone marathon. That I knew this was the best Christmas ever.

After all the excitement died down. Markus took Rafael back and Elijah went to bed leaving me and Vee to talk.

I sighed in content as I collapsed on the couch beside her. "What a wonderful day." I say smiling.

"It really was." Vee said smiling.

"Now...let's talk about your job...and why I don't believe that a diner pays that well." I say not taking my eyes off the ceiling.

"...I just don't know how you'll take it...." She started nervously.

"Let me see in the course about a week I lost my father figure to a heart attack. Buried him in the same day. Found out the android I fell in love with was not dead. I went into revolution with him. Got shot, popped my stitches and pulled a muscle.... Not to mention a bit of head trauma. But trust me I can miraculously adjust to those big life changes without problem...whatever you tell me can't be that bad."

"I'm an exotic dancer..." She said shriveling back a bit.

"Aaaaaaand that's bad." I say. "Honey why... And why did you lie?"

"I didn't lie at first! I was working in a diner but then we got shut down because of health violations and I needed cash and fast because bills needed to be paid.but...i'm not gonna lie I felt too prideful to come to uncle Kamski or you for money after your first phone call you were so proud of me and I didn't want to change that. Right on time a man came to me saying he knew of a way to get quick cash."

"Stripping.."

"Precisely..."

I sighed and muttered curse words in spanish under my breath as I dragged my hand down my face. "Just outta curiosity do you have a strip name?"

"Vee the Vixen..."

"Yup I seen that coming- okay Vee I myself know it's hard when you want to make it out there on your own. But when you have two people that are filthy rich and willing to help. It's not bad thing bad thing to ask for a little help until you get on your feet. We all have times in our life where we need a little boost in order to get to the next step. But Uncle Kamski,Markus and Me we're here to help because thats what a family does. We help each other out dear. You don't have to be ashamed to come to us for help because I understand. You don't have to feel like you're being backed into a corner because you have back-up. Pride is a bitch and sometimes you have to put her to the side. In order to do what you have to. But revealing yourself to the thirsty eyes of highly aroused men,woman and possibly non binaries...is not the way to do it. You are worth way more than that." I say before hugging her.

"Thanks mom,"

"No problem...now let's have the sex talk.."

"Oh god......"

December 31st, 2038 8:30PM

"You look very beautiful tonight," Markus said wrapping his arms around my waist and peppered kisses along my neck. I smiled as I turn and wrap my arms around his neck.

"You don't look too bad yourself Mr.Manfred."

"I still have some adjusting to do with that name but I like the new clothes you gave me. They are very comfortable." Markus states.

"Good, that's what I was aiming for. So who's coming over?" I questioned.

"Simon,Josh,Leo, Rafael,Hank and Connor. Also some people Elijah invited."

I furrowed my eye brows. "What about North?" I questioned.

"She took off with not a word other than a note reading: don't come looking for me."

"Right when I thought I was making progress with her." I say disappointed.

"I know you tried to get close to her but I guess there are some things she has to sort out with herself." He predicted. "But I will never understand why you are so concerned with her. When you're all that matters here." He says smirking before kissing my neck.

"Heartache isn't fun and she's new to all the emotions she's gonna feel. I've been feeling them since I was about 15. I just want to help her get through them." I admit.

"Maybe we can try to navigate her later if you really want to." Markus suggested.

"Of course."

"Mean while we should get going...apparently Vee is putting this on YouTube." Markus muttered.

I smiled. "Did she say why?"

"Something about publicity. We better get going I promised Connor to lower the amount of alcohol in here before Hank comes."

"Hank is still having problems?" I asked frowning as we walked out of our room.

"He's getting better he's not drinking every chance he gets and he's not playing Russians roulette anymore so that rules out his suicidal tendencies."

"That's good one step at a time."

"Mom! Markus! My goodness you guys are on fire!!" Vee said excitedly.

"Well I was unaware we were being recorded until now. Glad I dressed to impress." I say.

"I've been dying for you to see me rock the new Kardashian lip kit!"

"I see you are in love with it. You've worn one for each day this week." I chuckled.

"Oh and Markus I plan on assembling my lip kit display when I get home that was really A big help. I had no idea where I was gonna fit all those lipsticks." She rambled.

"It was team effort." I say smiling.

"As always you two are nearly inseparable. Well I need to get going and so do you I want you guys to greet the guest and I will set up the tripods."

"Where's your uncle?" I questioned.

"Getting ready." Vee answered before taking off.

"I swear he takes the longest." I groaned.

"I will hurry him for you. You go wait for the guest."

"Thank you," I say before kissing his cheek.

I wait near the door and Vee came up with a camera.
"Here she is the woman herself Mother of Deviants. How are you doing today Ms.Kamski."

I smiled. "I'm doing great. Ready to get the party started so I can go to sleep we have a lot planned for the new year." I say smiling.

"Think you could give us a little small hint of what's to come."

"I'll give you one word: Change. That is one thing you will definitely see a lot of. Some not everyone will like but this is the price of freedom..contradictions and disagreements." I shrug.

"Deep and philosophical as always. Where's Markus?" Vee asked.

"He'll be out and about in a bit." I said smiling.

Vee went off talking to them camera meanwhile there was a knock on the door there stood Hank and Connor.

"Hey guys!" I say giving Connor and Hank a hug.

"Hello (Y/n) it is great to see you again." Connor says.

"Great to see you again as well. Hank how have you been. My ass is sore from having this bug being up it all the time." He grumbled.

I smiled. "You say it as if you despise the fact that he cares for you. Though we all know you're glad." I chuckle.

"Yea, yea where's the booze don't worry I know my limit."

"We don't have booze only wine and please do know your limits this is going on a lot of social media sites." I say to him.

"I'll try to keep that in mind." Hank said before walking away with Connor following. Behind Hank and Connor were waiting Simon,Josh and Rafael.

"Hey Rafa," I said smiling.

"Hey (Y/n), place is looking amazing for this party." He said smiling.

"Vee and I spent a while on everything earlier." I admitted.

"Speaking of Vee where is she?" He questioned.

"Somewhere around her interviewing anyone she can go be apart of it if you love her attention so much." I tease.

Rafael rolled his eyes before leaving.

Suddenly some seemingly college students came in. My eyes widened in confusion.

"Uhm...who are you guys?" I questioned.

They all showed me a pass. "We are here on business calls. Mr.Kamski granted us the privilege to meet You and Markus for interviews for the college papers. You are all the rage right now and for us to have had a interview or at least a conversation with the couple of the hours would shake the campus grounds of WSU!!" The dark

haired girl said.

"I was unaware he invited College student give me a moment." I looked over to the nearest guard which happened to be Randal. "Hey Randal please ask Kamski of he invited College kids to the party."

"Right away Ms.Kamski." He paid before walking away.

"Are you all of age to drink because I'm not sending Tipsy ducklings to the campus and they aren't legal " I ask the trio.

"Oh we can't drink that'd be unproffesional." A girl with grey hair said

"Ms.Kamski Elijah told me to relay that he did invite these three."

I sigh. "A warning would be nice. Markus and I are on our break for now. Well we're supposed to be." I mutter. "But it would be a waste for you guys to come this far and leave empty handed so once I find Markus we can start."

"I overheard my name. What's happening over here?" Markus asked standing beside me.

"Markus these are students from...."

"WSU.." The only guy completed my sentence.

"To interview us for their paper."

"Wayne State University... That a nice college?" Markus asked.

"It's like every college it has it's upsides and downsides." The raven headed girl said

"Can you please introduce yourselves?" I asked.

"Oh of course...I'm Dawn." The raven haired girl said.

"I'm Ashley." The grey haired girl said

"I'm Nicholas." The only guy said

"Great if you guys could follow me so we can do this interview." I say ushering them to a couch. The interview was flourishing with good questions...some weird and some very personal. But all in all wasn't a bad interview after the interview we actually talked to the students about their political view points they all had very strong opinions. It enthralled me to see the youth of our nation taking part of our government. They ask supported the cause and offered to help anyway they could. I told them it was best for now to just keep supporting the cause. Help open prejudice eyes to a brand new light of revelation. Afterwards we all began the count down.

"10! 9! 8! 7! 6! 5! 4! 3! 2!....1!!!! Happy New year!!!"

Markus and I kissed to keep the old kiss on New year s tradition alive.

After the quick celebration I grabbed a glass of wine and hit the body of the glass gently with a fork.

"Attention everyone I have something to say." Markus says and everyone quiets down and looks at him. Meanwhile I stand with the owd.

"Last year was a breakthrough for Androids of every sort. Though we can walk the streets without being chained to our commands there is still much work to be done.This year we will progress towards true freedom for androids.... This year we hope for the prejudice to realize the error in there ways. We hope to build a strong foundation for a peaceful future not only for Humans and androids. But for our nations at war...This year we hope that those with a heart of stone clean their hearts of hatred and come to a peaceful resolution. That's why (Y/n) and I have decided to donate 800$ dollars to not only the Equal Rights Movement but also The Global Peace foundation as well as 1,000 to red cross to aid anyone that has lost to the damage of a natural disaster."

Everyone clapped including me.
"Do you have anything you wish to say Dr.Kamski."

I stepped beside Markus. "It is no secret that during the time of the movement we've all done some a heroic things. Of course Markus being the leader.  Simon,Josh and one dear friend who couldn't  make it. Became the special ops squad when it came to delivering the message on Stratford tower. Elijah came to my aid when I was shot in the side coming in with medical supplies and giving me a place to recover for like a couple of hours...Connor was the risk taking badass who infiltrated cyberlife. Rafael was the main man for keeping me on a leash when Markus wasn't around to do it himself.." I joke. "Trust me I'm a handful. But it doesn't take a bold act such as taking a bullet to make you a hero. We live in a day and age where words hold just as much power as any gun and if you can use your words carefully you can be a hero. This year I challenge you to challenge yourself. Simple task: everyday commit one act of kindness and if you're feeling daring do more. Because when you think about it. Hate is the root of all racism,bullying,prejudice, wars. It's all hate. If you can do one simple thing such as ask someone how there day way. You never know how much it could mean to that person. Commit enough acts and soon enough you will have touched a person's heart without realizing it and the kindness will spread like a plague. In order to change the nation you have to start at a smaller scale. You and your environment. Here's to the good things that are to come." I say making a toast.

It wasn't long before the party was finally over and I was exhausted and a little buzzed.

I giggle as I ran to the room.

Markus walked in behind me with a small smile. "Alright Ms.Kamski it's time for you to go to bed." He said.

"Well...what if..I don't feel like it?" I asked sitting in the bed.

"Then I will have to tire you out. But you need to sleep we need to go house hunting tomorrow and we need to find somewhere to stay in Washington DC to talk with the President keep in mind we might be there for a while."

"So maybe we should look for places in DC and put the other house search on hold?" I question.

"I was thinking the same thing." Markus agrees.

I sigh as I take off my heels. "This is gonna be one crazy year."

"It won't be easy but every step will make a difference somewhere."

"A step is progress and progress and good." I say laying down. Markus laid down beside me and we faced reach other.

"Your speech was amazing." Markus said playing with my hair which ever so easily soothes me.

"It was some that needed to be said. We apparently have a lot of power. Not yet politically but Influencer wise. If we use what power we have by time we get to the state capitol we can have over half the country open to the idea of androids being treated as equals." I said giving him a small smile.

Markus kissed my forehead. "That would be ideal."

"Yea... Happy New Years.." I say smiling.

"Happy new years Love." Markus said caressing my cheek.
