2 years later:

Your POV:

Today was the day I was going home to Detroit. I was smiling more than I have been these past two years.

"Do we have everything Vee?" I asked her as we leave out of the temporary house we were staying in.

"Yea, We have everything," She said smiling.

Over the past two years, Vee has developed more of a personality than when I first got her. She had indeed as Kamski said kept me company and she in fact became somewhat of a daughter to me.

"Great! Detroit, Here we come!" I say smiling.

Vee giggled at me. "Someone is really happy to be going home," She teased.

"Of course! I mean Europe is beautiful. I enjoyed all the sights and adventures it had to offer but it never ever beats the comfort of your own home," I say as we load our rented car.

"I guess you could say that," She said with a smile.

We got on the plane of course due to rules androids had to get on there own part of the plane. It sickened me that I had to sit away from my best friend because of a nation that was undeniably still divided. But there was nothing I could do.

8 hours later...

Markus POV:

I opened the curtains and gave Carl the weather forecast for today as usual.
But today was a very special day. A day Carl and I have been waiting 2 years for.

"In other new today is the day (Y/n) and Vee return," I state with a small smile.

Carl smiled as well. "Ah, that's right.Did you pick up her gift?"

"Of course," I told him as I readied his medicine I sat beside him on the bed.

"Please show me your arm Carl," I say he gives me his arm and I administrated the medicine. "Thank you," I say. I pick him up and get him dressed before taking him down stairs for breakfast.

"Today is gonna be a good day I can sense it," He says as he's eating.

I smiled at him. "Yes, It will be,"

"Heard from Leo at all today?"

"No, do you wish for me to call him?"

"God no, If I called he'd beg for cash before I even get a word out," He sighed.

Your POV:

We finally arrived at the airport. Once I found Vee and we got our luggage. I looked over to see a Tall man in a black suit holding up a card with my name on it.

I smirked knowing it was most likely Kamski. Vee and I followed him into the limousine to his house.
Once we got there Kamski was waiting in front of the door with a smile on his face. I ran up to him and gave him a gigantic hug.

"I missed you," He said quietly.

I giggled. "I missed you too," I say as I pull away.

"Vee,my god look at you, glowing as brightly when I first saw you and forever glowing." Elijah said hugging her.

"She's developed her own sense of style now," I said proudly.

"I can tell, she looks radiant," He commented looking at her. "Well come inside! We have catching up to do." He said keeping the door open for me and Vee.

We sat near the pool.

"Are you hungry? Would you like anything to drink?" Kamski asked.

"Tea," I say and within a seconds tea was in front of me.

"I knew you would want that but anything else?"

I smiled at him. "No, this will be good," I take a sip before I spilled about touring Europe.

"I'm glad you had fun. But I'm happier that you're back home safe said.

I smiled. "Yes, it's great to be home," I sighed in contentment.

"But you should be getting home now. You must feel tired after that long flight." He said standing up.

"A little bit yes," I admit. 

"I'll walk you out," He said.

"Come on Vee let's get home,"I say.

"Will we be meeting Carl and Markus before you go to sleep?" Vee asked.

"Of course,"

"Who?" Elijah questioned.

"Carl Manfred and his android Markus," I said.

"The Carl Manfred?" Elijah questioned.

"Yes,"

"Gee (Y/n), when you said you wouldn't mind dating an older guy this was not what I had imagined," He joked with a evil smirk and I playfully punched him on the shoulder.

"You jerk! Carl is like a father figure to me," I say.

"I figured, I was only joking.". He said laughing.

"I hate you sometimes," I say.

"Nah you love me," He hugged me one last time before I left.
I had finally arrived at home. I admired my beautiful mansion before going insider and unpacking my things and grabbing souvenirs I bought for Markus and Carl. Vee decided she wanted to stay behind. So I giddily went next door with my small bag in my hand. I knocked on the door and my heart was basically leaping out if my chest every milisecond I was waiting. Final the door opened there stood Markus the sight of him took my breath away. Of course he did not age one bit and I wasn't expecting him to considering he was an android. But I still believed he was for some reason handsomer than I first remembered.

"Markus!" I say smiling as I hugged him tightly and he hugged me back with the same excitement.

"It's so good to see you again (Y/n)," He said.

"It's good to see you too Markus," I say before letting him go.

"Come in, Carl is in his studio he'll be happy to see you," Markus said as he grabbed my hand and gently guided me to Carl's studio.

"Carl look who's back," Markus said.

Carl turn away from his oversized painting and looked over at me with a smile.

"Is that who I think it is?" He asked.

"Indeed it is," I say going over to him and giving him a hug.

"It is so great to see you again (Y/n),"

"It's been far too long," I say.

"We've been counting down the days until you arrived and here you are finally. Where's Vee?"

"She stayed home," I said.

"Oh it would have been great to see her too," Carl said.

"Do not fear I will bring her by tomorrow morning," I say.

"Wonderful, we have some catching up to do and I want to see these photos you've taken," Carl said.

"I'm afraid you'll have to wait until they've hit them exhibit near week. I've already turned in all the photos. But I have so many stories!"

"Them we better carry this into the living room.  Markus if you don't mind," Carl said and Markus wheeled him into the living room. Where I had began to go on about my many experiences across Europe.

Markus POV:

When I had first seen (Y/n) I felt a strange bubbly feeling take place. One that I could not explain. It was safe to say that over the course of two years she had aged beautifully and looked more mature than the last time I saw her.

Carl had missed her terribly and would often ask if she had sent a message or a video possibly even a picture. In some cases she did did but her contact was not frequent.

I listened as she told her stories with such Passion and happiness. I......admired...that.

Your pov:

"-But speaking of Romania! I got you guys something from there on my spare time," I say as I get up.
"I mean it really isn't the most exquisite thing there but at the time I had blown all my cash on food," I said pulling out the bracelet I got for Carl. "For you Carl I made this Romanian bracelet!" I say giving it to him

"Are you kidding this is amazing you made this?" He asked.

I nodded. "There was a small shop offering to craft your own jewelry and I made that with some help of course," I admit before turning to Markus.

"Don't think I have forgotten about you Markus," I say smiling and he smiled back.

I reached into the small bag and pulled out a necklace. "Close your eyes," I say and he did so with a smile on his face. I put the necklace on him."You can open them now,"

"Its a romanian coin but I went to a jeweler and had him put your name on the back," I informed him.

Markus fiddled with the small coin and flipped it over to see his name. He smiled before pulling me into a hug.

"Thank you (Y/n) this is an amazing gift," He said.

"I'm glad you enjoy it," I say happily as I feel a new sort of feeling take form.

"It is getting late and the streets of Detroit have become more hazardous than they were 2 years ago," Markus informed me. "Would you like for me to walk you home?" He asked.

"Oh,no I'll be fine,"

"Nonsense, Markus walk her home," Carl commanded.

"Will do," Markus said.

"I guess this is an argument that I can't win," I say sighing with a smile Markus smiled back.

"Afraid so," Markus said with a small smile.

"Alright then I guess I'll be on my way," I say reaching down to hug Carl.

"It's great to have you back." Carl said.

"It's good to back back," I say smiling.

Markus cleared his throat.

"Well, good night Carl." I say.

"Good night (Y/n)," He says as Marcus walked me to the door. He opened up the door for me.

"Ladies first," He said and I went out before him. Once he had closed the door we began to walk.

I sighed happily as I took in my familiar surroundings. "It feels so good to be home," I say smiling.

"It's great to have you back. Carl and I haven't had a day where you didn't pop-up in our conversation." Markus admitted.

"Thank you for walking me home," I say as we walked to my front door.

"Why wouldn't I? You're family,"

I smiled and we looked at each other for a while. He was too human to be an android in my eyes. Every time he pops up in my head I forget he's an android. It's like that fact doesn't even matter. I can't deny that while on the trip I thought about him the most. I missed him the most.
I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him into a hug one he very quickly returned by wrapping his arms around my waist. Tightly. If I didn't know any better i'd say he was returning the feelings.

"I missed you Markus,"

"I..missed you too,"
