So just in case you're very confused basically someone on Tumblr who was a SleepyBois Inc fan made a post where they talked about everything that they know about the hermits despite not really watching them (You can see the post in my announcements if you want)

anyways apparently this person was experiencing some weird Mandela Effect because one of the hermits that they mentioned was named Gecko who as we all know doesn't exist

After this post was made everyone fell in love with the "new Hermitcraft member" and Gecko has now basically reached honorary Hermit status despite not being real

Now the best part about Gecko in my opinion is that because he doesn't really exists he can be whatever you want him to be GECKO CAN BE GOD IF YOU WISH

I like to think that he's Evil Xisuma's pet and an actual gecko
