MEERA'S POV

"I'm going now."

I said while wearing shoes. Hobi waved his hand and I opened the door to leave. I was in a better mood so I decided to meet my father. The weather was perfect and too much good to my liking.

I took a cab and reached my destination. But before I could enter the cemetery, my eyes found a flower shop. I smiled and made my way to the shop.

I'm meeting him after a long time, I shouldn't go empty handed.

"Hello. Welcome to good day flowers."

A petite woman welcomed me with a bright smile. "Hey." I greeted her and told her that I'm meeting my father and wished to surprise him with flowers.

"Sure."

The way I explained was enough for her to understand. She smiled softly and looked for the needed flowers.

"How about these?"

I saw yellow and purple flowers in her hand. She added a couple of greens to make a simple arrangement that wasn't so fancy but perfect
for me.

"These are pansies. They mean remembrance. I'm sure your father will like it."

I paid for them and took my leave, not before I heard her say, "have a great day Miss!"

Buying flowers was a good decision. I suddenly felt excited and happy to meet my father. He will surely be happy. I brisk walked to him. With a smile I knelt down and cleaned the area a little. It has been a while since I've been here.

"Hey papa. Look what I got. Ta da~"

I waved the flower in front of his name before calming down and keeping it close to him. My hands brushed his name delicately.

"Yeah Yeah know. Stop scolding me. I know I haven't been here." I shook my head as if I could hear him scolding me. It all feels natural now.

"So much has happened. I don't know what to tell you. But for starters I fell in love with someone. He is an amazing person." I smiled thinking about Jungkook.

My father 'supposedly' gave me a look.

"Excuse me?! He left for a reason! Don't judge him! You haven't met him yet! Can't you trust your daughter's choice?!"

I took deep breaths calming down. "I'm sure your opinion will change once you meet him. You can do this for me right? Just look after him and make sure that-" I suddenly frowned, "..I'm here to meet you too! What do you mean I only came to ask you for a favour?!"

A strange silence surrounded us. I fell silent and so did he.

Tears welled in my eyes but I tilted my head back to stop them from falling. I never had a mother. My father was all I had before Hobi.

"I m-miss you too papa."

I stayed there for a few minutes and then smiled at my father. "Okay okay. You have my word. I'll be back soon. Just do what I asked you to and I'll be happy."

"No wonder Jungkook left. You're batshit crazy."

"No I'm not!"

Wait.. that isn't my father. He doesn't have a deep voice. My eyes widened in realisation and I immediately turned around to see Kim Taehyung.

"Who are you to call me crazy you psycho demon?! You cut off all contacts and didn't give me any explanation!"

I waved a small 'bye' to my father and skipped a few steps till I was in front of Taehyung. It was then I noticed blue flowers in his hand.

He simply shook his head and turned around. I walked behind him till he stopped. He leaned down and placed the flowers.

The tears that I had been holding finally escaped my eyes when they fell on a familiar name.

Park Jimin

I cupped my mouth and cried silently. It took me a minute more to calm down. I remember crying in the hospital when I realised what happened with Jungkook that time, more specifically our conversation.

Jimin is no more.

"How are you feeling?"

Taehyung asked. I nodded even though I was facing his back. "I'm t-trying to be fine." He scoffed at my reply.

"I wasn't asking you."

"Oh." Using the sleeves of my shirt, I wiped my tears and runny nose. I sat next to him.

That familiar strange silence was back once again but I decided to break it.

"Why did you avoid me all this time?"

He smirked and looked away. "Because you have questions that I don't want to answer."

"But don't you think I deserve to know? I've been in the dark for long. I need to know." He didn't say anything so I continued, "you stitched that word on the gown."

"Took you long enough."

He turned to me with a serious look. "Look Taehyung, I want to know what happened. You know what.." I chuckled before continuing, "..at first I thought that it was a coincidence when you took me to that park but then when I found that specific stitch on the gown I realised that you're that Tae whom Jimin was fond of."

Taehyung lowered his head. "Jimin used to call you that .. 'my serendipity'"

"The time you first met each other was once in a lifetime moment for him. When you became friends he often said 'meeting her was a true serendipity for me'"

My lips curled upwards. I rested my chin on my knees and remembered the times he said the same exact line to me.

"So you knew from the start? That I'm that Meera?"

He shook his head in denial. "No. You just sparked my interest and rest you know."

"Then when.."

"That bracelet which Jimin gifted you back then, I saw that on your wrist once. I immediately recognised it because I was the one who bought that. I customised it a bit so that it would impress you and make things easy for him. I decided to dig up a little more information and found out that you're the same Meera, Jimin's first love."

My heartbeat sped up. I was my first love's first love. A true miracle.

I gulped the lump in my throat. My hands were trembling slightly. I wanted to ask him how he .. died.

"After my exams, I waited for Jimin in the park. He never came. I tried contacting him but nothing worked." I looked at him trying to see if he understood my words but I couldn't decipher his expression.

"What happened to him?"

He scoffed at my question and stood up angrily to leave. "Taehyung wait!" I almost touched his arm to hold him but he pulled away.

His nose flared in anger as his eyes screamed pain that I didn't see before. His tears only expressed a fraction of the pain he was experiencing at the moment.

"That motherfucking demon already told you that he killed Jimin! He fucking killed my best friend in front of my eyes! HE TOOK HIS LAST BREATH IN MY ARMS! WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT TO KNOW?!"

"Tae-"

He turned away to leave when the words got stuck in my throat. What was I supposed to say?

He then stopped walking and turned his head to look in my direction over his shoulder.

"If you want Jimin to be at peace then stay away from his killer. Forget about him. The more you stay with Jungkook, the more you hurt Jimin."
