Kakashi's View

I glared at Sanji, not able to believe what he turned into over the past few months. He was ruthless now, merciless, rude, he wasn't himself. The way he threw his sister to the side was horrible, she was just like a toy to him. One he needed to fulfill his life, his sister, Kanji... Was just another piece to his dream. The only family he's had left to show his accomplishment... Without her he's probably lost in the darkness just like Sasuke, so taking her with him to join the Akatsuki is his only option.

I reached into my weapon pouch once more, getting ready to pull out some shurikens. "Sanji, you don't have to do this. If you come back with me to the village we won't have to mark you as a rogue nin." I said, taking small steps closer while glancing at Kanji's wounded form besides him.

He scoffed, "are you seriously trying to convince me to go back to that useless village of yours? Well, that's not going to work on me old man. You have taught me nothing but useless techniques I already know, the Akatsuki could do better than all of you." He said, smirking.

I sighed, there was no way to convince him to come back. I guess that leaves me with going to force now. I threw the shurikens at him, he dodged to the side and grabbed his sister. He smiled at her and placed her behind a tree, "I'll be back...and then we'll leave sis...your big brother will protect you..."I heard him mutter. He stood up and walked over to me, putting on a dark glare and scowl. "Now that she's out of our way, let begin, O-t-ō-s-a-n ~" Sanji sung, running at me with a battle cry.

I charged forward. Our kunai's clanged, sparks were made. We both glared at one another before jumping back, I made the hand signs needed for a fire style Justu. "Fire Style: Grand Fireball Justu!" I shouted, exhaling deeply.

"Water Style: Raging Wave!"

My eyes widened and I jumped back, avoiding the wave of water heading towards me. The wave crashed into a numerous amount of tress, breaking everything in its way. I stared in awe, how was it that he knew this jutsu and was able to make it so powerful? He's...he's better than I thought...possibly stronger than Sasuke currently is.

I softened when I noticed Kanji in his arms, soaking wet. He still cares for his sister, but being consumed by power he fails to notice he does. He then threw her to the side, she hit a tree and fell to the ground face up. I growled and ran at him with chidori in my hand. "Chidori!"

He stood still and looked at me shocked, I hesistated and released my chidori right as it was going to penetrate his chest. I can't... Rin's death appeared before my eyes, I was about to kill Sanji like I did to her that day... I fell to my knees, the words she said right as my hand penetrated through her heart replaying in my mind.

No... I can't kill him. I will not have my hands stained with the blood of one of my comrades, children... Kakashi, I'll protect you guys even if I die. Rin... I shook my head, causing her voice and face to fade from my mind. I can't kill him, not now, not ever. He's my son, Kanji is my daughter. I'll bring them back to the village safely.

Standing up with a straight face, I glared at Sanji who was smirking widely. "Give up, Sanji. We have nothing to fight here for, the blood that's shed here has no reason to be shed." I said, "think of what Kanji would say, what her choice would be."

Sanji hesitated before speaking, "D-Don't say such things to me! I've already made up my mind! There's no way I'm going back to a weak village like the Leaf! The Akatsuki have promised to make me stronger, indestructible! They promised to keep Kanji safe from that...that damned Uchiha!" He shouted, glaring harshly. "Can't you see what she did for that useless Uchiha?! She just had to get that damn mark on her neck when he was supposed to get it! She risked her life for some pathetic boy who doesn't deserve her."

"I won't let my sister be around him anymore, no... she'll be safe her with the Akatsuki, maybe she'll find love there from someone better." He said, laughing maniacally. Sanji ran at me and swung his fist at my face, I grabbed his hand and squeezed tightly. "No matter how much you've changed, you'll be my son." I said, quietly.

"No! I am not your son!" He screamed furiously, swinging at me non-stop. "P-Parents... I don't need them, they only leave you to suffer in this world! They left me when I was young to care for my sister! Those so called parents are dead to me even in the after life!"

My eyes widened. The feeling of losing your parents is unbearable, but to think or even say they are dead to you... it must have done a big impact on him.

Sanji, let me in and I'll fill that hole your parents left. Being a parent for you will not only push the darkness surrounding you away, but it would probably help me...

Sanji's View

I glared at my so called father, glaring at him with all my might. No one will ever replace my family, no one. I glanced at Kanji then up at the sky, it was getting dark. The Akatsuki said to head down to the base before dark. I sighed, I'll have to end this quickly. "Sanji..." Kakashi muttered, staring at me with sympathy.

I scoffed and turned away from him, "Don't give me your sympathy, Kakashi." I spat, making a clone. "I don't need it."

My clone ran at Kakashi, going into a hand to hand battle with him. After Kakashi managed to destroy my clone, we began using Jutsu's against each other. Justu after Justu, most of the blows hit me though. Some only nicking his skin. If this keeps going, I'm done for. I have to end this now-

I gasped as I was pulled back by my shirt, my back hit a tree. I glared at the redhead, "Tch, what do you want... Sasori!" I seethed.

Sasori glanced back at me with a blank look, "What do you think I'm doing? I'm going to end this battle of yours once and for all." He stated.

I stood up and grabbed his cloak, seeing we were almost the same height. "Don't mess with what I started!" I growled.

"Hey! Leave Sasori-danna alone, yeah!" The annoying blonde shouted, pushing me away from Sasori. I scowled and crossed my arms. "Then tell your dear Sasori-danna, to mind his own business." I said.

The blonde frowned and jumped down beside me, "He does have a reason to be taking your business away from you, yeah." He said, "Leader-sama sent us over here to speed up the process, so let's get going... Sasori-danna will handle Kakashi, yeah."

I frowned, "fine, but grab let me grab my sister." I said, walking over to her. The blonde ran over to me, interest gleaming in his eye. "Sister, un?"

I nodded, "Yeah, sister. Have you not seen or heard of a sister before?" I asked, getting annoyed. He shook his head, "I'm not that dumb, un. It's just that we only have one girl in the Akatsuki so far and she's pretty mean, yeah." He said, "so, where's this sister of yours, yeah?"

I walked behind a tree and grabbed her body, carrying her bridal style. "This is her, her names Kanji... She's my twin." I mused, smiling softly while petting her hair.

"Wow, not much of a difference between your names besides the first letter, un." He grinned, eyeing Kanji. "I got here, un." He swipped her out of my hands.

"Hey!" I shouted.

"Stop it you two." Sasori growled. "I need both of you to head back to the hideout, so leave the girl with Deidara and start heading back. I'll take care of the sharingan user, he'll be perfect for my collection." Sasori said, smirking when mentioning Kakashi.

I huffed, "fine then, just be careful with her blondie." I said, causing Deidara to scoff.

"Yeah, yeah..." He waved it off, grabbing what looked like clay and making his hands eat it. I froze when I saw the mouths on his hands, the mouths opened wide and chewed up the clay. They spit it out. "Now, to show you my art, un." He said, tossing the clay in the air. He made a hand sign, the clay formed into a bird.

"Get on, un." He said, I nodded and hopped on, holding on for dear life. "Hold on, yeah!"

The bird cawed and soared up in the air, Deidara laughing madly. "Now this is true art!"
