Kanji's View

I started to hyperventilate, everything around me was getting blurry. Sanji left the village.. My only brother, my only blood in this world left the village! For what!? Why..why now though..?

"Kanji!" They shouted, running to my side as I was about to topple over. "We're sorry about him..."

Teas streamed down my face, "W-Why?" I asked, choking on my tears. "Why did my brother leave me! Why! Tell me, please!"

Sakura hung her head, "I'm sorry, Kanji, but none of us really knows why..." She said.

Ino nodded. "We just got the news now. We thought we should tell you, don't worry though. We have Hinata, Kiba, and Shino going after him. After all, they are his team members." Ino added, smiling at me softly.

"They w-went after him?" I whispered, eyes widening in horror. I shot up from my seat. heading towards the door.

"Kanji!

"Where.... Where did they run to? Which way!?" I yelled, my eyes glowing fiercely.

"H-He ran towards the main gate, but that was awhile ago. He could be gone by now!" Sakura shouted, trying to convince me to stay. "It's too dangerous!"

I took a small step out the door, then looked back at Sakura. "You can tell me what's dangerous and what's not, you hardly ever experienced a true battle, Sakura! I'm going after my brother whether you like it or not!" I shouted, snarling my teeth at her.

She glared at me, "If you leave I'll tell the Hokage and Kakashi." She threatened me.

I smirked, "Do it." With that, I went sprinting to the main gate.

Sanji, I will bring you back no matter what. I don't care what you reason behind this is, it's not right. You'll be marked as a rogue ninja and then i'll never be able to see you again. There's no way i'm letting that happen.. I leaped off the ground onto a building. I saw Team 8 running somewhere, more specifically to Sanji. Found a lead, brother.

I ran as fast as i could over to them, occasionally leaping on building to building as well. I was closing in on the three of them, they were shouting at one another.

"Hinata! We need to go faster if we want to get Sanji back!" Kiba yelled.

"S-Sorry..Kiba-kun..I-I'll go f-faster!" Hinata stuttered, speeding up a bit.

Shino stayed silent and looked over at my direction. I frowned as I ran next to him.

"Are you going after your brother.." Shino asked.

I grunted, "Yeah.. About that, can you tell me more about the situation at hand?" I asked, with hard eyes.

He nodded slightly. "I don't know much...I'm very well ignored most of the time." Shino stated the truth. "I only know that Sanji is running due to his lack of strength, or need of power."

"So he left becuase he thought he didn't have enough power?!" I shrieked, catching Hinata and Kiba's attention. "This idiot, he has enough power now... I mean, you did see him beat me during the preliminary rounds right? He managed to take me down even when I had the damn curse mark from that snake man activated!"

"KANJI! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU GOING HERE!?" Kiba screamed, very, very loudly.

"You idiot, isn't it obvious!?" I snarled.

"Kiba-kun..s-she's he-here to l-look for h-her b-brother.." Hinata said, poking her fingers together.

"Thank you, Hinata." I thanked her, then I looked at Kiba with a disgusted look. "At least there's two people on this team who actually understand, unlike you."

I ran ahead, "I'll meet you guys at the gate!" I shouted.

"More like you'll meet us there!" Kiba shouted back.

I could hear Kiba's commands from far away now. After at least twenty minutes, I was close to the gate. It took me so long since I had to ask people if they've seen him around from time to time. This one lady gave me a lead, he went running out the gate not so long ago.

"I'm close, brother..just you wait..!" I growled.

Just up ahead stood the Konoha gates, the ones we entered together. Now, one of us is leaving them.. I shook my head, tears scattering around. At the rate I was going, I passed so many trees till I came upon this large clearing. There stood my brother with is teammates at his feet. I gasped loudly, Sanji around.

"Kanji!? It's not what it looks like!" He shouted, taking steps towards me.

I glanced down at their bodies, and back at him. "What do you mean, It's not what it looks like!? I can see your teammates at your feet, for jashin's sake!" I shouted, horrified.

There was a pool of blood surrounding Hinata now that I took a close look. That blew it. Hinata was to innocent for this, she shouldn't have gotten into this problem. None of them should have. This is my fault, it's my problem to deal with.

"They're not dead! I wasn't planning on killing them!" He shouted.

"So you planned all of this!?" I snapped.

"Yes I did! But if you let me explain, you'll understand it's for a good purpose. Please, just let me explain." He begged.

I hesitated, "Um, f-fine... Hurry, explain!" I ordered.

"Okay, first of all, I'm leaving the village.. A few years at most..." He started.

"Few years, what's wrong with you!" I shouted.

"Shut up and listen to me, Kanji!" He barked, silencing me. "Anyways. the last reason I have is for power. I can't protect you, I'm too weak at the moment. If I had the strength I needed, I couldv'e protected you from that guy that bit you neck and left the damn mark. You wouldn't have been injured during the exams, I wouldn't have had to go so hard on you during the preliminary battle. I hurt you so much because I was so weak. But now, I have someone who offered to give me the power I need to protect you, sister. Don't you undertand how it feels to be weak, we both are much lower than all the shinobi here... So come with me, the both of us can get so much power together."

I smacked his had away from me, terrified of what my brother was turning into. The path he was going on would lead him nowhere at all, and he knew that too..

"I'm not going anywhere with you! Especially if you this crazy just for damn power! Don't you understand power comes with practice? It doesn't just appear in you, no one can give you power without it having a bad side effect. Look at me for example, I was to hungry for power in the forest so death because I was so weak, but now that I have the power I wanted... I regret it. I can't get close to someone without hurting them now, everyone is scared of me..." I said, sadly.

"Just forget about this, Sanji! Going this way won't get you anything but pain and suffering! If you really wanted to protect me, your sister, you would listen to my advice and stay in the village." I cried.

Sanji laughed darkly, a laugh that I've never heard from him before..

"Well then, I guess I'll have to make you come with me.. Even if it means by force.." He growled, running at me.

I gasped, "Sanji! Stop!" I pleaded.

I kicked him away, his body hit the others on the floor. I winced at my mistake. Running over to them, I turned them over.

"I'm sorry..I got here so late.." I whispered, caressing Hinata's face. "Damn it Sanji! Look what you did to them!" I screamed.

His laughed echoed throughout the forest, "You really have become dense. Another reason why your coming with me." He said.

Their bodies poofed away in a cloud of smoke, I gasped. Shadow clones! Before I could do anything, I toppled over. My eyes were in shock, betrayal..sadness.. Blood dripped down the side of my mouth as I stared into his eyes. The metallic like liquid stained my clothing, covering me in it's beautiful color.

"W-Why..?" I asked.

My hands latched onto the jagged blade that pierced through my abdomen, I started to see the world differently, it was al blurry from the tears streaming down my face.

He betrayed me.

"This is for the both of us, we need the power. The Akatsuki will be glad when they see me bring you in."

A criminal organazation wanted him, me. His mind in lost in the clouds.

"S-Sanji....." I gasped.

He laughed, it was a deadly melody to my ears. A tear hit the ground, it held all my emotions at the moment.

"KANJI!"

"SANJI! GET AWAY FROM HER YOU MONSTER, DATTEBAYO!"

"KANJI, STAY WITH US!"

Sakura..

Sasuke..

Naruto...

Gomenasai..

I shut my eyes with a smile on my face as I caressed Sasuke's cheek.

"I love you."

I love you brother, come back to me. Your the only person I have left in my life. Don't leave me..

"I'M GOING TO KILL YOU SANJI!"
