Kanji's view

Where am I? It's so dark in here...

'Why, you are in your mind, child.' A voice answered my thoughts.

I gasped and looked around. There wasn't a soul around. Who was that speaking?! Why would I be in my mind, am I dead? No.. I can't be...

'W-Who are you?!' I asked.

They chuckled, 'I am you. You may call me your consciousness, or your inner.'

My inner? Since when did I have an inner.. But, why am I in my mind?

'Well, inner. Let me out now, I need to get back with my team!" I ordered.

Inners chuckling echoed.

'No can do. You see, their is a battle you must finish first.' Inner stated.

'What..battle?' I asked quietly.

Inner burst out in laughter. 'Why, the battle of life and death.'

Life and death?!

'W-What do you mean?!' I shouted.

'I mean what I say, I say what I mean. And it seems like it's time to start..' Inner chuckled.

'What no?! Wait! Let me out now! Ahhh-!' I screamed as I was dragged across the floor. 'nooooooo!'

I was thrown into a room, it was white, plain, bland. Nothing was in it, no furniture or people. Only myself.

'Choose wisely, for your choice decides your faith, child. Goodbye.' Inner said.

'I will, I plan on making it out of here alive.' I stated.

The white room flickered, memories of my team pouring into my head. When I made my very first friend...

"I like you, wanna be friends?" I asked hesitantly.

He looked shocked but answered, "yeah sure, I like you to.. But don't call me duck butt or else."

The time Kakashi became my Otōsan/Dad. The bell test...

"Otōsan...huh? I like it.." Kakashi, I mean Otōsan said

The day I protected Naruto and Iruka.

"don't..don't do that again! I don't want to lose a friend!" Naruto exclaimed.

"Kanji you did a brave thing, protecting us both, but don't do it again.." Iruka said.

I befriended Naruto..

Naruto grinned happily but them his smile faded, "..can we be friends?" He whispered looking down.

"Yeah why not!" Was my answer.

I smiled. All those good memories were amazing, but they all had a defect... Every single one did.. The rooms aura switched to purple, it felt awful just standing here. Memories were opened again, but these weren't delightful ones.. Not at all.

When I faced Mizuki, I wasn't even close to defeating him. I was dumb, miserable, a fool for even thinking I could bring him down alone. I was weak.

During the bell test as I faced of Kakashi. I underestimated him and let myself get close to losing. Still, I was weak..

In the land of waves. I couldn't even protect Naruto from getting wounded. A simple task which could've been easily accomplished.. and I failed. I was weak...

The battle with Haku. My worst battle so far, I had failed to protect Sasuke. The one I care deeply for, my very first friend. He almost died for me. I was weak..

The night my family was murdered before my very my eyes... Whoever that person was left and is still alive all because I was to young, to powerless to end his life at that moment. If only... Of only I had such power then, I could've saved my parents... They wouldn't have died, we would've been a happy family... Those wishes are mere dreams now, my family is no longer here. It's to late. I was weak, I let my family die.

And now... I can't even protect my team, they are outside while I am in my mind, fighting a battle I know nothing about! I am weak! I am weak! I AM WEAK! That's all I am. A hopeless girl who wishes to protect the ones she loves, yet, I cannot accomplish that wish. For I am weak. I screamed, and fell to my knees. Strength. The trait I need, the power I crave is strength! Yes... I want- no... I NEED strength. I don't care what I must do to achieve that, I will do it. So I will be powerful and erase this weakling that resides inside me. I shall become powerful, I shall strive to gain this strength I crave for desperately. One way or another. Without it, I'm nothing.

'I see that you have chosen your path, correct?' Inner mused, 'you want strength.'

I smirked sadistly, 'Yes, I've chosen. I need strength, I choose the path that will lead me to strength!' I shouted.

'Job well done! You will achieve the strength you search for in due time. Heed this warning, it will be very painful. You may not survive, be careful. But now, I will let you test a piece of this strength.' Inner said.

I stood up, grinned evilly. Yes, this is the path I wish for, the path I've chosen. My life has changed for the good, now I will be stronger. Pain flared inside me. I screamed. It hurt so much! I felt like I was burning alive, getting stabbed by kunai's laced in poison over and over again non-stop.

'This is the path you've chosen. Like I said, it will be very painful. You will suffer, it's a price to pay for the path of strength. But, remember what the pain is for. What you will achieve out of it. Strength and power.' Inner smirked.

I kept screaming, I held my neck in pain and fell to my knees. My neck was throbbing, it hurt so much. I j-just have to endure the pain for now, just till I get stronger!

'Seek me, strive for power, come to me. And I will give you the power you seek...'

With my eyes barely open I stood up, my arms hanging limp, and my head swaying back and forth. Standing up all the way I opened my eyes with a smirk plastered on my face. Th-This power! It's amazing, simply amazing! This is what I need, what I wanted! Purple chakra was seeping out of my body in waves, spiraling around me. I stood my ground and looked around. Sakura.. Her hair no longer the beautiful long hair that I envied, it was now shorter than my hair. What stuck out most, was her bruised and beaten body. She was entirely covered in bruises or specks of blood.

I growled angrily. "Sakura.. Who did this to you? Who is it, tell me?"

She ignored my question, "Kanji... That body..." She whispered.

I blinked, before looking down at my body. My left arm was covered in strange black marks, the marks went up my arm leading to who knows where. I liked how it looked, it made me look sinister.

"Don't worry," I reassured her as I looked up seeing Shika's team and some sound ninja. "On the contrary, strength is rapidly flowing into me. Right now, I feel great. That guy accidentally gave it to me, but.. I understand now. I must avenge my family, revenge is my goal, my true goal. I will do whatever it takes, even if it means giving myself to the clutches of evil." I explained with a smirk.

My smirk faded as it was replaced with a small frown. "Now.. Sakura tell me. Who was the one who dare lay a finger upon you? Who?" I asked, my patience fading very quickly.

"Me!" My gaze snapped to him immediately. Hm, sound ninja, huh? He doesn't look to strong, no worries here. I smirked sadistly at him.

"Ino! Get out that body and come over here and hide!" Shika yelled.

I glanced at Ino as she released her jutsu, returning herself to her body. Shika..Lee..Sakura..Naruto..Sasuke.. I felt more power pour into me like a fountain, I feel stronger than ever!

"Dosu! This half dead b*tch is nothing to be scared of!" The sound ninja said.

I gave him a blank look, he still underestimates me with this power literally radiating off me.

"Stop, Zaku! Don't you understand?!" Dose shouted towards his friend.

Zaku ignored Dosu's pleads and gave me a cocky smirk.

"I'll take them all down in one hit! Super Sonic Slicing Wave!" Zaku shouted, as a wave of sound and wind came hurdling towards me and my team.

I grabbed Sakura, Naruto and Sasuke placing them somewhere safe.

"Stay." I ordered Sakura.

I teleported next to Zaku when he thought he'd won.

"Hah! She must've been blown to pieces-!" He shouted just as I elbowed his back lightly.

He flew back to his friend Dosu. My eyes widened slightly, I only elbowed him and he went that far?

I made some handsigns, "Fire style: Phoenix Flower jutsu!" I took a deep breath and released it.

My shurikens hidden in the fire headed to Zaku. He use his sound wave once more, it only revealed my shurikens.

"What?! Shurikens in the fire?!" He shouted shocked.

He covered himself with his arms, his eyes closed shut. I smirked, now's my chance. Running at him at a speed where I would be seen as a blur, I tripped Zaku. I went behind him and grabbed ahold of his arms, then I placed my right foot on his back. One move and I'll break his arms.

I smirked and teased him a little by pulling on his arms. "It seems like your very proud of these arms, huh? Would be a shame if they weren't useful anymore." I grinned sadistly.

I pushed my leg down in his back and pulled his arms. He grunted in pain.

"S-Stop it!" He screamed looking back at me.

I grinned in return before pulling his arms all the way back.

Crack!

Oh, his arms happen to be broken and out of place now. My bad. I tugged on his arms once more, then threw him to the ground. He's down, now who's next? Smirking I looked over my shoulder at Dosu.

"Your next!" I said just above a whisper.

His eyes widened as I walked towards him. Arms wrapped around my back, I froze at the contact.

"Stop it!"

I glanced over my shoulder to see Sakura. Tears were trailing down her face like a river. My gaze softened. Sakura..

"Please..stop..! This isn't you!" She cried. "Kanji!"

She's right, this isn't me... This isn't me... The power withdrawed back inside me, once the power fully left me my knees gave out on me. I fell to the ground with a glare, I panted like crazy. What..am I?

"You're strong, even if the power was accidentally given to you. We can't defeat you the way you are now. This is for beating us.." Dosu said and dropped his earth scroll to the ground. "Please let us withdraw from here. It seems selfish, but we to have something we need to confirm, too. That being said, let's make a promise. If there's another opportunity to battle you or Sasuke in this test, we won't run or hide." With that Dose grabbed Zaku and walked into the forest.

"Wait!" Sakura shouted, "who in the world is Orochimaru!? What for he do to Kanji?! What's he want with Sasuke?!"

"I don't know.. We were just given orders to make an attack on Sasuke, not this girl." With that Dosu and his team left.

I stared at the ground, frightened of what I've become. Is this really want I want? Is this all worth it for power? I looked at my shaking hands, the hands I used to break a others arms.

"What..? What am I..?" I asked myself.

"Sakura!"

I turned around, Naruto was running to her.

"Your hair!" He gasped.

Sakura grabbed a piece of her hair, "oh this? I'm just going for a change, just trying something new. I like it long better, but.. When I move around in a place like this it gets in the way if it's long.

"By the way, why are you guys here?" Naruto asked confused.

"Sheesh, it's such a pain explaining to you." Shika muttered.

"Everybody helped out." Sakura said.

A pang of guilt hit my heart. Sakura and Naruto ran off to Lee.

"I'm sorry..I'm sorry...I'm sorry! I worried you guys, or even worse I frightened you all! I understand is you don't forgive me.."I shouted, followed by tears. Everyone's eyes were on me. "I'm sorry, I should've-" I started but was cut of by arms wrapping around me.

My eyes were wide open, I stared at Shika, wondering why he would hug me after all I've done.

"It's fine, you don't have to apologize. It wasn't your fault..." Shika soothed.

Everyone else said it was fine also. I bit my lip, and burst into to tears. I cried into his shirt getting it moist by my warm tears. I'm glad everyone has forgave me, I don't know what I would've done if they hadn't.

"A-Arigatō Shika-kun.." I thanked him with a small smile as I stared into his eyes. He smiled back and leaned in. I blushed and looked at the ground pretending I didn't notice. "Ano.. Do you know, where, um Sasuke-kun is?" I asked Shika.

He frowned but nodded and pointed to the side. I thanked him and walked over to Sasuke, he was hidden form everyone else. He was on the ground asleep, he looked so peaceful like he didn't hear a thing. I frowned and combed my fingers through his hair.

"Sasuke..." I whispered, "it's my fault your like this isn't it? You still got hurt no matter how hard I tried to protect you.. Like you said earlier, I'm an idiot for not understanding the situation. You were r-right.. If only I had listened... But hey, I protected you from Pedo-san's clutches didn't I?" I muttered, staring at his face. "I think I did my job well done, protecting you guys... As long as I can stay by your side, watching over you. I'll be happy. I...I love you Sasuke." I said as I planted a soft kiss on his lips.

I pulled back a little bit, only to be pulled into a kiss which was forced upon me. I hesitated before kissing back, he licked my lips asking me for entrance. I pulled away, and stared at him. His tired eyes stared back at me, they weren't their normal deep onyx color, they were much darker.

"Kanji." Sasuke muttered.

"Sasuke...your awake!" I smiled.

He sat up groggily, I couldn't hold back any longer. I launched myself on him, embracing him like it was the last time I could.

"I thought you were h-hurt! I'm sorry-" his lips cut me off.

"It's fine, I just fainted from shock. You shouldn't have take the hit for me, still, thank you for protecting me Kanji. I'll be by your side with you, no need to fret over this so much." Sasuke said and caressed my cheek. "Don't stress yourself. I don't want to see the one I love get hurt." Sasuke said and kissed me again but more passionately.

Wrapping my arms around his neck I kissed back, he licked my lip. I parted my lips and Sasuke plunged his tongue inside my mouth. We pulled apart leaving a small trial of saliva between our lips.

"I love you." Sasuke said with a small smile.

I smiled, "I love you to, Sasuke."

"Thrash around some more! I want to catch some extras. There isn't enough. Three more you, loser." Sasuke told Naruto.

Naruto waved his arms around angrily. "This isn't so easy, you know?! I mean let's switch!" Naruto whined.

I watched amused and slightly aggravated as they fought. My stomach growled. I'm starving... We haven't had anything to eat in four days?

"Sasuke! The fire is ready to be lit, can you use your fireball jutsu on it?" Sakura shouted form camp.

Sasuke sighed, "I guess three is fine for the time being." He said and walked away to tend to Sakura.

My eye twitched as Naruto ran off after Sasuke. Three is not enough, there's four of us, and we each have an empty stomach. Maybe I could catch some myself. I looked around just to make sure no one was here. Good, there's no one. I walked to the edge of the lake and started taking off my clothing till I was left with my bandages. The bandages started at my chest and stopped at my ankles. So pretty much they covered up my whole body beside my face.

"Alrighty, Kanji! You need to get at least five more fish! Ready, let's go!" I shouted and jumped into the lake.

I held my breath and swam around. I grabbed two fish and went up for air. I grinned at the fish. I wrapped string around them and placed them on land. I went under once more and collected the rest of the fish I needed, going back to land I tied the rest of the fish up. I giggled, I got them, yes!

"Now... Where did I put my clothes at?" I mused.

I gasped at the birds that were throwing my clothes into the water.

"Ahh! No bad birds, bad birds! Stop! Put my clothes down!" I yelled and swatted at the birds.

They made noises and flew away. Grinding my teeth together I grabbed my now soaking wet clothes. Well I'll be damned, what am I going to wear now.

I sighed and put a transformation jutsu on myself, I'll ask Sakura for clothes when I get back. I made it to camp when the others were cooking the fish.

"Oi!" I shouted, gaining their attention. "I got some more fish!" I shouted as I waved the fish around.

They all smiled bit Sasuke smirked, he walked over to me and grabbed the bundle of fish. "Nice job, Kanji. Now we won't starve."

I grinned sheepishly, waving it off. Sasuke right way started to cook the fish. Walking over to Sakura, I twirled a piece of my brownish black hair between my fingers.

"Sakura!" I whispered, she rose an eyebrow. "I, um, kinda need extra clothes.. You see, my clothes kinda got soaked when I was getting the fish, ya know. Sooo by any chance do you have spare clothes?" I asked nervously.

She nodded with a chuckled. "Here, change in the woods." She said.

I nodded and ran into the woods and changed quickly. She gave me some black shorts and a red crop top. I smiled, heading back to camp. Sakura looked over at me and gave me a thumbs up with a wink. I blushed and sat down on a log.

"It's already been four days since we've started the second exam." We all nodded in confirmation, "The start of the second exam as around here in the afternoon. That's leaves is with 24 to 25 hours left. There may be some teams that have already have passed this. Even if we were to pursuit, there's probably hardly anybody left to become targets." Sasuke said.

"Then what do we do?" I asked.

"Just about everyone's sure to have passed already." Sasuke stated.

"Yeah.. It's been four days after all." Sakura said.

"Let's eat already!" Naruto said.

I giggled and grabbed the biggest one for Naruto, "here, I saw you ogling it for awhile now." I said and handed it to him.

He grinned and scarfed it down like nothing. I grabbed one and ate it slower than Naruto did.

"For all we know there might not be any heaven scrolls left." Sakura said and explained everything else. "Moreover, you remember, don't you Sasuke?" She asked.

"That Orochimaru guy burned he heaven scroll we had." Sakura said.

I choked on the fish, I pounded my chest and looked up at Sasuke and Sakura.

"What do you mean he burned it?!" I shouted. I thought I grabbed it..?

"Oh, you dropped the scroll when you got bit by him. He burned it after that." Sakura said.

I gawked at her. He sure was persistent.

"Wait! That wasn't a real scroll!" I shouted. They all looked at me doubt in their eyes. "That was a fake scroll I made just in case. I put a transformation jutsu on the real scroll. See?" I said and showed them the scroll which was a kunai.

"But that's a kunai." Naruto pointed out.

"That's what it looks like, watch. Kai!" I released the transformation, "now is it a scroll?" I asked.

Sakura gasped, "so you have a scroll! Kanji, your a lifesaver!" Sakura shouted.

"Oh, I'm not. Just thought ahead I guess. Still, theirs enemies out their who will attack us ruthlessly. We have to get to the tower safely as quick as possible..." I said.

"Yeah." Sakura said.

Sasuke stood up, "I'm going to get some drinking water."

"Be careful," I muttered.

He nodded and walked off into the forest.

"Hey, hey! Aren't you curious about what's in the scroll?" Naruto asked.

"Well, yeah. But still, we shouldn't open the scroll of that's what your trying to say." I murmured.

Naruto grinned. "I'm going to open this scroll!" He yelled.

"No!" Sakura yelled and punched Naruto upside the head. "You! Have you forgotten even the rules, you idiot! Were told not to look inside the scrolls until arriving at the tower!" Sakura shouted.

"But I want to see what's inside it! Don't you Sakura-chan, Kanji?!" Naruto shouted.

I shook my head with my arms crossed. "I'm not giving in, you can't make me."

Naruto looked at Sakura, they nodded then looked back at me.

"You know what, I have some, uh, business behind this log. Ja!" I chuckled nervously and jumped behind the log.

I watched them stare at the scroll and open it slowly. Naruto opened a corner of it, I shut my eyes as I covered my head.

"You best not do it."

Huh? Looking over the log I met Kabuto's eyes. What is he doing here?

"Kabuto!" I ran up it him and Sasuke ran to him also.

"Man, you guys are lucky I came here in time. That was close." Kabuto sighed. "Those who ignore the rules are forced into a situation they can't return."

I glared at Naruto and Sakura, "you guys should be grateful he stooped you both." I said, "Arigatō Kabuto."

Kabuto smiled.

"What're you doing around here alone?" Sasuke asked.

"I didn't come for your scroll." Kabuto stated.

"I didn't think so." Sasuke said, "if that was your attention, you could've taken it from Naruto just now."

"True, I was just making my way to the tower when I came upon these two opening your scroll. Now if you'll excuse me." Kabuto said, walking away.

"Wait! Kabuto, can we accompany you to the tower?" I asked.

"I don't mind, come along. We must get going. At this rate, we'll be marked by fierce animals..and enemies. The smell of fish has spread quite quickly." Kabuto said, glaring at a bush behind us.

A few leafs floated to the ground. So, their was enemies nearby... Hm.. We jumped off into the woods, heading to the tower.

"Are there really enemies still around?" Sakura asked.

"Yes, no mistake. The tower is in the middle of this forest. That means when the sat day of the test is here, the area near that tower is the easiest place to gather scrolls." Kabuto said.

"So, other teams could plan an ambush near the tower. I see." I said.

"Exactly. There's probably already traps set up her the tower." Kabuto said.

"Ah, so their must be lots of enemies lying to attack us!" Naruto shouted.

"Yes.there are collector as well..." Kabuto muttered.

"Collectors? What do you mean by collectors?" I asked, interested in these collectors.

"There are teams or people who already collected the scrolls they needed. Still, they wait near the tower for other teams heading into the tower to finish the test. They ruthlessly fight teams and take their scrolls. They end up with extra scrolls they don't need which lowers the amount of teams able to pass. These guys are big guns and conceited." Kabuto explained.

"I see. I understand the reason why you appeared before us." Sasuke said. "You scared, also, right?" Sasuke smirked.

I sweat dropped, I don't think he is.

"That's right." Kabuto lied.

We dropped onto the ground. It was already really dark, we don't have much time left before this test ends.

"Now, then, the tower has come into view. From here on it's the hard part." Kabuto said.

I nodded and shut my eyes in exhaustion.

"An enemy?!"

Jumping, I took out a kunai and spun around. It was only a giant centipede.

"Oh, it's just a centipede" Naruto muttered.

We walked ahead, stopping after awhile.

"Look." Kabuto pointed to a tree with dead bodies.

Grimacing, I examined the bodies. They each had kunai's impelling them, it was a trap.

"It was a trap.. They happens to get caught." I stated.

"Yeah. It'll get more intense ahead from here on." Kabuto said, walking ahead with everyone else following. Taking one last look around, I took a step forward. I helped as I tripped over a string. A trap!? Kunai's came from all directions, hurdling towards me. Kabuto jumped in front of me, taking the hit.

"Kabuto!" I screamed.

Poof

Substitution jutsu!

"That was close, Naruto, Kanji." Kabuto said. "I told you it would get intense from here on." He said, using his two fingers to lift his glasses back in place.

I fell to the ground, my body was on fire, my muscles were sore. I couldn't walk much longer! It felt like we were going in circles!

"I'm done!" Sakura shouted and collapsed close to me. "For crying out loud, how far have we walked?! The tower hasn't gotten closet at all! We can see it, but were not getting closer." Sakura groaned.

She's right. There's no doubt about it. Were in a genjutsu. I looked at the caterpillar that we killed a long time ago, and here it is.

"What on earth is happening?!"

"Were in a genjutsu.." I answered.

"So it seems. We've been lured in perfectly. It appears we were careful, and were made to walk around the same place in a circle. Were begin watched probably. They I tend to wear down our physical strength catch us unprepared. If so, this enemy follows this strategy. Then they'll be arriving soon." Kabuto said.

He was right of spot. Tons of enemy clones came out of the trees and the ground. They looked like the guy we faced in the beginning of this test, the imposter. Naruto ran at one, punching him in the stomach. His arm went straight through the clone, black goop dripped down his fist. Where the clone was injured, another clone was created. I gasped as they boxed us in. Kabuto got a cut along his arm by a kunai thrown by a clone. Shouldn't they be an illusion? But that was the real deal if it cut him..

"The fact that Kabuto was injured means these this are actual shadow clones?" Naruto asked.

"But shadow clones are supposed to disappear off they take a direct attack, these things don't vanish. These clones don't vanish." I said.

"Does that mean it's a genjutsu?! Which is it?!" Naruto shouted.

I went to hit one, "stop, it's futile!" Sasuke yelled, "it's an enemy genjutsu."

"But Kabuto's wound is the real thing." Sakura said.

"No, it's as Sasuke says. The enemy is hiding somewhere and coordinating their attack with movements of the clones, and attacking from a different location. Pretending as if those clones are attacking. They won't come out until we can no longer move." Kabuto mused.

They started throwing kunai's at us, we dodged them. Some hit me since I was out of energy. I panted, Naruto created shadow clones. His clones attacked the enemies clones, beating them till they were black puddles. Naruto made clones to look exactly like us while the enemies were focusing on his shadow clones. Our clones replied us and we hid behind some bushes. We waited awhile, the enemy clones slowly faded away. And the real guys came out finally. Naruto released our clones, I walked out from behind the bush smirking.

"Great job Naruto! It worked!" I shouted. "But you've used to much chakra! I'll do the rest!"

Naruto stood up and punched one of the enemies, knocking all three of them to the ground. I stared at him shocked. Even though he was exhausted, he managed to get a hit on the enemy.

"No way! I'm not always going to have the good part taken away from me!" Naruto panted.

I smiled, he's improved a lot. Even though he made multiple shadow clones, and changed them to look like us. He can still stand up.

The rain ninja's stood up, all three of them making a handsign.

"Were running out of time. We'll show you our ninjutsu. Ninja Art: Fog clone jutsu!" One shouted.

"Shadow clones?" Naruto panted.

"No, their regular clones!" Sasuke yelled, "however, he's up to something!"

"If they are just clones, then there's one real body!" Naruto yelled, "I'll kick heir butts left and right until I run into him."

"Idiot!" Sasuke yelled.

"I'm telling you! Don't stick your nose on this!" Naruto yelled and charged at the enemy.

I sighed, he's making this harder for us. He's being to reckless. Kabuto ran in to help Naruto. I wanted to help.

"Fire style: Fireball jutsu!" I shouted.

I screamed, and grabbed my neck. It was burning.

Panting, I backed up onto a tree.

"Kanji!" Sakura shouted, kneeling down beside me. "Stop, using your chakra!"

"H-Hai." I whispered.

"Naruto, stop! It's useless, the real one isn't with the clones!" Sasuke yelled.

"Kabuto!" Naruto screamed.

"S-Sakura.. What's h-happening?" I asked.

"Kabuto and Naruto are in trouble." She muttered.

"Were okay here, Naruto!" Sakura waved. "Is Kabuto alright?"

"He's injured!"

I can heal him. I crawled to Kabuto, who wasn't that far from me.

"L-Let me heal y-you." I whispered my voice hoarse.

"I'm fine, you don't need to." Kabuto said, sitting up.

"Nn-no let me, just returning a favor.." I said, he gave nod.

I read this in a medical book once, mig as well give it a try. I closed my eyes, concentrating chakra to my palms. They were a faint green color, hovering them over Kabuto's nose. I concentrated on his cut, it healed. The bite didn't react..weird.. I smiled, and did the same to his arm and leg. I grabbed my neck, wincing at the pain. Kuso!

"What's wrong? Are you hurt?" Kabuto asked, "My, that's a nasty bruise."

I covered the bruise as he called it, "Oh, it's nothing.." I muttered.

Kabuto's team showed up. They scolded him for being late.

Kabuto turned to us, "were going through this door. Well then, I wish us both luck."

"Good luck, Kabuto. I hope we didn't cause you any troubles." I said.

"You didn't, don't worry. Goodbye." He waved.

I waved back. Sakura held onto me and opened the door. It was a simple room with a banner, nothing special about it..

"Sakura I think I'm fine, thank you." I said.

I walked around.

"What're we supposed to do?" Naruto asked.

"Ah, look at that!" Sakura shouted, pointing at the banner I saw.

"Without heaven.. What's that mean.." I asked.

"If heaven does not exist, enrich your knowledge and prepare for the chance. If earth does not exist, run the fields in search of an advantage. Open the series of heaven and earth, and the perilous way shall be redressed.. This is namely the secret of the one that guides.." Sakura resisted.

"What's that mean?" Naruto and I asked.

"It looks like there are letters or something missing there. It probably has to do with the scroll. I think this means we're supposed to open the heaven and earth scrolls." Sakura said.

"Let's do it then." I said.

I grabbed one and handed Naruto the other.

"Ready?" I asked.

"Yeah." Naruto said.

"1..2..3...now!" I shouted.

I opened mine. It has a person, a man? What was this..? Smoke started coming out of the middle.

My eyes widened, "it's a summing jutsu! Drop it!" I yelled, throwing he scroll across the room.

The smoke cleared. Wha-!

"Yo! It's been a long time." Iruka-sensei said.

"Iruka-sensei?!" I gasped.

"It appears you guys have had a rough time out there." Iruka-sensei noticed.

"Why are you appearing as a summoning?!" Naruto asked.

"At the end of the second test, we Chunin are to welcome the test-takers. I just happened to be given the important task of being the messenger for you guys." Iruka said as he took out a pocket watch, "ahh, just in time. Everyone, congratulation on surviving the second test. To celebrate you passing, I'd like to treat you to some ichiraku ramen, but.." Iruka was cut off my Naruto glomping him.

I sighed and slumped down to the ground. Man, he sure has a lot of energy. I'm just glad we passed this cursed test.
