Sasuke's View

(oh this is the next day by the way!! Sorry I didn't show that in any way last chapter)

I looked at the time, it was around 7am. I sighed. I headed upstairs and walked into Kanji and Sakura's room. Sakura was blushing like crazy when she saw me walk in. I stood and stared right at her, Sakura giggled and walked up to me.

"Ohayo Sasuke-kun~!" Sakura shrieked

I winced and replied with a simple grunt. Sakura squealed and ran out the room. Took her long enough, might as well get Kanji awake. I walked over to her bed and heard snoring. I sweat dropped, I didn't think she snored in her sleep. I reached out and shook her gently.

"Oi Kanji!" I said

"hm...Izu-kun...hehe...kish meh...*snore*.." Kanji mumbled

I tensed and narrowed my eyes. Who's Izu-kun...? I growled and stood up, whoever this Izu-kun is, better stay away from Kanji! I stopped and knew what this feeling was finally. It was love..I was in love with a Kanji. With that last thought I headed downstairs not without passing Kakashi.

Kanji's view

"hm...Izu-kun...hehe..kiss me..." I said staring into Izumo's eyes

Izu-kun stared right back, my cheeks heated up madly. Izu-kun leaned in, brushing his lips over mine. I felt his hot breath glide over my lips, it felt amazing.

"as you wish.." He replied huskily

Izu-kun finally planted his lips on mine, immediately taking control. I smiled into the kiss and kissed back happily. It turned out into a make out session, but I backed away as I started to lose my breath. I panted and looked him into his eyes.

"Izu-kun...I love you" I whispered

Izu-kun opened his mouth to answer but everything around me started fading away. What's happening!?

I gasped and sat straight up in bed. What the hell happened!!! I panted as water dripped down my face. Wait, water? I looked at my clothes and they were soaking wet! Why are my clothes wet, more importantly who poured water on me! I fumed with anger and clenched my fists together. I heard chuckling to my left, I snapped my head to the left and saw Otōsan.

"Ehh?! Otōsan?!" I shrieked

Otōsan chucked, "Maa, you should have woken up by yourself so this wouldn't have happened. Oh and one question, who and what were you dreaming about?"

I chuckled nervously, and rubbed the back of my head.

"Oh..that's not important, I'll tell you later, ya know. Hehe.." I mumbled sheepishly

Otōsan nodded and walked out the room. I sighed. Now I'm soaking wet in bed, now I have to change. I opened up my backpack and looked for clothes. I pulled out a shuriken, nope, threw it behind me. This went on for awhile, till I noticed that I didn't bring any extra clothes. How in Jashin's name did I forget to bring clothes?! I mean seriously, I should have brought clothes. But who knew someone was going to suddenly pour water on me... I frowned and and turned around. I got pale at what I saw.. Tsunami was in stuck to the wall by several shuriken and kunai, then there was a bunch of my stuff on her. I panicked and ran to help her right away.

"oh I'm so sorry tsunami! I didn't mean it I swear, here just let me take all my weapons out of your clothes hehe." I said while picking out all the weapons. I finished taking the weapons out, and wouldn't stop apologizing to her.

"Oi, Oi! It's alright, just an accident.." Tsunami said

I frowned but nodded either way.

"anyways, I saw what your dad did earlier. So I brought you some of my smaller clothing, here try it on" tsunami said as she shoved a pile of clothes into my hand.

I nodded and quickly ran into the bathroom, I changed into the clothes and looked in the mirror. I was wearing a pair of green shorts that reached my mid thighs, a brown tank top with polka dots, and a white short sleeve sweater. It was cute, but it isn't something I'd wear, or something I wear anymore. I wrapped some of that white paper thing Naruto has on his thigh all over my arms and legs to cover my scars.. (You know any I'm talking about right? The white things Naruto has on one of his thighs?) Hm..it looks cute, but to girly.. How will the others react she they see me?! I got really nervous and started to sweat. They won't judge me right..? (If you want to see her outfit the link is at the end of the story)

"Oi hurry up! I want to see if it fits, come one the others are waiting for you either way!" Tsunami shouted

I sighed and opened the door slowly, coming face to face with tsunami.

"There, how is it..." I mumbled

"You look...Kawaii!!!!" She shrieked jumping up and down with glee

I blushed and turned away. My eyes widened a little, I surprised she didn't ask me why I was wrapped in bandages. I guess that's good, I wouldn't be comfortable to tell her..

"Yeah, yeah, let's go downstairs. The others are waiting.." I said changing the subject

tsunami answered with a simple hai and led me downstairs. I was nervous as we walked down the stairs, how would the others react? I stooped at the bottom of the stairs and took a deep breath.

"Ok kanji, you can do this... Just take a deep breath, walk to the table and sit down like nothing, ok?" I whispered to myself

I took another deep breath and walked into the room. I felt everyone's gaze on me, but I ignored the feeling and sat down at the table.

"Ohayo.." I said my gaze downwards

"Kanji?"

I looked up to see Sakura, Sasuke and Otōsan staring at me. I blushed amd looked away..

"yeah?" I asked

"you look pretty, you look better with girl clothing on. I mean, you are a girl, but it suits you.." Sakura stated

I was shocked. She thought I looked pretty? I looked back up and into her eyes.

"Arigatō Sakura-chan.." I said with a real smile

Sakura giggled and smiled back.

"Maa, Sakura's right.. You look beautiful, you should wear clothes like this more often." Otōsan said with a closed eye smile

I blushed, "Arigatō Otōsan. No offense but, that kinda sounded weird coming from you.." I said truthfully

Otōsan hung his head, and a cloud of depression washed over him. I sweat dropped. Then something hit me. Where's Naruto, I noticed he isn't here?

"Ne, where's Naruto-kun? Shouldn't he be back by now?" I asked worried laced in my voice

"The fool has been out every night, climbing trees. He might be dead already from using up to much chakra." Sakura said bluntly

What!? Naruto still hasn't come back, and no one has faith in him! I growled.

"Sakura's right..the idiots probably dead right now." Sasuke agreed

I snarled and stood up. Everyone jumped or was confused at my actions. I walked over to the front door and slid it open, right as I was about to go outside I stopped.

"hey where are you going Kanji!?" Sakura yelled

"I'm going to find Naruto..and bring him back alive." I growled out

I walked outside and started walking to where we practiced tree climbing. I sighed. I can't believe Sakura and Sasuke bother doubted Naruto. I know they do it often, but to think he's dead? That's to far for me, Naruto wouldn't die do easily, he's a strong kid that's going to be the Hokage when he's older, I just know it. I felt something on my shoulder, I spun around with a kunai in hand, I put it straight on their throat.

"s-Sasuke!" I stuttered surprised

I took my kunai away from his and apologized under my breath before turning around to continue my search for Naruto. Not like Sasuke would care, he thinks Naruto is dead..

Sasuke grabbed my shoulder again, this time I spun around angry.

"Kanji can I talk-" Sasuke started

"No Sasuke we can't talk! I'm not going to talk to someone who can't even have faith in their own teammate, you think that Naruto is dead right? I don't, I actually have faith in my teammates unlike some people. Talk to me when you finally get faith in your team, and then we will talk.." I snapped annoyed

I glared at Sasuke and walked away. Ugh, annoying people I swear. Shaking my head, I concentrated for Naruto's chakra.

Found it! It's just ahead, I'm close.

I walked a little faster, but I stopped when I saw a girl walking towards me.

"Oi by any chance did to see a blonde boy in an orange jumpsuit?" I asked

she looked at me, "yes, he's down that way, not to far."

Hm..sounds like a boy with a feminine voice...

"Arigatō! Oh and..your not a girl are you?" I said rather bluntly

"Ah, seems like you noticed. What gave it away?" He asked

"well one, you sound like a boy, two your body figure also, it has a more manly form to it." I pointed out

he blushed and nodded.

"Well it was nice meeting you, my names Kanji by the way." I said

"pleasure to meet you to, I'm Haku." He said with a smile

"well goodbye Haku, I hope we see each other again.." I said quietly

"hm, goodbye Kanji.." Haku said as he walked off

I walked ahead and saw Naruto sitting down, I ran up to him.

"Naruto!" I shouted

"oh? Oh hi kanji!" Naruto shouted back

I grinned and gave him my hand. I pulled him up and smiled happily. See, Naruto isn't dead.

"Ouch!"

I held my my head and so did Naruto. I pouted and glared at Sasuke.

"hey why did you hit me- I mean us, ya know?!" I yelled

"yeah, dattebayo!" Naruto whined

"idiots..did you both forget about meal time?" Sasuke said

oh yeah... I didn't eat breakfast.. Hehe oops.

Me and Naruto chucked sheepishly, while Sasuke grunted.

-forward to when Naruto falls off tree :)

"Naruto!" Sakura yelled loudly, "what in the world is Naruto doing? and Sasuke and Kanji haven't come back either..."

I yawned and stood here bored out of my mind, I knew what Naruto was gonna do. But who knew of it was really going to work.. A kunai flew from the air and logged itself into the ground, shocking both Sakura and Otōsan. We all looked up into the tree where it came from. To see Naruto on a high branch laying down, and staring at us with a huge grin. I smiled at his work, he managed to get far up the tree already in a short amount of time.

"No way..Naruto can climb that high now? Wow!" Sakura awed

"how about that, how about that?! As for me, I can climb this high now!" Naruto shouted and jumped up

"Woah!" Naruto shouted as he slipped off the branch

I smirked, I couldn't wait to see their faces.

"Oh, you Baka!" Sakura yelled

"this is bad!" Otōsan yelled

I covered my mouth to keep in my laughter, I couldn't give it away now, this was just to funny. Sakura yelled and shut her eyes, Naruto used his chakra and hung upside down on the branch.

"Gotcha!" Naruto taunted

I burst out laughing. Oh dear Jashin, their faces hahahah! Classic. I wiped a imaginary tear and smirked, they fell for it.

"You fell for it, you fell for it!!" Naruto yelled while laughing

"don't scare us like that!" Sakura scolded

I laughed but immediately stopped when Naruto really fell, this idiot!!

"oh you Baka, Naruto! It's cuz you went overboard!" Sakura yelled

Oh my Jashin! What do I do!! I bit my lip and started thinking of ways to save him. Can't I just climb the and catch him.. I smacked my self and ran towards Naruto, I jumped up and caught him by the neck of jacket. I quickly grabbed a hold of another branch, so one hand had Naruto, while the other hand was holding on to the branch door dear life. I groaned, Naruto wasn't so light, he's pretty heavy. I don't know how long I'm going to be able to hold him. I concentrated chakra into my hands so I could at least lift Naruto to the branch above me.

"Ahh! Nice catch Kanji!" Sakura yelled

Those four our words made me lose all concentration, this is why I hate squealing fan girls... I quickly threw Naruto onto the branch above me, this made me lose grip on the branch. I let go of the branch and started to fall down.

"Naruto hold on to the branch Baka!" I yelled as I fell

"Kanji!!" Otōsan and Sakura yelled

I probably won't die, but if I do...it's all Sakura's fault. I closed my eyes and waited to hit the ground, but It never came. I opened my eyes and saw Sasuke holding my ankle. I gawked at him, he saved me.

"Hn..you baka!" He grunted

"shut up teme!" I Snarled, Sasuke was still in my nerves, he needs to have faith in his team...

few hours later

I panted badly, I finally made it to the top of my tree. All three of us did, Sasuke, Naruto and me. I grinned and looked at both the boys.

"S-Shall we head back?" Sasuke panted out

"h-hai" I said while Naruto nodded

We jumped down and started walking back to Tazuna's house. It was Sasuke on my right, and Naruto on my left, so I was in the middle holding the two boys up.

At Tazuna's house. (Sorry for all the skips and stuff in this chapter!!)

I kicked the door open and we walked in slowly.

"what happened to you three? You're all really muddy and really wiped out." Tazuna questioned

we all looked at Tazuna, I smirked at him.

"all three of us...climbed to the top." Naruto exclaimed happily

"Good! Naruto, Sasuke, Kanji, you'll also start guarding Tazuna next time." Otōsan ordered

My smirk got even bigger. We finally get to protect Tazuna, yahoo!!

"Got it!" Naruto yelled jumping up, "whoa!"

We we all fell to the floor in a pile, I was being squished by Naruto. I felt bad for Sasuke though, he had noth of us on top of him. I groaned and pushed Naruto off, and helped Sasuke up.

"you baka!" Sasuke muttered

Everyone laughed. We sat at the table and ate our food. Once we were done Tazuna started talking about the bridge.

"In just a bit, the bridge will be complete. It's thanks to you guys." Tazuna explained

"even so don't let your guard down.." Tsunami warned

Tazuna nodded and got serious.

"I've really water to ask you for a long time now... But why are you here even though I lied about the mission?" Tazuna asked

"to see what is right without doing it bespeaks and absence of courage. Like master, like man. It's a teaching of the late Hokage." Otōsan explained

I saw Inari go tense, and stare at Naruto with glazed eyes. I eyed him for awhile and was about turn away till I saw tears flowing out of his eyes. My gaze softened.

"Why..?" Inari questioned

"what is it?" Naruto asked

Inari slammed his hands on the table and stood up, I flinched and jumped in surprise.

"Why do you desperately work so hard until you get like that?! There's no way you'd be a match for Gato's men even if you train! No matter what cool things you say or how much effort you make.. The weak always lose against those truly strong!" Inari yelled as more years poured out his eyes.

"shut up...I'm not like you" Naruto said boredly

"Shut up! Looking at you makes me sick! Sticking your nose in, even thigh you know nothing of this island! I'm not like you who's always acting frivolous, without knowing on thing about pain!" Inari yelled once more

I growled, I know pain...Naruto knows pain and so does Sasuke and either way Inari shouldn't say something like that so easily...

"so you're just gonna cry all day like the lead in a tragedy? An idiot like you can just cry forever! Crybaby!" Naruto shouted

"Naruto! That's a bit harsh!" Sakura yelled

Naruto grunted and walked out the room. I took this chance to say something.

"Sakura...shut up for once will you.." I scowled

Sakura froze and stared at me, I stood up and walked out the room as did Inari. I really spent 30 minutes in my room, I decided to get some fresh. When I got outside I saw Inari huddled up by the water, I walked next to him and sat down.

"want do you want?" Inari spat

I winced.

"hm..nothing.. Just needed some fresh air.." I said

I stared at the ocean, it was so beautiful... My thoughts started to wander to the conversation we had a dinner.

"Inari.. Can I tell you something.."I said

"huh?"

"Can I tell you something I haven't told a soul yet, but you have to promise that you want tell, ya know" I whispered

"oh..I promise I won't tell.." Inari replied

I nodded and began to explain my life really, "Well once upon a time there was a little girl with beautiful long brown hair, she had a twin and they loved a wonderful life with their parents. They laughed, cried, and loved each other very much. But that all changed one day... The little girl woke up to screams and shouts of pain, in panic she woke up her beloved twin brother. Her brother heard all the screams and got worried immediately, he watched his poor twin cry and shake in fear. She told her brother, 'we need to hide, what if kaasan and Otōsan are dead.' Her brother said, 'don't worry we will fond them..now let's hurry before were to late' She was shocked at how strong and confident her brother was, and frowned and how weak and shy she was..she was nothing like her bother. They ran down the halls and kicked their parents room doer open only to see, their parents throat sliced open right in front of their own eyes. They were killed by a masked man.. Scared out of their minds they ran outside. The little girl was crying so much, and all her brother could do was watch, he couldn't do or say anything, they bother saw their parents killed. Finally the little boy said 'I know you want to leave but we can't..I promise we can leave when were 12' His twin sister was in pure rage she wanted to leave their village now, she didn't want to stay she had no reason to stay. She'd prefer die and go with her parents then live another day in this world, but her brother managed to convince her to stay till they turned 12"

Tears rolled down my cheeks, these memories were painful, but I needed him to know we did know pain..

"is that it? What happened after that?" Inari asked

"you want me to go on still?" I said trying to act strong, but of course my voice cracked

"yeah..if you don't mind" Inari mumbled

I took a deep breath and continued, "4 years later, the two twins were 9. They walked down the street like anyone would, other people greeted each other but when anyone saw the twins, they gave them looks of pity. The girl, hated no..despised the looks of pity she received from everyone. She always thought that they shouldn't be giving the twins those looks, after all they didn't know what the twins went through. All the pain, physically and emotionally. She wanted to be with her family, them be in this world, she had no point in living really, but the only thing that kept her alive was her brother. Her only loved one left. But ever since the day of their parents murder, nothing was ever the same again.. One day she started to cut herself, first they were just small wounds, but that soon led to larger more bloodier cuts. As soon as she reached the age of 12, she was covered in scars, ranging in many sizes. But she had one that was a prize, me she was proud of. This scar started from below her neck and ended at her waist, she was loved her work, merely smiling at her addition. But did she manage to hide is from her brother? No. He caught her and grounded her, but this did not stop her. During that period of time, she found a pair of scissors and came up with a brilliant idea. Smiling sadistly she cut off her luscious hair, till it was as short as a boys. No one looked at her the same, no they thought the beautiful young girl was dead. Hah were they wrong, the young girl declared dead was in front of their eyes the whole time. From that day on she acted- no she was a sadist. She killed innocent people day after day, until she was caught by her brother... The sadist in her was sealed away, never to be seen again..." I finished.

I was crying nonstop. I couldn't believe I told him my life story, he's the first one to know, not even Kakashi knows. I wiped my eyes and glanced at Inari.

"All I'm trying to say is we DO know what pain is, me, Naruto... Sasuke... Naruto never had any parents nor friends, he was always shunned and beat, Sasuke...well his parents are dead, I think they were killed. We suffer everyday when nobody notices, me and Naruto smile all day like nothing and happened in our past, but that smile just covers up our trie pain.. So please don't say something like that again, that's all I ask of you.." I explained

Silence...

"I'm sorry, I won't say something like that again.. And can I ask you something?" Inari said

I grunted and waited for his question.

"Who was the girl in the story?" Inari asked

I stood up and began to walk away, but I stopped.

Silence..

"That girl was...me.." I said and transported into my room

Kakashi's view

I listened to Kanji's story, it was very...depressing. I came here to explain why Naruto yelled at the table, but it looks like my job was already taken..

"Who was the girl in the story?" Inari asked

my ears perked up at this, I also wanted to know who this story was about. Kanji stood up and walked away, Inari was about to yell but as soon as Kanji stopped he shut his mouth and waited. Silence came..

"That girl was...me.." Kanji said and disappeared

I was frozen in pure shock, the little girl was her!? why didn't she tell me this..
