[ One Day Later ]

Ko's View

I ran down the hallway, making my way to the host club as fast as I possibly could. Both Hideki and Tomoyo are in danger, that creep, Iada, has them as hostages. And I'm not so excited about what he plans to do with them, mainly Hideki... Since he has an infatuation for Tomoyo, I highly doubt he will hurt her. But for Hideki, it's the opposite. He's considered a threat.

I pushed past people, shoving most of out my way till I stood infront of the host clubs door. This is it! I pushed the doors open, standing there exhausted and afraid. Luckily the club was empty, so only the members of the host club could stare at my sudden appearance.

"K-Kaoru-senpai!" I shouted, falling to my knees ovee exhaustion.

Kaoru ran over to me with wide eyes, he went on his knees and grabbed my shoulders. "Where is she... Ko, do you know where Hideki and Tomoyo are?!" He asked quietly, glancing nervously at the tall boy with dark hair and the short one with the pink bear.

My heart dropped at their names, I bit my lip and hung my head. "They're both gone... Ever since Hideki did his part of thr mission, he hasn't come back. I believe that Iada has them both as hostages, senpai. I'm s-sorry." I explained, shutting my eyes. I had tears brimming my eyes. "They're hostages n-now... And I can't do anything but c-cry and a-act strong when I'm n-not!"

Unknown to Kaoru and the others, Hideki and I were very close. Almost like a pair of siblings would be, or in this case, how Kaoru and Hikaru are. I also had to admit, I did grow a bit closer Tomoyo than I intended to, but I know that she's with Kaoru. Y-Yes... I admit to liking her more than a friend.

Kaoru's hands fell to his side, shock written all over his face. "Sh-She's...what?" He asked, for Tomoyo only. I understood, she was his and he cared deeply for her more than he cared for Hideki.

I gulped, staring down at the floor. "She's gone... We've been following a dead lead this whole time." I muttered, my voice void of emotion. "Who's knows where they are, he could be keeping them anywhere."

Kaoru snarled and banged his hands against the ground. "Damn it, damn it, damn it!" He shouted, standing up and yanking at his auburn hair. He started to curse under his breath, tears ran down his face like a waterfall, a one that never seemed to stop.

The tall boy and short blonde haired boy ran over to me, the rest ran to Kaoru to try comforting him.

The tall one glanced at me blankly, but I could tell that deep in his eyes he held sadness and pain. "...Do you have anything else to say?" He asked, a small, small trace of hope in his voice.

I shook my head. "No, that's all I've learned and heard do far."' I answered.

He frowned and looked down at the ground. The small boy skipped over to me with big eyes. "Ko-kun, does that mean Tomo is lost?" He asked.

I sighed, nodding sadly. "It seems so..." I replied.

I was about to speak again, to ask these to why they were so interested in finding her. But before I could, the doors to the host club flew open. We all snapped our gazes over to the door, to see miku standing there panting like crazy. She wiped her forehead and smiled when she spotted me and Kaoru.

"Ah, there you guys are!" She exclaimed, happily. "I f-found something out, and it's important!" She immediately frowned upon seeing our frowns. "Um.... What happened?"

I stood up and walked over to her, "Hideki and Tomoyo were kidnapped, and are being held hostage by Iada." I replied blankly.

She gasped, "So I was right..." She muttered.

My ears twitched, "wait, what do you mean you were right?" I asked, confused.

She smiled crookedly, "well, I was going to say what I found about before I saw all of you in this depressed mood. Anyways, what I was going to say was I found out where Iada is keeping them. And... I have some... footage you might want to see." She said, wincing at her last few words.

She glanced at the tall host club member with glasses. "Kyoya-senpai, I need your help real quick." She mused, waving him over.

The boy known as Kyoya walked over and stared down at her. "Go on, explain. I will only help you since you know something about Tomoyo's whereabouts." He said, pushing his glasses up.

Kyoya helped Miku with something on her computer, they were both tense yet they managed to complete the task at hand rather quickly. Miku smiled and clapped her hands.

"Got it! Now... I need all of you to come over here real quick." She said, biting her lip.

We all circled the computer on top of the table. Miku reached out and moved the cursor over to the arrow, or play button. As soon as she clocked the button, footage from what seems to be an abandoned room appeared in the screen. I stared at the screen intently, what was this supposed to show us?

The door in the video opened, Iada walked in. He was smirking madly, Iada laughed and pushed the closest door open, revealing a series of boxes inside.

"Kaoru, Ko... Remember those paintings I showed you of Tomoyo?" She asked, glancing between us. We both nodded. She glared at the screen. "This was the room I found them in, more precisely... This is the room where Tomoyo and Hideki must be held."

I gasped. This room? So, Miku stepped foot in that mans hideout and left safely?

Kaoru pointed at the screen, "that room... I know where that room is!" He shouted, looking at his brother. "Hikaru, don't you remember this room as well?"

Hikaru's eyes widened in what seemed to be recognition. "Yeah! Isn't it one info the abandoned supply closets?" He stated, leaning in a bit closer. "I think this room is somewhere around the second floor..."

Suddenly the footage cheated, the door opened once more, but instead of Iada walking in... Miku did. She was wearing very childish clothing, it looked like something I'd see Tomoyo wearing, not her. I rose an eyebrow over at Miku.

"Care to explain?" I asked.

She blushed, "no thanks, maybe later." She mused.

It skipped to the part where a box and all its contents poured over her head. All our eye widened at what was inside of the box. There was tons of photos of Tomoyo, most of the, were very inappropriate to say the least...

The footage skipped once more.

Iada walked in with Hideki, Heidi was eyeing the room in curiosity. Iada must've said something that shocked Hideki, because Hideki snapped his head in his direction. Iada walked over to Hideki with a dark smile, he was holding rope behind his back. Oh gods... I covered my mouth in horror. Was he going to kill Hideki?

It went so fast. Hideki had tried to break out of the rook, but it was locked from what we could tell. Iada trailed his finger down Hideki's face before pulling the rope from behind his back, he wrapped the rope around Hideki's neck and choked him.

I gasped. "so this is what happened..." I said.

"This is all my fault..." Kaoru mumbled, shaking his head. I even began to think it was his fault, he did send Hideki to complete his part of the mission we had been assigned.

I really wished there was sound in this footage. I understood, the whole no sound thing really was due to the computers crappy functioning. We all watched as Hideki was choked to death, I noticed how his lips moved faintly before his head fell limo to the side. The footage then started to scratch, a weird sound emitted form the computer. I rose an eyebrow and leaned in closer, wanting to hear what the mysterious noise was.

It was the sound of a door getting hit roughly. "Hide... Ki! He.. Help!"

My eyes hardened. That was no doubt Tomoyo's voice.

"Miku, put the volume up and rewind the footage a bit." I ordered.

"Huh? Why?" She asked.

"Just do it! Trust me!" I shouted, earning a few stares from the others.

She hurriedly pressed the volume button, and rewinded the footage back a few seconds. "Now, listen closely. Don't say anything at all." I said.

It replayed the whole scene of Hideki getting strangled, then right as he fell limp. We all heard our precious Tomoyo.

"HIDEKI! HIDEKI! HELP!"

Sorry if is chapter is short, I really can't tell with an iPad how long the chapter is.... It makes everything seems so small... .-. Anyways, I hoped you all enjoyed this chapter. Hehe. What will happen next? Will Iada be taken into custody? But the biggest question is...
