Special Chapter: First Date?! Pt.2
Kaoru's View
"Tomo, since your brother and cousin locking you up in your room wouldn't that mean the only way out is through the window?" I asked, confirming my prediction.
She nodded and walked towards her bed. "It does, gomen Kaoru. Our date is already starting off badly..." She whispered, her voice laced with pure sadness.
Frowning, I walked over to her and patted her head softly. "You shouldn't worry about that so much. Our date has yet to begin." I said, turning her face towards me.
There was a frown on her face, sighing I pecked her lips softly. "Don't worry so much, my princess." I whispered.
She smiled happily, her enthusiasm started to come back to her. Finally, my beloved Tomo didn't need to worry no longer. She could be happy without a doubt in the world, even if it was just for today. I walked over to her bed and grabbed her purse, gently handing it to her.
"Now then, we should start heading out. We wouldn't want your brothers to catch us leaving the house without permission." I mused, winking over at her.
Tomoyo blushed and ran to the window ready to leave. Clearing her throat she motioned towards the window and ladder I happened to bring with me. Walking over, I looked out the window at the ground.
"I'll go down first, then you'll come down. Alright?" I asked.
She nodded, "Got it, Kaoru-kun!"
I smiled. "Good." I said.
With that, I stepped out the window. I placed my leg in the first step then did so with the other leg. After that was down I made my way down the ladder easily with no problems whatsoever. I hopped onto the ground, and then looked up at Tomoyo who seemed to be shocked at the height. I raised an eyebrow. Was she afraid of heights?
"Tomo, you can start to make your way down now. As far as I'm concerned, the ladder is pretty sturdy and useable!" I shouted, cupping my hands around my mouth to make my voice loud enough for her to hear.
Tomoyo stuck her head a bit further and squeaked. I sighed. So she must be afraid of heights. I guess we just might have to conquer this fear today.
"Tomo, don't worry. Just step on the ladders first steps or so and make your way down the rest of it slowly! I'm here, too." I shouted.
"O-Okay! I'm co-coming d-down then!" She shouted back, stepping out the window onto the ladder.
My stomach began to knot. I had a bad feeling. Just as Tomoyo was about to take another step down, I noticed that one particular bar was cracked. My eyes flew open. How was it cracked?' I know for a fact that I did not step on any of them too hard, none of them should even be breaking! Tomo!
"Tomo!" I shouted, hurriedly. "Be careful! Watch you step!"
"What?" She shouted back, stepping onto the cracked bar. "I couldn't hear you-!"
It broke.
"Ahhh! Help!! Kaoru!" She yelled.
She was slowly falling to the ground, and I ran to her in seconds like my life depended on it. Though, it was her life at stake.
"Kaoru!" She screamed.
"Shh! I'm right underneath you. I'll catch you! Trust me!" I yelled, waiting for her to fall in my open arms.
I heard a reply. 'Hurry, please.' That was all the motivation I needed. I looked up with determination. I'll save you, my princess! Don't you worry! I caught her and skidded back a bit with the impact, my legs wobbled till they gave up on me and collapsed.
I coughed at the sudden force, "are you okay?" I asked,
She looked at me with wide eyes, "Yeah...." She whispered, a grin slowly growing on her lips. "You did it! Thank you, thank you, thank you, Kaoru-kun! You caught me!" She exclaimed in glee.
I chuckled lightly, "I did say I would catch you. I kept my promise." I stated, holding her tightly.
She giggled before bursting out in laughter. "You did, Kaoru, you did." Her laughter was like music to my ears.
I smirked, "Now, how about we go begin our date?"
Her eyes sparkled and she nodded franticly. "Lets go!" She shouted.

Tomoyo's View.
I skipped around in the streets with Kaoru. We were heading towards who knows where for our first event. From what Kaoru said, we have two small events planned then the big one is at the end. I have no idea what any of them are either. Kaoru led me around occasionally telling me to stop swooning over stuffed pandas and paintings of pandas. He told me that preferred me fawning over him. I might have pushed it away for the time being, but not without a small comment.
"Kaoru-kun wants me to be a obsessed fan-girl!" I sung, hopping around.
Kaoru turned red. He covered my mouth and laughed nervously. "Hahaha, Tomo-chan. I wouldn't want you to change, but if you ever do decide to. Please don't head in that certain direction!" Kaoru pleaded.
I smirked, something that Kaoru and maybe the whole host club hadn't seen yet. "No promises, Kaoru-kun." I giggled.
Kaoru sweat dropped and muttered something under his breath, it kind of sounded like 'My god, what have I done?' Or, 'I'm beginning to act like Hikaru! First I'm getting a bit cocky, what next?! I could become a pervert just like him!' At the last comment, I moved away from him a bit.
I coughed, "Um, where are we going first?" I asked, looking at all the stars and lights that sparkled along with the night.
"You'll see when we get there, what kind of surprise would it be if I told you?" He said, flicking my nose lightly.
I pouted. "A very boring one..." I muttered, my arms now crossed.
I could feel the smirk find its way onto his lips. "Exactly."
Kaoru and I walked three more blocks till we got to our destination. It was an amusement park. My eyes sparkled in pure delight at the sight of it. I've never been to one before, especially one this big! This is huge! I wonder how many rides could possibly be inside! I grabbed Kaoru's hand.
"Ne, ne! Are we going here, huh! Are we?!" I rambled on and on.
He laughed, "Of course. I didn't bring you here to simply tease you." He said. "So, shall we begin the first event of the night?"
I nodded my head rapidly, like a schoolgirl about to meet her favorite idol. "Yes!" I shouted.
He grinned, "Alright. Hm... How about we try out that ride first." He suggested, pointing at a very tall ride.
From what I can see, the ride looks like it brings you all the way up then suddenly drops you down at any sudden moment. Some people would call it a 'giant drop.' I shifted uncomfortably. I had to admit that I was afraid of going on this ride... You can tell i have this small fear of heights, as experienced earlier.
But before I really made up my mind about my decision, I blurted out the first thing in my mind.
"S-Sure, why not?" I blurted out, forcing a smile.
He rose an eyebrow at me, "You sure? We could always go onto a ride you'd prefer. After all, I'm the one treating you today." He said.
"No, it's f-fine! I want the both of us to have fun together." I replied, smiling up at him.
He nodded and interlocked his hand with mine, leading the both of us towards the ride. The whole time we waited for the ride made my nervousness rise. Finally, the ticket holder called us forward.
"Tickets please." He said, holding out his hand.
Frowning, I glanced at Kaoru. We never bought any tickets. How are we going to go any further? He searched through his pocket and showed the ticket holder some sort of identification. The ticket holder's eyes flew open and he bowed his head, apologizing under his breath. He moved to the side letting us trough.
"I hope you enjoy your time here, Kaoru-sama." The man said.
"Kaoru-sama?" I asked, looking at Kaoru for an explanation.
He sighed, "I'll explain later, darling. Not now. The rides about to begin." He stated.
Kaoru and I sat near each other. The other two seats beside me were taken by a few strangers not that I really cared. There was a sudden static like noise.
"Please buckle up, for the ride is about to begin." The ticket holder announced.
I pulled the cover above my head down and buckled the seat together to keep me safe.
"We are now commencing."
Kaoru held my hand, squeezing it every now and then as we slowly made our way to the top. The higher we went the dizzier I got. My breathing became labored. I'm not ready for this. This is much higher than falling out a two-story window. I can't, I just can't. He squeezed my hand all of a sudden.
"It'll be alright, Tomo-chan. I'm right here with you." He whispered.
I nodded and took a deep breath, "I know, thank you, Kaoru-kun."
The ride hit a halt. It seems like we finally hit the top... Gulping, I dared myself to look down at the park from this height. Oh, did I regret it. I saw everything, the people, the children running around, the other rides. All I knew was we were very high up. I waited for the ride to plummet to the ground, but no matter how many times I counted to ten it seemed like the ride was never going to fall. The ride began to slowly make its way back down and my eyes flew open.
Is it alright if I decide to get off midway through the ride?!
