[Chapter Three] ~ T I C K T O C K
12:34 PM, Monday - Free Day - Two days before Community Service - Lavender Residence
She rested at the top of the stairs as she listened to her parents bicker. Perhaps they thought she was sleeping, thinking she didn't know what was going on when in fact she did. Danielle knew exactly what was going on and she didn't like it at all. Her parents were on the verge of divorce, shame it was. Danielle wished she had noticed earlier, the fact her mother went out more, her father scowling more in her mother's direction. Gabrielle Lavender was her mother's name, her father named Daniel Lavender, her name was a mix of there name, Danielle.
She had her mother's looks of course, red hair and blue eyes, white skin, known as Caucasian in other countries, or perhaps know as white too. Her father had blond hair, with bright blue eyes. He was a catch for older women, Danielle didn't know how her mother could just let him go like that. Especially when she had a daughter to take care of.
'I always knew my mother was a witch.' Danielle thought sourly, perhaps it was true. Her mother had changed ever since Danielle started grade school. Danielle knew she at least shouldn't focus on that fact, so Danielle watched the clock as it ticked towards 12:40.
Perfect.
Danielle listened as her parent's noise faded away. She slowly stood up from her place on the step of the stairs and quietly tiptoed towards her room. She looked around the beige walls with little star stickers. Danielle was a,ways fascinated with the sky, it was one of the things she liked to observe. Danielle walked over to the window that hanged over her bed, lifting up the glass Danielle quickly removed the screen before climbing onto the roof.
It was Danielle's place to think, besides she loved looking at the stars. Danielle watched as the twinkled and danced across the sky, the moon shone in a silver light behind her. She had to smile, for something so wonderful was barely seen anymore. Pollution corrupted the skies, stars were barely noticed and if they were, all you noticed was a dot. So Danielle cherished these moments, for while pollution was a thing. Her parents divorce would make her move away Danielle hoped to stay here, she couldn't bare to go.
Danielle didn't know how long she stayed watching the stars, she knew she would have to head to bed soon. Light began to shine in the corners of Danielle's vision.
'Daybreak.' Danielle thought.
Danielle quietly climbed into the house, knowing she would have school tomorrow which also meant community service was getting closer.

[Author's Mini note #1]
Hello, the author KiwiMehNinjia here. Alright here's the deal, I'm sorry that these chapters are short but I'm not exactly sure how to make them longer, I mean each chapter is at a different setting and there's only so much I can think for a chapter I of course would make them 1500 words if I could, but I can't you see, for Im not an extreme writer like @_Ahna_ or @Greenninjagal . So yeah this is the best I can do so far, I only started writing a year ago, and that was little prompts and stuff. And yes I know I've been on Wattpad since 2014 but that was when my writing was extremely horrible. I mean I have improved since then if you've ever seen the account @KiwiMahNinjia then you'll know I was horrible. But as I was saying, it takes me longer for me to improve. Even when looking at Wattpad help books, those don't exactly help, they just simply tell you, can't exactly understand by just reading. So I'll have to go step by step I suppose. Enjoy Community Service as it progresses.
