1. Maaari mo bang ibahagi sa amin ang kuwento sa likod ng iyong Wattpad username?

My username ZSUEITX pronounced as [ sweet ] ay nanggaling sa isa sa mga linya ni Suga ng BTS sa kanta nilang 'Mic Drop'. There was a line where Suga goes "Sue It" and that sounded so cool to me that I used it as my username. And to be actually honest, I don't have any idea what username to use that time. But when I typed in "sueit" as my username, it looked lacking. Parang walang balance, kaya nadagdag ang 'z' sa harap ng sueit tsaka 'x' sa huli, because it looks more balance in my eyes like that. Now that I'm actually recalling it, it's kind of funny.

2. Gaano kahalaga sa iyo ang pagsusulat at bakit?

Writing means a lot to me. I breath in it, dwell in it and it's one of the things that makes me, "me". I treasure writing a lot as it is one of the things that I embrace out of my own volition. Writing makes me feel alive, makes me feel emotions — a reminder I'm alive and breathing.

3. Mayroon ka bang sariling akda na nais mong irekomenda sa mga hindi pa nakapagbabasa ng iyong gawa?

4. Sa pagpasok ng taong 2023, ano-ano ang mga dapat abangan ng iyong mambabasa sa iyo?

How the worlds of my series [ blessed & accursed ] and [ music & mayhem ] are bound to collide and intertwine. If you're interested in lore that includes deities, angels, demons and a pinch of past lives, then this is for you.

5. Ano ang iyong ginagawa kapag nakararanas ka ng writer's block?

Kapag nakakaranas ako ng writer's block kadalasang kong ginagawa ay mag-basa at manuod ng anime. Minsan naman, kahit anong pagbabasa gawin ko at wala parin ay nagpapahinga ako. Naglalaro din ako ng mobile games minsan upang mahimasmasan sa frustration na dala ng writer's block.

6. Para sa iyo, ano ang pinakamahirap na aspeto ng pagiging manunulat?

Bringing your characters to life. It is so easy to make an ideal character that you're planning to breathe into life, but actually bringing them to life is harder than I expected. You have to give them something that readers would remember, or paint them with something that makes them seem real and human, and that's really really hard.

7. Ano o sino naman ang iyong nagsisilbing inspirasyon sa pagsusulat?

One of my inspirations in writing is Chawi (stickenstine) and Jel (ryujel), friends that I meet through wattpad along with my irl friends and readers who never fail to support and encourage me. They gave me motivation to continue writing which means a lot to me!

8. Bukod sa pagsusulat, ano pa ang pinagkakaabalahan mo sa iyong libreng oras?

I usually spend my free time reading stories, manga & manhwa. Sometimes, I watch anime too. Most of the time, I play Genshin Impact.

9. Ano ang iyong pinakahindi makalilimutan na karanasan bilang isang manunulat?

One of the most unforgettable experience I have as a writer was probably the time where most of my mutuals, friends and readers here in wattpad are still active, and the way my phone would boom with notifications everyday — a reminder that there are people who appreciates the world I build and characters I've written. Nostalgic. I could also never forget the time I received a message from RomancePH saying I won one of their contest. My heart leapt at that time.

10. Saan mo nakikita ang sarili mo pagkalipas ng limang taon?

In five years time, I could see myself working my desired profession and would still be actively writing.

11. Ano ang iyong maipapayo o mensahe sa mga bagong manunulat?

To new writers, ( just like myself since I don't have a lot of experience in this field either ) one of the things I would like to say is that: write for yourself. It is so easy to lose sight of what you're writing for when you're not primarily writing for yourself. We're humans after all, some of us tend to chase for other people's validation and that will affect our writing in various ways than we realize, but writing for yourself will keep you grounded — and sane. Also, write what makes you happy. Writing wouldn't mean so much, nor would it come easily if it doesn't make you happy. There's a lot of difference in writing when what you're writing actually makes you happy. And be kind to yourself! It's okay to not have a unique plot, or to come up with a cool title, or to not write anything in a single day. It's all progress. Be kind to yourself and continue writing! Fighting!

In Midst of Colors & Warmth

Taka kong tiningnan sina Miana na pilit akong pinapadali patungo sa jeep na sasakyan namin. Sabagay, male-late na talaga kami para sa fireworks display na gaganapin sa square.

Ngunit pag-akyat ko ng jeep, saka ko lang napagtanto kung bakit nila ako minamadali.

Nandito si Riyoon.

Miana and Raven gave me a knowing look, napailing lang ako bago tahimik na naupo sa tabi ni Riyoon — ang lalaking gusto ko. Talagang nag-iwan sila ng space para lang makatabi ako kay Riyoon.

Tahimik lang akong nakinig sa mga kaibigan ko na nagsimula nang mag-ingay sa jeep. I couldn't help but get conscious of Riyoon who's silently sitting beside me. It's Riyoon. And god, I'm really sitting next to him.

Ngunit natigilan kaming lahat nang biglaan na lang huminto ang jeep at para akong mabibingi sa bilis ng tibok ng dibdib ko nang hinawakan ni Riyoon ang kamay ko. Magkahawak-kamay kami.

But Riyoon wasn't looking at me, but at the fireworks painting the sky. The way the colors burst and reflect in his eyes made me gulp, made my heart drum against my rib cage and I couldn't breath. His eyes shone brightly and it took my breath away. It's so — mesmerizing.

Riyoon smiled a little, one he probably didn't even know he's wearing as his grip on my hand tightened. I kept a smile to myself as I let the warmth in his hand sink into mine.

Ah, seriously. His hand is really, really warm.
