1. Ilang taon ka nang Wattpad Ambassador at saang team ka kabilang? 

I've been a Wattpad ambassador since July 2020, so going on two years. During the beginning of that period, I was part of the Content team, but then I switched to the Outreach team. Now, after a year of being a part of Outreach, I'm starting training in the Engagement team. I'm also one of Wattpad Philippines' Content Associates for Paid Stories (almost a year na!). 

2. Ano ang iyong mga ginagawa bilang Ambassador? 

As an Outreach ambassador, we screen stories and reach out to writers and share resources for them to continue writing on Wattpad and to increase readability. 

3. Bakit mo napagdesisyunang maging Wattpad Ambassador? 

I chose to be a Wattpad ambassador because Wattpad is a community I love being a part of. I love working behind the scenes to make it a more welcoming and trustworthy place for writers and readers. Though it's both a rewarding opportunity and a heavy responsibility, I get to further my limits as to where I can go and what I can do to accomplish what is fulfilling and helpful to the other members of the Wattpad community. 

4. Ano ang pinakamasaya at pinakamahirap na parte sa pagiging Ambassador? 

I think the most enjoyable part is seeing how other ambassadors from different parts of the world work together to support Wattpaders—like this common goal brings us all together. The hardest part, I believe, is keeping up with everything that's going on because we're a team of about 700 members (I'm really not sure, it could be more), so everyone has to be on the same page and everyone has to do their part to achieve our common goal. 

5. Paano mo napagsasabay ang pagiging ambassador at mga pinagkakaabalahan mo sa labas ng Wattpad? 

I have no idea, HAHAHA. I'm also a graduating senior in college and working as one of Wattpad Philippines' Content Associates for Paid Stories. I want to say time management pero wala po akong gano'n (joke)—it might sound cliché, but I think it's my love for Wattpad that keeps me afloat despite the many responsibilities I handle. (Plus keeping a planner para organized tayo.) 

6. Ano ang pinakamagandang aral na natutunan mo sa pagiging ambassador? 

To be kind—always. It's simple but so powerful. 

7. Ano ang iyong masasabi sa culture at working environment ng Wattpad Ambassadors? 

It's very welcoming. I think the most important thing about being a volunteer/employee is being able to feel safe in the environment, and Wattpad gives that to us by making sure we know our health and comfort are prioritized. 

8. Paano nakatutulong ang iyong pagiging ambassador bilang isang manunulat o mambabasá?

Since joining Wattpad last 2014, I have always been an English writer and reader. My stories—and the ones I read—aren't set in Filipino or in the Philippines, and I've never tried it and I've never wanted to try it until I became an ambassador/content associate. I was more comfortable with English because I grew up speaking/writing/reading it, but then last August, I decided to try to write my first Taglish story and fell in love with the beauty of the Filipino language. It was risky and challenging for me to do this, but it was so, so worth it. Now, I read a lot of works by Filipino authors—partly because it's my job but mostly because I admire them for being able to weave heart-wrenching stories by rearranging only 28 letters of the Filipino alphabet. Kudos. 

9. Maaari mo bang ibahagi sa amin ang isa sa hindi mo makalilimutang karanasan mula nang ika'y maging isang Ambassador? 

Being a part of WattpadNow's hosts for WattpadPH's Kumu channel for season 1 and 2 has been the most fulfilling part of the (almost) two years as an ambassador. Connecting and engaging with Wattpaders live is a dream come true. Aside from my public speaking skills and anxiety improving, I admire the WattpadPH, Kumu, and CG team for all the efforts put into bringing stories and the minds and hearts behind those stories to the screen. My favorite part of the week is being able to talk to the Wattpad community face to face with my fellow ambassadors and writers. 

10. Bilang isang Ambassador, paano mo hina-handle ang kritisismo ng ibang Wattpaders sa ating ginagawa para sa buong community? 

It's hard to hear, but I try to take it in stride especially when I'm in the wrong. Mahirap lalo na at overthinker ako na may anxiety, pero I take it as a lesson to do better in the future. I always remind myself that I am allowed to make mistakes and that I am only judged with what I do about those mistakes, and those who give their criticisms only want the best for me and the community. Buti nga at may open communication between the ambassadors para harmonious ang working environment. 

As for other Wattpaders...I cry it out (HAHA) and try my best not to dwell on it when the criticism/comments are uncalled for or unkind. It's hard especially as one of the faces na humaharap sa Wattpad community sa Kumu, pero it's just a matter of focusing on and redirecting my energy to the good things. 

11. Maaari ka bang magbigay ng mensahe sa lahat ng Ambassadors o payo sa mga nais mapabilang sa atin sa hinaharap? 

I want to say thank you to all the ambassadors for the work that they do! Nakakahanga talaga lalo na at voluntary ang work dito. Thank you for loving Wattpad as you do.For those who want to be an ambassador, do it for love for Wattpad. I hope I see you sa team. ♡

E-book because we're #broke, joke, e-book because I read faster using my phone, but if I really love a book, I'd order the physical copy for my shelves.

More espresso less depresso, charot, coffee all the way because I can't function without it. 

3. Mahal mo o mahal ka? 

Mahal ako kasi pagod na ako HAHA. 

4. Edward o Jacob? 

Edward! King of consent! 

5. Jollibee o McDo? 

McDo. Kaya ko mag-ubos ng 60-piece nuggets by myself. 

6. Dine-in o delivery? 

Pre-pandemic, dine-in. Ngayon, stay home and pa-deliver na lang! 

7. Forest o beach? 

Beach because it's calming, natatakot ako sa forest. 

8. Tacos o wings? 

Wings! Especially Frankie's. 

9. Tulog sa kanan o sa kaliwang bahagi ng kama? 

Kanan, because my dog sleeps on the left. 

10. Pusa o aso? 

Dog ^^^ 

11. Sitcom o drama?

Drama kasi mahilig ako umiyak sa sakit. Hehe.
