Yeah, I have a YouTube channel.

@ Fox_in_Thoughts on YouTube is where I review writing advice articles, articles related to books and writing in general, and also give random thoughts on things. Sometimes the thoughts have nothing to do with me (like, my predictions for Moana 2) and sometimes they do have something to do with me (like, talking about what it was like to go from writer to author).

My most recent video is about what it was like to go from writer to author. 

I'm not talking about the time when I decided I would self-publish and what kind of research I did to understand the pros and cons.

I'm not talking about what it was like getting editors and finding a cover artist (yes, I make my own covers on Wattpad, but for publishing, I decided to hire out because I don't want to mistakenly infringe on copyright).

I'm not talking about the aesthetic happy coffee/tea cozy author life typing up wonderful stories while it rains outside.

No, I'm talking about something I rarely see other people talk about--the reality. I rarely see new indie authors talking about what it was like to wait for your book to be released, to figure out this marketing stuff, and to realize that yeah, this is your new reality.

And so, I did. Go watch it :P

At the moment, things have calmed down quite a bit. I would suggest to people to take a few weeks break and not write or think about your book at all if you can because I decided to go right back into the editing trenches and oh my gosh, bad decision...
