No thank you!
Look at this bootiful pic of my dog I got awhile ago when she was cuddling with me ☺️
Kaiahah POV
I don't believe it.
After a year here, Kieth has discovered fire powers, so he's one of the non-Axian people who can. He is able to switch back and forth between galra and human at will. I have become Queen. My hair now reached my shoulders. Kieth's was long enough for a short braid. Apparently Matt took over my place in green, after they found him, Lance was in red and Allura in blue.
And mom is making us hold a ball.
And UNINVITED the paladins of Voltron showed up.
"Great." Kieth muttered in galra form beside me.
"Your highness. We came, even though our invite never arrived. Thank you for inviting us to your ball." Allura curtsied. I hard glared.
"You weren't invited." I growled.
"What? Why? We're the most awesome group in the universe how could we not be invited?" Lance said. By now everyone is looking at us.
"The reason I didn't invite you is because of the way you treat a person of galra blood. If they don't give you a good reason to hate them then don't! But you did that anyways with one of your own who stood by your side, and suddenly when they found out they were of galra blood you scorned and yelled at him. You treated him like dirt. Not because of his character, but because of his race that he had no idea he was apart of." I shouted. "So no, you are not the most awesome group, If you can't accept someone despite their bloodlines." The paladins looked shocked.
"How did you know about that?! We told no one about Kieth and how he ran away like a coward, and forced Pidge to go with him!" Allura snarled.
"The reason the red and green paladins ran off is because they didn't want to stick around the people they called family, when they started to neglect their own. The green paladin went willingly with Kieth because he was her friend, and does not see why he had to be treated that way. You are the cowards, not him! Now leave. I don't want to see you here."
"What about the galra beside you? Are you not concerned?" Lance asked.
"Why should I be concerned?" I rolled my eyes.
"I don't know if this was a good idea, Kai. So far this ball has been nothing but trouble, and yet it just started." Kieth whispered.
"Leave, paladins of Voltron. Matt Holt, you can stay. You are not like the other paladins, I can see. You think that what they did to Kieth was wrong. You have worked with many species in you time with the rebellion. And Coran can stay as well." I announced. "Don't make me forcibly remove you from the ball."
Grumbling, the paladins left, except for Matt and Coran. I smiled.
"Not bad. You actually handled that well. I mean, I know not to get on your bad side, but dam, that's a whole different way of fighting." Kieth complimented.
"Uhhhhh" Matt said.
"Sorry about that. I don't like they treated him." I apologized.
"You're right though. I didn't like how they treated Kieth. I knew him back at the garrison, sure he was a bit of a trouble maker but he was always nice once you got on his good side. I helped him with homework sometimes." Matt said. Everyone was still watching.
"I agree. Kieth was always helpful with tasks around the castle that I couldn't do or did not have the time for. Now I have a chore list because Kieth and Pidge were the only ones who would help me willingly." Coran sighed.
"What happened to them? I mean, how did you know that the paladins did that?" Matt asked.
"Well, Matt, you know how your sister was adopted?" I asked. He nodded.
"Surprise! It's me Pidge and I'm right here." I smiled. "And the galra is Kieth. He can go back and forth between galra and human now."
"Whaat?!" Matt and Coran said. Kieth and I laughed. Matt and Coran Joined in after their shock and everyone went back to what they were doing.
"Do not tell the paladins about this." I said. They agreed and stayed for a few hours.
Timeskip
Matt POV
"There you two are! Where have you been? Were you actually at that ball? We will have no alliance with Axius if the queen and her friends are that rude!" Allura shouted.
"Now I know what Keith felt like! The Queen wasn't the rude one, you guys were! You all automatically assumed you were invited and didn't check for confirmation that you were, showed up unannounced and openly scorned two of her close allies and friends who sought her help, after you all but kicked them out! They are nowhere near Axius now, and to keep attention off of each other, have had no contact in months! And instead of being understanding about the invitations, you were all big babies about it! So yeah, they totally were the rude ones." I said with sarcasm. Coran and I stalked off, leaving the paladins in shock. After the door closed, Coran whispered:
"Trying to make them feel guilty?"
To which I replied;
"Course"
"I got something that could help with that." He finished and we walked away.
