Introduction
This is a four part book. Everything I will be sharing comes from my quiet times with the Lord Jesus. It's been a journey and one I have found to be the most fulfilling.
I also want to say that, a lot of what I know, I have read from the Scriptures and also learned from pastors and leaders with whom I share a great bond. I never would have been able to write without them.
Then finally, everything we learn here does not exhaust the beautiful revelations about the Holy Spirit. I learned. And I am still learning. In fact, I believe, none of us can truly know Him anymore than our fellowship with Him. What do I mean? We can only know the Holy Spirit better as often as we interact with Him.
The minute we stop having fellowship with Him, we'll only be stuck with what we used to know and never be exposed to what we can learn about Him now. Our relationship with God should be one that continues to grow, and I don't think that can happen without the presence of His Holy Spirit.
So, what should be expected in this book?
Part One
Part one of the book is the shortest. It's merely just a chapter that shows us the first place where we hear or read about the Holy Spirit. I just recently discovered that the Holy Spirit is actually the first person of the Godhead we are introduced to. The Godhead is a family of three: The Father, Son and the Holy Spirit.
In chapter one, I explain more on who the Godhead is and the role of the Holy Spirit in creating the world and the whole Earth.
Part Two
In part two, we'll briefly see how the Holy Spirit, operated in the life of Jesus. But before we get to it, we'll learn about the benefits of knowing Him. The entire part is just about our Lord. A lot of times, believers live their lives like they were never saved. I think, when we know about the life that Jesus presented to us, it helps us in our walk with Him.
Part Three
Part three deals with the functions of the Holy Spirit, in the life of the Believer. We are the church, and if we are going to serve God well, we ought to know the value that lies in abiding in Him.
Part Four
Part four deals with ways we can stir up our relationship with the Holy Spirit. I didn't write up formulas or little magic tricks that we have to do. I rather just point out things we ought to be aware of. Nothing in this book is intended to be methods we can use to relate with God. Our relationship with Him is very personal. However, there are still many things the Bible has to say about how we relate with our Father.
With all that being said ( or read), Let's begin!
