The Holy Spirit makes us fruitful

If we ever want to be successful in all we do, we need the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit can give us success that we cannot imagine. He knows us and He knows exactly what we need. He knows our likes. He knows our dislikes. Why? Because He created us.

 
- The Spirit of God has made me, And the breath of the Almighty gives me life.
Job 33:4 NKJV

If you want to ask, who does the Holy Spirit look like? He looks exactly like you. He created us and gave us life.

 
 The life we have is the hands of the Holy Spirit. He is the One in charge of our lives.
- And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.
Genesis 2:7 NKJV

 We were all just clay, until the the Holy Spirit breathed the breath of life into our being. So, the Holy Spirit has the power to keep us alive.
So how does the Holy Spirit make us fruitful?

 
- On the land of my people will come up thorns and briers, Yes, on all the happy homes in the joyous city;
Isaiah 32:13 NKJV

 First, let's look at this situation. Does it look pleasing at all? Thorns compete with the crops for sunlight, for moisture and for good soil aeration.
Because of thorns, the crops stop growing in the way they are supposed to. Even in our lives, we should be aware of the many things that quench the presence of God in our lives.
The people in our lives should add meaning to our own lives. Where growth in God is encouraged.

 
- Because the palaces will be forsaken, The bustling city will be deserted. The forts and towers will become lairs forever, A joy of wild donkeys, a pasture of flocks—
Isaiah 32:14 NKJV

 Now this land doesn't look like a place anyone can dwell on. If the place was being deserted, what good was there? This is a land of nothingness. Little substance. And nothing pleasing.
 And that's how our lives can also look like without the presence of the Holy Spirit. Life would always be a struggle. Where there's no direction, no joy and little peace.

 
- Until the Spirit is poured upon us from on high, And the wilderness becomes a fruitful field, And the fruitful field is counted as a forest.
Isaiah 32:15 NKJV

The bible says, "Until the Spirit is poured upon us from on high." So the change we strongly desire can only be instituted by the presence of the Holy Spirit.The text goes on to say, "And the wilderness becomes a fruitful field." What could make one become so fruitful? The Holy Spirit.
 He can make us into people that are fruitful. Then the text goes a little further, "And the fruitful field is a forest." Just paint this picture in your mind. From being fruitful, He then makes us into forests of success in our lives.

 
The Holy Spirit makes the difference. He makes the changes. Why the Holy Spirit?
 He made us. He knows us. He knows exactly what we need.

 
- You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.
John 15:16 NKJV

Even Jesus preached the same message. Jesus and the Holy Spirit are One. And Jesus also wants us to be fruitful. Isn't it wonderful! Before we were even born, Jesus appointed us to bear fruit. But how do we bear fruit? The Holy Spirit. He enables us and causes us to bear fruits. Fruits which turn into forests.

 In the name of Jesus Christ, we thank you. We bless you. We acknowledge you. Lord, help us to be conscious of your presence. Lead us into fruitfulness in all we do. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray. Amen
