The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of boldness

Learning about the Holy Spirit is the most exciting thing we could ever do. We can go on and on talking about Him. And our revelation about Him will never be exhausted.
As we finally come to the conclusion of this part, let's see exactly how the Holy Spirit makes us bold.

-Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus.
Acts 4:13 NKJV

 I want us to notice something about the kind of boldness that the Holy Spirit gives. God doesn't give us boldness because it adds to our many good qualities.
In the above text, the bible says, "they were uneducated and untrained." This is how the priests and Sadducees saw Peter and John.
They were seen as useless people. They were seen as people that had no academic brilliance. And that's how the world continues to weigh the success of a person. They'll look at your educational background.

Then the text goes on to say, "And they realized that they had been with Jesus." How does Jesus come into this?
At this point, Jesus had died and resurrected, and had ascended to Heaven. So, which Jesus did they see in them? They noticed that Peter and John carried the very same boldness that Jesus had.This should tell us that we need boldness to carry out our God given assignments. Without that boldness, we'd never be ready to do anything.

 
- And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.
Acts 4:31 NKJV

The bible says that they spoke the word of God with boldness. But only the after being filled with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is important. If He was important then, He is important now. We should see Him as someone that can help us and guide into all things.
 As we continue learning about Him and continue fellow-shipping with Him, we'll live life with the fruitfulness that can only come through the Holy Spirit.
