I sigh when I sit back in the dorm and text with Alesha, apologizing for how we had to cut our date short just because Jason had gotten into a fight with Pyrrha. She tells me it's fine, and then I think about how I could make it up to her. For a few moments, I rewrite the same text over and over again, trying to figure out how to invite her to another date without making it too obvious I like her before confirming she has feelings for me too. As I think about this, the door opens and then Jason walks back in angrily.

" What took you so long to get back," asks Hercules. Jason scoffs at this, and then explains how after his fight with Pyrrha, he had gotten in trouble with Joanna and Glynda, and then they had decided to give him someone to make sure he stayed out of trouble, and how they had chosen Weiss for it, and then on top of that, Yang had locked the two of them in a closet until they had been able to have a civil conversation. I smile softly at this, and I see in his emotions that he enjoyed aspects of that, and that he and Weiss are closer for it.

" So, you're like her bitch now or something, asks Zion, and then the two of them share a mocking chuckle at the idea. Jason walks over, and then sits next to Zion and the two of them read silently in their corner. She hands him a cigarette, and then the two of them smoke happily. I gave up a long time ago on trying to get them to stop smoking, and so I just try not to inhale too much of the smell from it.

Sighing, I think about Alesha, and how amazing she is, and then I turn to Hercules who sits and plays a video game on the TV, and then I get an idea. I ask to talk with him in private, and then he nods and the two of us go up to the roof since I don't want Jason and Zion to here about my crush and then make fun of me for it. Hercules smiles happily at me, and then asks what I wanted to talk about, and then I take a deep breath. " You've dated a lot of women right," I ask, and then he gives a small chuckle.

" Oh yeah," he admits, and then he gets a sort of far off look in his eyes, and then seems almost a little wistful. I can almost hear the unspoken words from him saying he dated way too many in his time. I see him then come back from his thoughts, and then he looks at me curiously. " Why do you ask though?" I poke my fingers together, trying to think how to word it delicately.I feel him watching me the entire time, and then I eventually just decide to come out and then say it.

" Well, if you liked a girl, but you weren't sure if she liked you back or not, how would you deal with that," I ask, and then he thinks after making a joke about how he always knew they liked him back. I chuckle at his joke, and then continue with the question, and I watch as he thinks about the advice to give me, and then I smile, already starting to see him as a sort of older brother I can come to to ask for relationship advice.

" Well, I guess I would throw a party or something," he says as he thinks. " I would invite the girl, but also make sure a lot of other people came so it didn't seem weird, and if I found out she didn't like me, I would make sure she thought it was a friendly invitation. But, at the party I would have party games like spin the bottle or something to kinda test the waters." I nod at this, and then thank him for it. He nods and says it wasn't a problem and then the two of us walk into the room again.

" Everyone, we're gonna have a back to school party," I say, and then Hercules chuckles a little, while Zion and Jason look up at me like I'm crazy. " Yeah, it's gonna be a lot of fun. We're gonna invite all the other first year teams, and it'll be a good way for all of us to get to know each other a little bit better. I'll just go on ahead to invite ATKK to it."

" Well, if Kay doesn't come then I'm not gonna be here either," says Zion, and we all look at her, and then she shrugs and doesn't even look up from her book. " What? Parties are dumb so she and I are gonna sit in the corner making fun of all of you." I chuckle, and then turn to all of them and ask them to invite a team to the party. While I say I'll invite ATKK, then Hercules says he'll invite JNPR and Jason agrees to invite RWBY to the party, while Zion says she can just stay here. The rest of us go to invite our respective teams, and then I smile when I knock on the door to ATKK.

Alesha opens the door, and then I blush when I see she's only wearing a shirt which goes down to her shirt. It takes me a few moments to come back to reality to talk to her, and I have to shake my head to remember what I came here to do. " My team is having a party to celebrate the end of the first week of the new school year, and I was just here to invite my team."

" Sure," says Alesha happily, and then she invites me into her dorm and finishes getting into her pajamas, and then the two of of us talk for hours about our day, and then we finish ironing out details for the party.

-Hercules Pov-

I smile, and then open the door to JNPR, and then Nora looks over from the video game she's playing, and then she gestures over to me, and then I smile and sit down next to her. I look at her character mowing down hordes of enemies which makes me chuckle. For a few moments, I forget why I even came here, especially when she hands me the controller so I can play the game with her.

The two of us play the game for hours, and then we finally beat it, and then she smiles happily and cheers for us. We run across the room and jump so we can do a chest bump, and then end up falling to the floor together, and laughing at ourselves. I help her to our feet, and then she reaches out and pokes my nose. " Boop," she says, and I laugh again and then she and I stand in silence for a few moments. " Wait, why did you come down to the dorm again?"

I smile and then hand her a flier for something. " Well, this year Pyrrha and I have been invited to fight in this tag tournament, and they're letting us choose our partners. I was wondering if you wanted to be my partner for it." Her eyes widen and then she tackles me into a hug, and I smile and hug her back, as she repeats words to say she would love to be my partner for it, which makes me smile.

The two of us talk a lot about our strategy for the tournament, and then I turn to leave, and then I idly remember this wasn't why I had initially come to the dorm. In fact, I was gonna ask Coco to be my partner for the tag tournament originally. I stand still for a few moments, and then realize that every time I talk to Nora, I forget about pretty much everything else. As I stand still, I also try to think why I had come originally, and then it finally clicks with me and then I turn back to her to see her beaming smile. " Oh, Nora. My team is gonna be throwing a party, and I was wondering if you and your team would like to come to it with me."

" Well, I don't wanna speak for them, but I know I'll definitely be coming down to it, and I'll be sure to ask my team if they wanna come with me to it," she says, and then she waves me goodbye, and then I walk out of the room with a big smile on my face, a warm feeling in my chest and then a blush on my face for the first time in a long time, which lasts all the way to when I get back to my dorm.

-Jason Pov-

I sigh when I reach the dorm for Team RWBY, and then I hesitate before I knock on it. Ever since Yang had locked me and Weiss into the closet, I hadn't seen her, which was probably a blessing in disguise. I didn't know how to deal with the fact she had cuddled up to me, or the fact I had held her close to me, or the fact that I hadn't wanted to let go. Shaking those thoughts out of my head for a moment, I knock on the door, and then hope that it isn't Weiss who opens the door.

Despite this, Weiss opens the door, and then looks at me with a kind smile. Apparently, she had no recollection of the time we had cuddled, and so she invites me in. " Ruby and Yang went out for the night to get Ruby new bullets for her scythe, and Blake went to the bookstore, and I've just been coming up with a plan to help you raise your grades," she explains, and then I sigh a little bit, but nod and Weiss closes the door behind us.

I look over and see the notes on the table she has, and then I smile a little and I look up to see the TV is still on, and Ruby and Yang had been playing a fighting game, and then I have to hold back my enthusiasm when I see that it's Marvel vs Capcom 2, which is my favorite game of all time. I walk over and sit on the couch and then finish the match easily. I look up, and then notice Weiss looking at it. " Wanna play," I offer, and then she shakes her head, and says something about being a Schnee, and how she was raised to stay away from childish things like that.

I roll my eyes and then go back to playing the game by myself, and then I notice her still watching the screen, but trying to act like she isn't interested, which makes me roll my eyes. Weiss sits down to me, and then asks me questions about the game, still trying to act like she doesn't care. I hand her a controller, and she tries to decline it, and then she nods and takes it from me, and I explain how to play the game to her.

" Oh yeah. Wanna come to this party my team is having," I ask, and then she nods and says to invite her team, and then she and I play the game together. I win every time, and it isn't difficult for me, since she sucks at this game. But, the entire time she has a big smile on her face, and somehow, that seems to be the real victory to me right now. I sigh and try to force those thoughts from my mind, but I just can't manage to.
