Nico's P.O.V

One moment I was standing on half blood hill and the next I'm lying on the floor with Thalia on top of me.

"Thalia. Get off." I growled. She snickered.

"What? Am I heavy?" She asked in mock surprise while getting up.

"Yes you are." I said then ducked as she tried to slap me half heartedly.

Chiron had sent us here a few days earlier as there have been more sightings of giants. Percy doesn't know yet.

I gazed up at the building that said 'The Leaky Cauldron'. I picked up my black bag and walked inside. We were greeted by a middle aged man.

"Are you Thalia and Nico?" He asked. We nodded.

"I am Tom the bartender. A son of Dionysus. I'll show you to your rooms." Once we put our things down he showed us how to get into Diagon Alley. There weren't a lot of people actually.

"What do we get first?" Thalia asked.

"Wands." I said immediately.

"Alright. Now where would that be?" She asked. I looked around and spotted a shop that had a bunch of Wands on display.

"How about there?" I asked and pointed at the shop. Her face looked shocked like she was  surprised that she hadn't noticed it before. I snickered and she glared at me. I just shrugged it off and walked towards the shop. Inside was dark and musty and kinda reminded me of a library.

"Hello." Someone said from behind me. I saw Thalia jump in fright. I tried to hide a smile as I turned around. An old man stood in front of us.

"I am Ollivander, the owner of this shop. You must be Nico and Thalia." He said. We both nodded.

"Who's first?" He asked. Thalia practically shoved me forward.

"Alright, I guess I am." I grumbled. After trying twelve different wands he gave me a black wand with swirling patterns that looked like bones.

"Flick your wrist." He ordered. I did and suddenly the air darkened. The temperature dropped and shadows seemed to stretch towards me.

"Hmm. How curious. Wood from the Weeping Willow, core of a Thestral hair, eleven inches. Now your turn, young lady." He said to Thalia. After a while she was given a long wand. It had patterns of clouds and winds engraved in it.

"Wood from the Pine tree-" I snickered quietly while Thalia tried to hide her embarrassment with a glare. -"Core of a golden eagles feather, twelve and a half inches. Hmm."

"How much?" I asked.

"It's free." He said.

"Really?" Thalia asked in surprise.

"Of course. It's the least I can do to pay you back for saving the world. Now go on. Shoo!" He led us out of his shop and closed the door. We collected all of our things and then stopped at the pet store. Thalia bought a black eagle with sky blue eyes and had named it Dawn. Every time I walked near an animal they would freak out and try to run away so I eventually gave up. Something bumped into my leg. I looked down and saw a sleek black cat with bright green eyes. It rubbed against my legs again while purring. The shop owner stared wide eyed at me. I picked the cat up and it jumped onto my shoulder.

"How much?" I asked the owner.

"That cat has never let anyone even come near it before. It scratched my colleague so badly he needed to go to the hospital. It's name is Nightmare." He told me.

"Really?" I asked in surprise. He nodded.

"It's yours now." He said. I smiled and we walked out of the shop. I looked at the cat and froze. A glowing grey cat skeleton was perched on my shoulder. I blinked rapidly and it disappeared, in its place was the black cat. It meowed and rubbed against my neck. I glanced around but no one seemed to noticed. Thalia on the other hand had her mouth dropped open in shock.

"What the Hades?" She whispered.

"I-I don't know." I said. 

"It's like that baby Saber Toothed Tiger that Percy and Annabeth saw in Tartaraus." Thalia said. Nightmare climbed onto my head and fell asleep. Thalia laughed.

"That's adorable." She said. We bought all the stuff we needed and headed back to the Leaky Cauldron. Tom showed us to our rooms. As soon as I lay down I was asleep.

Woops. There goes another alarm clock. I groggily got up and got dressed. Nightmare was still asleep. After I packed everything I pounded on Thalia's door.

"Get up! We need to meet Proffeser McGonagle in an hour!" I shouted. I heard her groan sleepily. Half an hour later we were both ready. We met the professor in front of the Leaky Cauldron.

"I am Professor McGonagle." She said.

"Are we going to use Floo powder again?" Thalia asked.

"No, we are going to use a port key. Now hold on." She said and held out a key. We gingerly touched it and suddenly we were gone.

Me: hello.
Thalia: hi.
Nico: Hey.
Me: what's up?
Nico: who exactly are you?
Me: who am I? Who am I! I am the mighty Jasmine Bauer! The daughter of Khione and a huntress of Artemis!
Thalia: a huntress of Artemis? Awesome!
Me: totally!
*hi-fives Thalia*
*Nico rolls his eyes*
Nico: seriously?
Me: pesky boy! Go away and fetch me a soda!
* hi-fives Thalia again*
Nico: come on!
Thalia: shut up and get me a soda too!
*Nico grumbling while leaving the room*
*me and Thalia giggling*
