Chapter Thirteen
Harmony's POV

I woke the next morning to find Keith was gone. I looked outside on the deck and his car was gone. His over night bag was gone! Panic settled in my soul. He had gotten what he wanted out of me then he left me!

Just as I knew he always would. Tears come rushing to my eyes. I was heartbroken. I look around the place with blurred vision in my eyes.

I notice it on the floor! Crumbled up. And an empty beer bottle on the table. He read the letter! He thought I didn't want him! But I had forgiven him. I bent over picking up the paper.

"Oh no! No no no no!" I cry with alarm in my voice. I cry as I sink to my floor. It wasn't over! We loved each other! We found our way to on another. And I never felt more loved than I had with him.

I had to get him to listen to me. That this was all a mistake! I brush back my tears then rush to call over at the Partridge home. It rings and rings. No answer.

I tried all afternoon. In between crying and napping. Laurie was home so I could be with Keith but he was home. Was she mad at me to? Why had she not come back yet?

I was debating on going over there. And demand that Keith talked to me. He had to forgive me. I get dressed and grab my car keys. I rush right over there. I ring the doorbell and Ruben answers it. He looks so upset.

"Can I talk to Keith? Is he here?" I beg of him.
"Come in Harmony! Laurie was trying to call you but your line has been busy" he says as he lets me come inside.
"What's going on?" I demand to know.
"Have a seat" he softly says then points to the couch.

I sit down.

"It's Keith. He's at the hospital" he explains.
I jump up in alarm. "Why? Was he hit by a car? Is he hurt?" I exclaimed in alarm.

"No, he tried to overdose last night. Danny found him on his floor not responding to us. He's recovering. We know it was due to your break up" warns Rueben.

Tears come to me. "I have to see him! I need to talk to him now"  I beg.
"Only family can visit right now" he tells me.
"This is all my fault! Please let me see him!" I cry. Laurie comes in. She hugs me.

I explain everything to them both.
"See, he thinks I don't love him. That I don't want him! It's all a misunderstanding is all! I need to see him! Please help me! I love him" I sob. "God he almost died!"

Laurie hugs me.
"I'll take her to see him" Laurie says to Ruben. She calls her mom up at Keith's room to explain everything. I was shaking I was so upset by this mess. Keith nearly died of heart break!

Laurie drives me there. I was to upset to drive. They say I'm his sister to get me in to see him. He's laying there in bed. He looks so frail. Very pale. He had his eyes closed and resting.

Everyone left me there with him. I sit beside him.

"Keith....."
He opened his eyes. He looks away not wanting to look at me. He looks so hurt and ashamed.
I hold him. I'm sobbing then I kiss him. With all the passion I had in me.

"I am deeply in love with you Keith. Sweetheart you were never meant to read that letter, I had meant to throw it out. How could you think I didn't love you after the night we shared? Please take me back. Please forgive me. And do not ever scare me again! To think I nearly lost you Keith!" I cry holding him. Finally I feel his arms go around me. Holding me back.

"I love you to Harmony! I assumed you hated me. And meant what you wrote. I was lost. Hurting. I could not imagine my life without you in it. I need you so much and I'm sorry for scaring everyone. I'll never do that again" he agrees.

"Can we still be together? I need you. I want you so much. I love you if you will have me. Please don't let me go!" I beg.

I look at him. He has happy tears in his eyes. We kiss. He returns each kiss. I can't get close enough to him.

"My sweet man. I love you!"
"I love you to. And yes, yes I want to be at your side. Your mine" he adds.
"Keith, what heartbreak you went through sweetheart" I softly say. I touch his cheek with my hand.

"Because I thought I lost you! I could not bare that. I love you! Thank you for coming after me. Thank you" he says as he clings to me.
"The night we had our third date I had decided to forgive you Keith. I did forgive you. I should have ripped up the letter. I'm so sorry" I cry. We hold onto each other not saying anything at all.

"Harmony, thank goodness you came today" he sighs. "I will never scare you or my family like that again" he vows.
I kiss him.

Laurie comes to join us.
"Are you guys okay?" She was wondering.
We nod then he smiles.
He squeezed my hand in his.

"I will be. Because she never stopped loving me. And we forgave each other" Keith explained to her.
"Yes" I agree with him.
A day or so later Keith got to come home from the hospital.

Laurie and I made his favorite dinner and dessert. We waited as his mom brought him home. We all rush to hug him and greet him warmly.

"We love you Keith Partridge!" We all exclaimed in unison.
