Last Chapter :(

'What happened?' Farhan asked.

Eifad looked up from her food, 'Huh!' she asked confused. The two sat at the table having their breakfast together in the canteen.

'I am noticing you are behaving so fidgety. Is there something you want to tell me?' Farhan asked her. Eifad looked at him for a second and nodded, 'Yes.'

Farhan held her hand and asked, 'What?'

'Farhan, I was thinking....' Eifad didn't know how to tell him this, what if he gets angry at her.

He squeezed her palm urging her to go on, 'When I thought I was...pregnant...I had...' Eifad looked at him guiltily. 'I decided to... abort the child.' She said and felt an immense rock lift off her chest. She noticed the visible change in Farhan's expressions. He looked shocked.

'Not for any other reason but because I didn't want... Zara to be treated unfairly...I didn't want her to feel like an outsider...With the kid of my own what if I began to discriminate the two.' Eifad shook her head, her eyes pleaded Farhan to understand her.

Farhan smiled at her, she is surprised.

'And why you think that way?'

'Isn't it normal human behaviour?' Eifad countered him. Farhan smiled further.

'But you are not a normal human, Eifad. You are special...you are a superhero.'

'Stop it, Farhan. I am serious.' Eifad said rolling her eyes.

'I am serious, Eifad.' Farhan said seriously.

Eifad blinked at him confused, 'Eifad, Zara is not an outsider and you love her like your own daughter. Your concern is that with your own kid, you might be partial to it. But Eifad even if become partial, I know you will quickly correct yourself. You have raised Zara well, she is well groomed, obedient, and smart girl and she is terribly scared of you (chuckle) she will understand you. And I am sure she will treat the new kid like her own brother or sister...and...' Farhan held her palm tighter, 'Still, if you are uncomfortable we will not have kids.' He said.

Eifad looked at him surprised. How can someone be so selfless? Farhan loves kids, it is evident by the way he smiles and plays with Zara.

Also, he wanted his own kid like he had said this morning but he is still ready to wait till she is comfortable. Eifad shook her head, no, she is not going to be selfish.

She smiled, 'As long as you are with me, I guess I am ready for kids.' She said. Farhan smiled

'But,' his smile faded when Eifad added strictly, 'kids after marriage. Done!'

Farhan smile returned as he nodded, 'Done.'

After a brief pause Farhan looked at Eifad straight into her eyes, 'I am such a lucky man to have a woman like you love me....' he brought her palm towards his lips. Eifad smiled as he kissed the back of her palm.

'I love you, Eifad.' Farhan said sincerely. He gazed into her eyes caressing the back of her palm.

'And I am very lucky to have you love me.' She replied with a smile and then confessed honestly,

'I love you too, Farhan.' A smile on her face.

And then with their fingers entwined they ate their food, content and happy.

Eifad finally had an incomplete void in her life filled with Farhan's love, the man who loves her passionately and selflessly. Eifad has accepted that he loves her more than she loves him, but her love for him is just as passionate but it is in its initial stages while Farhan's love as matured.

Every time Eifad looked at Farhan she realizes how lucky she is to have this man in her life. Eifad didn't know this will happen to her, that she will fall in love again and this time with the man who truly loves her, as a friend and as a lover, a man who respects her and values her, also flirts with her. Farhan is also the man who inspires her, motivates, and corrects her. He is the perfect man for her. Eifad is indeed lucky to fall in love, once again.
